I trimmed a little thread with some baby scissors on a leather like Nelson SOVEREIGN bible. I usually like part yapp but have ordered a full ONE just to see it.
I have ordered a dark brown leather BIBLE in Buffalo leather and I think it will be very nice and maybe NOT very floppy but I do really like Buffalo leather especially when I can get it in a blue color which is my favourite but a dark brown will be nice also it is an ESV Bible and I hope it will help me to understand and read that translation a bit more.

I have the Nasb Schuyler full yapp in blue goatskin. It’s amazing. I also have the over stitching on the back top. It seems to be standard on full yapps that they make and not a mistake. I trained the yapp and it will stay for the most part but not completely. However, it is truly beautiful.I have an Allan and I like them equally but I believe the Schuyler layout and construction is superior.

I have not ordered a MMC bible or an Allan bible. I think most are overpriced and over hyped. I like less expensive bibles as long AS easy to READ.
I like NKJV because it is well done and not revised so much . I find that it sounds like KJV but with minor changes. I think I heard that they used original manuscripts to retranslate in 1975 to 1982 ?
And did NOT just clean up or change KJV. So I think THAT is my favourite for NOW. I do have a PSQ in NKJV so am glad of that. I like smaller bibles but with good FONT and white space readability. Things I've learned by watching reviews. From different sources. It is a full time avocation. Even being retired I like to learn MORE.
I don't have an Allan either... Maybe one day 😄
I can understand why some like NKJV. It was revised in 1982.

Do you use the full-size or personal-size as an everyday carry?
I use the full-size mainly, but on occasion, for funerals, weddings, and some home visits I will some times use my PSQ 😉
I find I read smaller bibles with readable PRINT. ..MORE.
8.5 x 5.5 x 1.5 about is my favourite size.
GOLDILOCKS SIZE.

the PSQ mahogany had grown on me. unfortunately those Fullsize with the full yapp are sold out.

I just purchased a new one (with no box) on eBay tonight. I was debating for a week and a half about spending that kind of money, the other day I decided to order one. Much to my surprise they sold out of them 3 days ago. They sold the last green one yesterday as well. There is an imperial blue on eBay right now, current bid is at $187.50.

I ended up getting a green fy. And the Bible came out messed up. I mean the spine where it says holy Bible is crooked. And the esv and the Schuyler cross is way off and miss printed. Then after expecting it the ribbons were glued on very poorly. One ribbon was glued flat and the rest were glued on half way but in the same of another. I kinda see why cuz if the ribbons weee glued on flat they wouldn’t fit. If yours the same?? Another thing the art gilding outline was off as well and crooked and printed on the front cover where it folds over. Ugh. It was a disappointment for sure. Mailing it in for a exchange. They said it’s normal. But trust me this ain’t normal. If I plan on spending this much on a Bible. I kinda expect a quality one. No way have this Bible should’ve been shipped out. Sorry for the rant. But after watching your review. I see you got a flawless one. ❤️ btw my fy Bible had that same issue as well with the sewing on the back

The TOPAZ has verse #s. In RED also. As do most Nelson PREMIER BIBLES now ALSO. Quentel does NOT.
