exactly! but the fact that its not already in the game worries me that there IS some big problem invisible to our eyes. Something under the hood (pun intended) that makes removing said hood... bad, and the reason for this whole desition. I dont know what that would be but ┐(‘～` )┌

Honestly, the worst part by far is the linear echo menu, imported from Botw/ TotK. It SUCKS trying to scroll through a linear list of 100 echoes just to find a specific item you need for a niche puzzle solution.

Just add a custom one so you can sort through only useful ones or let you remove echoes from scroll so you don’t have to go through keese and 80 pots. This was a big critique of totk, and while the game is phenomenal overall, this is unacceptable.

You get a new outfit after the scene, the travel attire. This one doesn't have a hood at all... You can switch back to the disguise, but the hood should be up again. Maybe you're confusing things?
It's like BotW, lots of artworks had Link hoodless, but they only added the option in TotK lol so... now we need to wait until they release Echoes of Wisdom 2

I dont know If IT was patched but you can toggle the Hood on and Off and even give her some catears 😂😂 it's in the Equipment Screen at the bottom left.

On a similar note regarding Skyward Sword, I was super frustrated to learn Skyloft Clothes weren't available for the adventure in Hero Mode. Back then it wasn't simple to add updates to a Wii. But nothing justify Nintendo not adding this feature to Skyward Sword HD or even making it possible with an update/DLC. It was so refreshing to venture the Seas with Link's Lobster Shirt. SS and TP (Ordon Clothes) should've done the same in their respectives Hero Modes. If not for the modding community we'd never get those simple things that could as easily be available from the start.

The only two issues I've found in this game is not having hoodless Zelda and not having an echoes favorites section.
The lack of a favorite echo option is also unfortunate.
Just keep using the echo and have it on the most used section.

You have 5 different sort options for the linear list, also in the pause (plus) menu you can choose the active echo from a nicely arranged grid.
