  • Hi Everybody! 🤗✨✨✨ Happy New Year! 🎊🎊 A few months ago I bought some new colors to play with. I was looking for something different and noticed some colors from CIM….they are Milky and Misty Colors. At the time, on the ‘new items’ page at frantzartglass.com were 4 colors that looked beautiful together so I bought them all to expand my color palette.
    As you know, most of the colors I have are on hand are Effetre (when I began glasswork, that was all there was…Moretti, ie. Effetre). It has been wonderful to branch out into the other manufacturers of 104 glass and being able to share my excitement with you of the variety that is now available! 🤗💫🌹
    This is a simple dot pattern bead that showcases these colors in a cascading display of Nesting Shells. The design has so many fun variations and room for all types of extra details! ✨✨I hope you all enjoy this first demo of 2024!
    Thanks so much for tuning in!
    🌹💫🌈Cheers to you all - Robin 🌈💫🌹

    So springy. Interesting how flat the layers were while you were laying down the dots, but they lifted like petals when poked and encased. I'm going to try to create a sort of spiral by placing the dots off to one side each time. Thanks for the wonderful work.

      Hi Linda! 🤗✨ I think that is so amazing about the glass too! Getting patters to ‘float’ and become dimensional in the clear never gets old….it’s so magical!! ✨💫 Having this pattern slightly spiral will look amazing! ✨✨ Glad you enjoyed!! Cheers - Robin 🎊🌹✨✨

    Ohhh, Milkies. I've heard a lot of people rave about these in the lampwork groups, but never seen them used. They do look very nice. I love the pattern, especially with the clear base (the child inside is still staring into marbles at the swirl of colour). Come to think of it, I've always wanted to make a traditional marble. I expect it is an implosion technique, if you have the motivation for a vintage marble, I'd love to know how it's done. Best wishes to you, Robin, from the airconditioned comfort of my bed.

    • @scottwoodresearch
      @scottwoodresearch  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Jirup!! 🤗✨✨ Thanks so much!! These are wonderful colors to work with….i love the consistency of them! It is interesting how different the colors look on a black, white or clear base.💫 I have seen marbles being made before it is interesting because they all come from one long rod of glass that is consistently coming out of the furnace and rolled into balls using machines. No implosion technique is used. Color is already in the core! It’s fascinating… You should look it up on TH-cam. 😃 There must be something out there!✨
      Best wishes to you too my friend! Glad to hear you are in the air conditioning! (I am sitting next to a heater! Lol ) 😂 👋🏽
      Cheers - Robin🌹✨💫
