I think that recall only recalls things that you interact with and cause to move (with some exceptions, like the falling ruble), because if you hold something in the air without moving, it will stay in the air during recall for however long you held it for. This also doesn’t apply to things that were naturally in the air before you moved them, like hoverstones.
I’m sure an object creates a series of path nodes whenever it moves, and has no reason to create more nodes if it’s not moving. It would stand to reason then that there’s no time limit, just a node limit.
There is two things that have to happen for the recall to work, one is actual movement and the other is usage of ultrahand, not garenteed sometimes for whatever reason. if you hold something still with ultrahand it will cut it out of the recall time sometimes, but this might happen due to the 20 second rewind time. Don't know about the Stalnox, but Stalhorses likely use the same code as the other horses since they can swim if necessary. here is an addition to the bonus fact, if timed correctly, you can use recall on the ice blocks and grab them just to have a platform in a normally unobtainable location
The Lord of the Mountain: -Freaks out stable people -Has infinite stamina -Fastest NATURAL mount (I think), no enhancers -Can’t register him You can ride animals other than horses, like Lord of the Mountain, deer, goats, etc. You can feed wildlife. You can parry any Lynel attack
A cool thing about the 15th fact is that after finishing a lynel coliseum and then placing a travels medallion in a room. Place a travels medallion in another room next to it then wait for a blood moon to come then travel back to kill both lynels with ancient arrows. then trigger the scene where the rooms open then you can fight 3 lyenls AT ONCE!
I experienced the "no recall limit" when I was facing a king gleeok and my sword got electrocuted away from me, off a cliff, and even the hit box was small, I could recall it.
8:30 I used this fact recently to beat the Tri-Lynel challenge. For context. Put 2 travel medallions down in the Floating Colleseum where the blue and unarmored Silver Lynel are. Come back after a Blood Moon. Go to the Blue Lynel and kill it with an Ancient Blade. Run around until you see arrows being shot at you. Teleport to the other point and kill the Silver Lynel. Then if you did everything right, the Red, White, and Armored Lynels will all be loose from their cages at once. And it is pure Chaos.
When playing through Tears of the Kingdom, what I understood about how recall worked was that it kept a record of the object's positions and orientations that updated either at certain intervals of movement or when it stopped moving, and if it keeps moving past the limit, the queue of records will bump out the oldest one. I did, however, assume that the queue would naturally clear over time, which seems to be completely wrong.
I found a spot near the Necluda coastline while I was sailing where My boat bumped into a rock when I climbed onto the rock I noticed All the mighty porgies below my boat were COOKED but there was nothing about the water that suggested that fish should immediately be a teriyaki plate but that’s what happened if you want to investigate it at one of those places on the coast of Necluda that you can get wood planks and sails from right by that place what the rocks and which the big tall rock that sticks out in the middle go check it out if you want to I can’t guarantee it will happen for anybody else though
I'm late to this video but the fact that you made number 12 blue like the game over screen after dying to ice is probably my favorite part of the video
* “Ideally, I prefer Zelda facts which no one has talked about on TH-cam yet.” * Did you know that (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate) Princess Zelda can fly? And has a parachute dress? And she doesn’t need pixie dust or jump into a deep hole for any of that.
I guess this might be well known, but I visited Tarrey Town at night for maybe the first time recently and noticed the usually, almost goofy theme music had become much more understated and pleasant. Usually I sleep at home, then go into town so I don't think I've heard it before.
9:15 wait, people were confused about that? I always understood that recall saves like a fixed amount of seconds/frames and only when is in motion For example if you interrupt it in the middle of the path, it will still have the starting point until the max seconds/frames it can save start overdriving it
Here's a useless fact that I had some fun with: different head gear will alter how Link's hair behaves in updrafts. If you go to a sky maze and stand on a surface in the middle, you can see the effects. His hair is even surprisingly responsive to head movements, which you can test by taking a selfie and switching stances.
Ooo, on 13, iirc in breath of the wild theres either an NPC or a diary that mentions smoking out bees as a way to deal with them and get their honey, but in botw this was actually a somewhat scrapped mechanic since the only way to create smoke was to put down a campfire near the bees or use a torch (neither of which are particularly ideal). So, it's cool to see that they brought that back in totk and made easier ways to utilize it via the puffshroom smoke and even wind! (Esp cause smoke is affected by wind so even if you dropped a puffshroom off target you might be able to blow it in the bees' direction a short ways before it fully dissipates!)
Since recall doesn't do anything for a few seconds, you can spam it and kinda use it as stasis. But it's very useful if you want to ultrahand a fast moving object. Just use recall, and you will have a few seconds where you can ultrahand it easily.
As someone who enjoys road trips on the Hyrulean landscape, I've seen my share of despawned wheels and fans. Also, #15 can be used to fight against three Lynels at the same time.
Zonai "technology" is pretty much magical in nature. And remember, in-game time flows at a rate of 1 minute per real world second, so to the characters in the game most Zonai devices last 30 hours. Supposedly you can chase away bees just by having a torch on you. (Also cucco is pronounced kook-koh, not koo-koo.)
I encountered the wheel/light despawn timer on accident. There was a time when I used the wood and zonai parts scattered near the Hudson Construction site to build a busin-game, after driving around nearly all of Hyrule carrying Koroks and trying to not fall of bridges, the wheels despawned by the time I managed to get to Lookout Landing. I guess Hyrule isn't getting a transit system anytime soon!
Maybe the Zonai intentionally made their technology last for a short time because they didn't want the populace running around with world-destroying mechs and destroy the kingdom.
i think there's like an internal recorder for every object, it remembers the last 30 seconds or so if its movement and if it comes stationary the recording pauses but will remember the time spent stationary when you move it again, its probably why recalling things that have been sitting in water or shifting sand for a while will see them not move much cause they've been bobbing around for the last however long. I did realize it had no distance limit and was able to cheese a shrine where the puzzle was using sleds to cross a shifting sand room to reach the orb but I just recalled it back to the platform that booted it all the way over there, though finding the right angle was fiddly as it was very small and behind a barred gate so i had to find the EXACT pixel to recall it.
I always thought that for recall, all items that have been generated store their coordinates for the previous x amount of frames (so however long in seconds a full recall lasts). It would explain why immobile items dont forget where they've been, because the information has been written over
On my first totk file, I basically found all the lightroots in one sitting by going through the entire depths on a flying machine, and the fans despawned twice. I had to get new ones. I didn't know this wasn't a widely-known fact lol
5:50 for something similar, launch yonoho at a sleeping battle talus to just enough where it would be "set on fire" and it creates a giant steam cloud This may also work when its awake but ive never gotten a chance to test that

@@psyduckrules Yeah, anything you fused before will be available, but you can't take any of those devices out while in the shrine. Thinking ahead, or making smart saves can help, but it's hard to predict what you'll need before going in.
@@ARUCARDFTEPES Pretty easy actually... rocket + shield solves most traversal puzzles for instance. :P
In that area you will also see like 300 seagulls circling around that area
9:33 i just noticed that when 7 asked us to like the vid the like button on the site glowed. Idk if it was like voice recognition that msde yt bits realize ur asking us to like or if its some setting in the vids but thats cool!
3:18 also the floating platform around the map despawn/return after a while. Not sure if its the distance or time away from the area
Haven't been watching many of your videos due to trying to avoid ToTk spoilers, but I finally sat down to watch this one
7:45 is probably the funniest thing I've seen all day as well.
Ayy, thanks!
Did you know? If you shoot a trap banana that's on the ground, the Yiga will be summoned with a different message, where they ask you why you would do such a thing to a banana.
0:29 They also take damage from freezing water, even frost ones
Would really like to see another one of these videos. This was great!
here is an addition to the bonus fact, if timed correctly, you can use recall on the ice blocks and grab them just to have a platform in a normally unobtainable location
The Lord of the Mountain:
-Freaks out stable people
-Has infinite stamina
-Fastest NATURAL mount (I think), no enhancers
-Can’t register him
You can ride animals other than horses, like Lord of the Mountain, deer, goats, etc.
You can feed wildlife.
You can parry any Lynel attack
5:38 Wasn't expecting a Doctor Who reference in this video, but I sure ain't complainin'.
Is that how Rinharasaki did it? That's awesome!
Bees irl are kept peaceful using smoke which is why the puffshroom and fire work
I experienced the "no recall limit" when I was facing a king gleeok and my sword got electrocuted away from me, off a cliff, and even the hit box was small, I could recall it.
Never thought the korok acorns would be called pots, I always called them nuts
9:28 fun fact about recall, if you cancel it and start it again before to long, you can go further back
Putting a mighty banana on fire. Till it’s roasted lets you pick up with no ambush
What’s really suspicious is the fact that the stalnox has BOKOBLIN HEADS on its horn
9:20 thanks I was wondering how the rocks that drop from hyrule recall back after a long time, it made my brain fry
8:02 SHOTS FIRED!!! SHOTS FIRED!!!
I'm late to this video but the fact that you made number 12 blue like the game over screen after dying to ice is probably my favorite part of the video
5:35 It’s that peer pressure, man. they know that you’re watching so they’re nervous and mess up
Somethings sus about that egg 2:15
* “Ideally, I prefer Zelda facts which no one has talked about on TH-cam yet.” *
Did you know that (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate) Princess Zelda can fly?
And has a parachute dress?
And she doesn’t need pixie dust or jump into a deep hole for any of that.
XD
Sounds similar to another princess. 🍑
I guess this might be well known, but I visited Tarrey Town at night for maybe the first time recently and noticed the usually, almost goofy theme music had become much more understated and pleasant. Usually I sleep at home, then go into town so I don't think I've heard it before.
Link should definitely stop touching bananas, especially his own... How many do your links have? Mine has 999 :(
9:15 wait, people were confused about that?
I always understood that recall saves like a fixed amount of seconds/frames and only when is in motion
For example if you interrupt it in the middle of the path, it will still have the starting point until the max seconds/frames it can save start overdriving it
The specifics of recall is that is records the last 20 seconds of movement and stores it until you use the ability, regardless of how long you wait
If you attack trap bananas, the yiga will say you saw through the trap
Ah yes the perfect video to watch while I make a new cosplay mask thank you, Bread!
Since recall doesn't do anything for a few seconds, you can spam it and kinda use it as stasis. But it's very useful if you want to ultrahand a fast moving object. Just use recall, and you will have a few seconds where you can ultrahand it easily.
YOU CANT HIDE THAT CREWMATE SYMBOL FROM ME.
I like how the among us is there because it’s “SUS”
I like how you credit the people that tell you these cool factoids 😊
Zeltik and others don’t and it’s a little detail like this I appreciate
It would explain why immobile items dont forget where they've been, because the information has been written over
I actually discovered that fans disspawn when I built a pirate ship and went on a trip in the sea for 2 hours
(in game)
do you remember me from your pirate livesteam? i had a lot of fun! btw cool video. my favourite content of yours is the fact videos.
I don't remember your exact username, but I remember the stream you're talking about! I'm glad you like the fact videos so much. :D
On my first totk file, I basically found all the lightroots in one sitting by going through the entire depths on a flying machine, and the fans despawned twice. I had to get new ones. I didn't know this wasn't a widely-known fact lol
I actually did manage to get the fans in a hoverbike to despawn once, was quite surprised when it happened!
I like to think zonai devices stay on longer for Zonai, because their magic/power is directly linked to it.
The real amongus of the bread
5:50 for something similar, launch yonoho at a sleeping battle talus to just enough where it would be "set on fire" and it creates a giant steam cloud
This may also work when its awake but ive never gotten a chance to test that
3:08 While yes, they last 30 minutes in our time, do note that they lasted at least 1 day of ingame time (shown by the timelapse) before they disappeared forever
Wait. . .
When the number sixteen appears at 8:46, it's starts out as an amongus sign before changing to a 16?!
WHAT?!
4:45 Finally, someone actually found a use for the battery!
recall is my favorite ability it's so cool bc you can cheese the crap out of so many things
about number 7! I have, on multiple occasions, used the same hoverbike for so long that its fans quit
The level of detail in both BotW and TotK continue to surprise me.
I don’t think I have ever bludgeoned those Little Rock things. I always just picked them up and threw before they could finish self-destructing.
I have actually had fans run out on me. My hoverbike. In the depths. Directly above a Lynel.
That clip will never be deleted.
*O h n o.*
@@AuroraTheTherian45Lol it turned out fine since it was already fairly late-game. Just wasnt expecting it
@@penguin_reader_yt9510 oh lmao
Ok so, do puffshrooms make enemies deaf too? Like you can whistle near them and they're none the wiser
