The weird thing about Stalhorses is that their bones can float but the normal Stal enemies skulls don't float when tossed in water.
Weird.
Probably because of the coding for the monsters. Since Horses usually don’t drown but Bokos usually do
@@riptidedune yeah, that's probably what it is, I was more approaching it from a "this doesn't make sense in the world" perspective then from a game design perspective
Their entire buoyancy is just code stripped from the horse and given to Stalhorses. The devs were too lazy to add a drown animation to horses. (Or for this case, Stalhorses.)
@@mattchew062307 these are the least lazy devs in the industry. If people take this kind of attitude with the ones raising the bar, I don’t want to see any complaints when the ACTUAL problems get worse.
"Bones don't float"
Bones don't galop or trot either my man. Let the cute phantom horses swim if they like it
😭 You're right. I need to let the horse live it's dreams.
Then why don’t people sink???? Checkmate buddy
This is a joke by the way
@@TheBreadPirate love ur vids but LET HIM LIVE
I think yall mean let them AfterLive their AfterLife
@@PissJarGaming69 i know this is a joke, but iirc some people can sink, like bodybuilders (i know its a joke, dont wooosh me please, my life will surely fall if i get -1 karma /s)
The pebblets actually DO have a soft outer shell, despite looking like rocks. The rock layer will harden as they grow up 👀 I’m pretty sure this info is from the hyrule compendium
You appear to be right! Here is what the compendium says:
" *A very young Stone Talus. Their bodies toughen as they mature, becoming as tough as boulders by adulthood. As a child, however, their bodies are light enough to be lifted and fragile enough to break when thrown.* "
Good find!
Do you think you could like…. Mold it? Like a human babies soft head! Like squish it like clay
@@shonkyhonker9347 I’m thinking it’s more like a talc or shale kind of softness
@@shonkyhonker9347 Have you been molding human baby heads??
@@flarebreaker6614 it’s called artificial cranial deformation! pretty famously ancient egyptians at some point considered elongated heads desirable and molded newborn babies with special cradles and cloth binding.
Hypothesis: Stalhorses and stalnoxes are not closely related to horses and hinoxes. As indicated by their hollow bones, they are more closely related to birds.
Life.. huh.. finds a way!
Or.. the actual answer is that they rotted, doofus.

Yiga long blades. Normally if you hold X you will charge up a wind beam attack (that's what I'm calling it and you can't change my mind). If you fuse a rocket to the sword you will start spinning instead, when the rocket goes away you will still be spinning but you will also start sending out wind beam attacks. Also, if you fuse an elemental fuse to it, your wind beam will become a Fire, Ice, Lightning, etc. beam
Naydra Horn or bust
You mean y?
BEAM ATTACK
This is fairly well documented. And I believe the name you're looking for is Eightfold Longblade.
okay so not THAT well documented@@xinpingdonohoe3978
7:14 Since they attack together, it makes sense to use wind to separate them
While for the smoke? Its an actual strategy beekeepers use, smoking the bees will slow them down without harming them, so they can get the honey without getting stung as much.
Very nice details!
Fun fact: you can recall a shooting star.
And catch it
Mirrors actually work in the depths, so long as it's under an active lightroot. Also, I don't know if this was a one time occurrence or not but the shrine on light cast island once played the wrong shine music, playing the proving grounds undetected theme instead of the normal blessing shrine song.
WOW! That's really cool.
If I ever use this fact in a video, I'll be sure to give you credit.
I like the idea that bees have more mass when they aren't being watched.
I remember how I found out about the wheels and emmiters and the such despawn, I had build the ultimate war machine, and vowed to take it from where I built it (Dueling Peaks Stable) to Rito Village, but while i was going north along the Tabantha Ridge, it vanished, RIP Freddy Frostburn. You will be missed.
I tried to get a lurlin boat to the veeery edge of hebra but he disappeared at tabantha Bridge. that is when I figured out fans and wheels aren't forever.
I’m not in a financial position to support anyone online right now but I really like that he mentions what he used the money on, no saying you need to spend it on something to help the video insted of for food or anything, but if makes me feel like we are actually making him able to create better work.
Thanks for the feedback! And no worries if you can't donate. I appreciate your comment just as much.
The Pebblits being weak to spikes/thorns makes sense, just think of them as Pokemon so they're weak to the Steel Yiga spikes and Grass thorns
I never thought of the Pokemon references in totk
My word, the universes are connected.
@@TheBreadPirate Nintendo DOES own both of them so and they both crossover in Smash Bros...

In the forgotten temple, the map of ancient hyrule depicts hyrule field as completely flooded, with only the hills left.
I think that recall only recalls things that you interact with and cause to move (with some exceptions, like the falling ruble), because if you hold something in the air without moving, it will stay in the air during recall for however long you held it for. This also doesn’t apply to things that were naturally in the air before you moved them, like hoverstones.
You can also recall one of those awkwardly shaped stones that fall from the sky even though you didn't interact with it or cause it to move.
I’m sure an object creates a series of path nodes whenever it moves, and has no reason to create more nodes if it’s not moving. It would stand to reason then that there’s no time limit, just a node limit.
There is two things that have to happen for the recall to work, one is actual movement and the other is usage of ultrahand, not garenteed sometimes for whatever reason. if you hold something still with ultrahand it will cut it out of the recall time sometimes, but this might happen due to the 20 second rewind time. And stillness has some form of less priority when deleting footage per se.
I wonder if it does something fancy like measuring entropy of an object.
8:24 you can actually use this to fight three lynels at once! If you use two of your medallions to teleport into the second and fourth chambers, you can kill the lynels with ancient blades. When you go into the coliseum, the remaining chambers will all open and you will be fighting a red-maned, white-maned, and armored silver lynel at the same time!
3:00 Any Zonai device that uses power disappear after active for 30 minutes, and wings and balloons disappear after 90 seconds iirc, mirrors also disappear after 30 minutes, and nothing else disappears from use
The stalhorse wasn't floating. He was swimming. Like you said, bones don't float, which is why humans don't float. But we can stay afloat when we swim. That's what the stalhorse was doing.
The animations (from what I’ve noticed) were the default walking animation. You can even see the horse jumping in surprise in said clip.

Dude how did you not get the Chicken Little reference?
5:00 i never knew bees were seen as hostile by zonai devices 👀
great video bread! i learned a lot from this one :)
Thanks Nayruuu! (suspicious name you have there... reminds me of another rival)
0:35 no bludgeoning object is ever needed. You can pick them up and drop them and they’ll die
Don't know about the Stalnox, but Stalhorses likely use the same code as the other horses since they can swim if necessary.
While perhaps they didn't anticipate the popularity of doing so, it seems Nintendo did intend for you to torture the Koroks a little bit. There's a "take me to my friend" puzzle on Death Mountain. Usually with these puzzles there is equipment nearby to indicate a means of reaching your goal. With this one, it seems the intended solution is to use a rocket.
Much like with the Champion Abilities in Breath of the Wild, Zonai orbs that are in your inventory can not be used in shrines.
Personal Zonai devices as well as sage summons can't be used in shrine puzzles.
@@ARUCARDFTEPES That's not entirely true.
Any Zonai thingies fused to weapons/shields before you enter can be used in the shrines.
I've cheated a bunch of the shrines by fusing a rocket to a shield before going in.
Also the autobuild ability is negated, in addition to the sages' abilities and the Zonai marble thingies.
@@psyduckrules Yeah, anything you fused before will be available, but you can't take any of those devices out while in the shrine. Thinking ahead, or making smart saves can help, but it's hard to predict what you'll need before going in.
@@ARUCARDFTEPES Pretty easy actually... rocket + shield solves most traversal puzzles for instance. :P
It's always happy when Bread uploads!
#13 though, none of those effects on bees are surprising, as pretty much the same thing would happen under the same circumstances in real life.
Fair enough!
Haven't been watching many of your videos due to trying to avoid ToTk spoilers, but I finally sat down to watch this one
7:45 is probably the funniest thing I've seen all day as well.
Ayy, thanks!
The huge fires on top of look out landing never burn out even when it rains
I noticed that on every single number before it actually became a number for one frame it was an among us symbol as you can see here at 0:19 and if you pause the video there and go a few frames back with the comma and fullstop buttons, you'll see it. Idk why bread put that there but ok
wonderful catch!
Probably because these are "sus" facts
I believe Zucker is sus. I saw him vent.

9:33 i just noticed that when 7 asked us to like the vid the like button on the site glowed. Idk if it was like voice recognition that msde yt bits realize ur asking us to like or if its some setting in the vids but thats cool!
4:25 BreNeko is the goat is the goat of totk, I have learned so many cool tricks from him.
I had a very though past couple days. I’m staying in a women’s shelter and you really brightened my day when you said “have fun storming the castle” I’m teary eyed now bc even though I’m so sad, your voice is just as lovely and vibrant as ever. Thank you, those little things make a big difference… have fun storming the castle 🥲💚 (gets me every time)
What’s really suspicious is the fact that the stalnox has BOKOBLIN HEADS on its horn
do you remember me from your pirate livesteam? i had a lot of fun! btw cool video. my favourite content of yours is the fact videos.
I don't remember your exact username, but I remember the stream you're talking about! I'm glad you like the fact videos so much. :D
If you attack trap bananas, the yiga will say you saw through the trap
Ooo, on 13, iirc in breath of the wild theres either an NPC or a diary that mentions smoking out bees as a way to deal with them and get their honey, but in botw this was actually a somewhat scrapped mechanic since the only way to create smoke was to put down a campfire near the bees or use a torch (neither of which are particularly ideal). So, it's cool to see that they brought that back in totk and made easier ways to utilize it via the puffshroom smoke and even wind! (Esp cause smoke is affected by wind so even if you dropped a puffshroom off target you might be able to blow it in the bees' direction a short ways before it fully dissipates!)
8:02 SHOTS FIRED!!! SHOTS FIRED!!!
3:18 also the floating platform around the map despawn/return after a while. Not sure if its the distance or time away from the area
A cool thing about the 15th fact is that after finishing a lynel coliseum and then placing a travels medallion in a room. Place a travels medallion in another room next to it then wait for a blood moon to come then travel back to kill both lynels with ancient arrows. then trigger the scene where the rooms open then you can fight 3 lyenls AT ONCE!
Is that how Rinharasaki did it? That's awesome!
On my first totk file, I basically found all the lightroots in one sitting by going through the entire depths on a flying machine, and the fans despawned twice. I had to get new ones. I didn't know this wasn't a widely-known fact lol
I experienced the "no recall limit" when I was facing a king gleeok and my sword got electrocuted away from me, off a cliff, and even the hit box was small, I could recall it.
1:13 literally that horse losed his stamina completely
Link should definitely stop touching bananas, especially his own... How many do your links have? Mine has 999 :(
YOU CANT HIDE THAT CREWMATE SYMBOL FROM ME.
9:15 wait, people were confused about that?
I always understood that recall saves like a fixed amount of seconds/frames and only when is in motion
For example if you interrupt it in the middle of the path, it will still have the starting point until the max seconds/frames it can save start overdriving it
I like how the among us is there because it’s “SUS”
The Lord of the Mountain:
-Freaks out stable people
-Has infinite stamina
-Fastest NATURAL mount (I think), no enhancers
-Can’t register him
You can ride animals other than horses, like Lord of the Mountain, deer, goats, etc.
You can feed wildlife.
You can parry any Lynel attack
Ok so, do puffshrooms make enemies deaf too? Like you can whistle near them and they're none the wiser
Recall remembering an object's movement 30 minutes later is *suspicious* indeed...
Wait. . .
When the number sixteen appears at 8:46, it's starts out as an amongus sign before changing to a 16?!
WHAT?!
Ah yes the perfect video to watch while I make a new cosplay mask thank you, Bread!
I always thought that for recall, all items that have been generated store their coordinates for the previous x amount of frames (so however long in seconds a full recall lasts). It would explain why immobile items dont forget where they've been, because the information has been written over
9:20 thanks I was wondering how the rocks that drop from hyrule recall back after a long time, it made my brain fry
5:50 for something similar, launch yonoho at a sleeping battle talus to just enough where it would be "set on fire" and it creates a giant steam cloud
This may also work when its awake but ive never gotten a chance to test that
When playing through Tears of the Kingdom, what I understood about how recall worked was that it kept a record of the object's positions and orientations that updated either at certain intervals of movement or when it stopped moving, and if it keeps moving past the limit, the queue of records will bump out the oldest one. I did, however, assume that the queue would naturally clear over time, which seems to be completely wrong.
0:29 They also take damage from freezing water, even frost ones
I actually discovered that fans disspawn when I built a pirate ship and went on a trip in the sea for 2 hours
(in game)
9:28 fun fact about recall, if you cancel it and start it again before to long, you can go further back
I like to think zonai devices stay on longer for Zonai, because their magic/power is directly linked to it.
Great video! I just dont get how some of these are sus, like, how is puffshroom smoke having gravity a fact considered sus?
When is the last time you watched smoke *fall*?
I like how you credit the people that tell you these cool factoids 😊
Zeltik and others don’t and it’s a little detail like this I appreciate
The level of detail in both BotW and TotK continue to surprise me.
Ngl, I never noticed that it was actually link’s hair clipping in the climbing set. For some reason I always thought it was like, a pin or something
Korok pots are actually more hazelnut shaped but it's the same vibe

4:45 Finally, someone actually found a use for the battery!
the cannon despawns after shots not minutes but ads up 30 minutes
I woulda called them Schrodinger bees cuz you don't know what's happening until you look at them
I found a spot near the Necluda coastline while I was sailing where My boat bumped into a rock when I climbed onto the rock I noticed All the mighty porgies below my boat were COOKED but there was nothing about the water that suggested that fish should immediately be a teriyaki plate but that’s what happened if you want to investigate it at one of those places on the coast of Necluda that you can get wood planks and sails from right by that place what the rocks and which the big tall rock that sticks out in the middle go check it out if you want to I can’t guarantee it will happen for anybody else though
bread pirate is now blue? 😮😮😮🟦

Guys don’t steal from Bokoblins we need all the supplies we can get
Did you know that normal horses also do this too? The normal horses are in panic though, and drown after a while
Btw congrats on 100k subscribers
Combat fact: after using a dazzlefruit on gloomhands you get a good chance to shoot bomb flower arrows at them being a way to cheese them! (You can use this tip in a video if you didnt already)
7:25 I mean that makes sense since IRL bee keepers will smoke their hives to calm the bees before collecting the honey combs as bees even to their keepers do not support theft of their honey.
3:08 While yes, they last 30 minutes in our time, do note that they lasted at least 1 day of ingame time (shown by the timelapse) before they disappeared forever
Another weird thing with recall, my brother tried using recall on a shooting star and when he did it just deleted it.
I think the reason the pebbles take spike damage is because the spikes act like the end of a pick axe
on the pirate ship if you kill a boko and sleep on the ship the boko will respond this works with moblins too. its a easy way to farm monster parts. im not sure if this is well know or not i found it out by mistake
You could probably add on to it by creating something like a spinning beam laser to kill them to speed it up and save durability
puffshrooms and fire are strong against bees because beekepers use smoke on bees to put them in a calmer state so they dont attack
Since I saw that you could build in TotK I wanted to make a warship and fly around Hyrule. I have since learned the hard way that fans despawn when my warship died in the middle of Hyrule field.
On the trails throughout teno village have little stones that are very detailed
links non-rauru hand get painted fingernails if he wears the Charged, Frostbite or Ember chestpiece, being green-ish yellow, blue and orange respectively.
bottom left corner at 1:49
This is crazy that he changed his logo from green to blue and I just dyed my hair blue
On the bees being weak to wind- flying insects such as bees and mosquitoes can't fly against even a slight breeze IRL.
Okay in all fairness it was a perfectly good banana
Also great video! Always a spectacular day when TBP uploads 😄
Don't trust the banana!!

I’ve liked bread pirate for ages and always wait for him to post
Zonai technology. Sure it's lasted 10,000 years but Link just happened to find them on their expiration date.
XD
Zonai devices all having timers makes sense from a Tech perspective. Machines and devices overheat. Zonai tech is probably no different
I once sneakstriked a boko, and he just turned upside down and clipped through the ground
If you take out a wheel and control stick, attach the control stick on and mount it, hit the shield button while riding your camera will keep spinning

How you know? 🤨
I wonder if that colloseum bug could be used to safely farm Silver Lynels each blood moon.. I know you'd need a TON of environmental objects to pelt them with due to their HP but still.
Possible video idea? How many does it take to kill a Silver Lynel.
I use ice/frost against the bees. My puffshrooms are too precious to me as an assassin 😈
