    Thank You for a wonderfully detailed, insightful, and uniquely inspirational review. I have plenty of scars myself from 55 years on Earth, so I have learned that when something or someone is loved those scars can be a thing of beauty and increase character. Schuyler has made what I feel to be the perfect Bible for me in this edition of the Canterbury. When I received it on Wednesday, I felt as if Christmas morning had arrived. Love the 11 pt. milo font for my eyes and it is a package I feel the KJV deserves.
    For what it’s worth, I enjoy having the Jerusalem cross on the cover, thank you for taking the time to investigate and providing the background and explanations provided by Evangelical Bibles. I don’t believe in a previous commentators views that Satan has infiltrated or can ever corrupt the Word of God.!
    I’m reminded of the Gospel of Matthew :
    Matthew 12:25-26 King James Version (KJV)
    25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
    26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
    Therefore - In my mind I am reading the true and life giving and protecting Word of God, Saved by our Lord Jesus Christ,
    The forces of Darkness will hold no dominion over me!
    Once again, thank you for your continuing inspirational videos and for helping us through difficult times!
    God Bless You, and your family!
    Happy 4th !!!🌟

    Very helpful review. Was looking forward to you doing this and my expectations were met and then some. Thank you very much brother. I would like to get a Canterbury just to enjoy the beautiful type setting and use those subject headings which can help someone find stuff. Was thinking about getting the wide margin Canterbury but I may go with the new 28 gsm one like in this video but without the full yapp instead. I think the new ones without the full yapp are still the same thing on the inside. Good to see that those typos are fixed and that the text pops off the page a little more. Looking forward to my first Schuyler Bible.

    Hello,
    What is the difference between the Schuyler Canterbury Bible and the Schuyler Quentel Bible? Can you please give some details please? Is one a fancier Bible and is one any softer. What are the font sizes and where is the best place to get them. I am very interested in these Bibles. Also looking for an NLT as well as a NKJV. I noticed on some of these where the Chapter numbers are at they have a beautiful design next to Chapters. Do you like the Allan Bibles any better than the Schuyler?
    Thank you.

      Tamara Fox Yeah, they sold out during the preorder phase - the fastest selling Bible they had. They just took it off the site a few days ago. It said “Out of Stock” for a few weeks. I guess they had so many inquiries about when it was coming out again that they took it off. Always be watching their website as well as the Facebook page for Schuyler and a Schuyler fan page called Schuyler Bible Super Fans. As soon as they start a printing again, I’m sure they will do a huge preorder. Until then the same new text block is available in the regular yapp.

    Im curious, if you can take a look at Job-2 and see if it looks all good. I purchased a wide margin - which does have the corrections you mentioned however Job-2 had a good line of blankness running through 6 lines of text in verse 3. Schuyler stated that they would correct this. Just wondering...

    Thanks for the detailed review!! If you have to choose one between two(black letter 36gsm, red letter 28gsm), which one would you like? On the website, now they sell both. Thanks!

    • @faithtowalkministries132
      @faithtowalkministries132  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They both have their pros and cons. The original 36 gsm paper is nice - thicker and you don’t have to be as careful with it. On the flip side, the 28 gsm paper is real nice, because it make the Bible thinner and lighter to carry. I would chose the red letter, 28 gsm paper just because I do hold and carry mine when I read, and also for preaching and teaching.

    Firstly, I like your channel, and I like your videos. I can appreciate that you may not want to hear this, however, I feel obligated to share this information with you. Interesting interpretation of the Jerusalem cross, however, I think it's probably in relation to the Knights of the Equestrian Order, ie. Vatican, ie. Pope, ie. Satan. The fact that Schuyler Bibles use this symbol is the main reason why I haven't bought one yet. I appreciate that the production quality is great, the ornamental drop caps look awesome but I don't like them putting symbols on there that seem to be representative of Satan. Also, I hope this commentary doesn't hinder your enjoyment of this fine quality Bible. But let's remember that Satan broke bread with Jesus. He's always close. And I think many, possibly all, Bible publishers have been infiltrated by Satan. Personally I'm still considering getting a Canterbury, and if I do, that's how I will interpret that symbol, to help me remember that Satan is a cunning creature. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_the_Holy_Sepulchre

    • @faithtowalkministries132

      evo37 When reaching out to Schuyler about the Jerusalem cross - this is their response.
      Received this email from Evangelical Bible
      Hi Aaron,
      Thanks for contacting us. Great question. The Jerusalem Cross has been used throughout history by Christians since the first Crusade. Here are the most common explanations for its symbolism:
      -The Jerusalem cross represents Christ's command to spread the Gospel around the world (the four corners of the world), a mission that started in Jerusalem. It was part of the coat of arms of the short-lived Jerusalem Kingdom (1099-1203 AD).
      -A combination of the Old Testament teachings (the four Tau Crosses) and the New Testament teachings (the four Greek Crosses)
      -The four evangelists, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, with Christ in the center.
      -Christianity (central cross) broadcast by missionaries to the four corners of the world.
      -Five crosses representing the five wounds of Jesus on the cross (small crosses for the hands and feet, and the large central cross for the spear wound in His side).
      The Cross (not specifically the Jerusalem Cross) is central to the Christian faith, and Schuyler wanted to include it on their Bibles. This particular cross was chosen for its beauty and symbolism, though not one of those meanings mentioned above was at the forefront.
      Hope that helps!
      I will always go with my explanation.

    • @evo3734
      @evo3734 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@faithtowalkministries132 Fair enough, and thank you for taking the time. Still though, the Jerusalem cross is symbolic of the Vatican. As for the the Greek Cross, as far as I've researched, it symbolizes some ancient fire god, or is used to symbolize Orpheus. Nothing Christian about that, and nothing related to Jesus Christ, in my opinion. I'm sure that Schuyler Bibles has some genuine Christians working there, but at the same time, Satan was in the garden of Eden, and Satan was able to tempt and to deceive in a very cunning way. If you do a search on either the Jerusalem Cross or the Greek Cross, it seems non-Christian symbology is returned. Schuyler also uses a symbol on their hard back Canterbury that they claim was inspired by art work in the Canterbury Cathedral, that symbol is also represented in the Cambridge Topaz, and it's also a symbol of an American Muslim organization. Zondervan has an Islamic symbol on one of the NASB covers. Tyndale Publishing's NLT translation has the same Islamic symbol to represent their translation. LCBP's logo looks like a mosque. The point I'm making is that, in my opinion, many or maybe all Bible publishers have been infiltrated by Satan, and as a Christian, I'm sharing my observations. Let's also remember that the Harper Collins publishes the Satanic Bible, and both Zondervan and Thomas Nelson are under that publisher. Anyway, best wishes. Stay vigilant.

      @@evo3734 I appreciate your comments and your diligence in sharing what you found in a respectful way! I, on the other hand, tend to shoot from the hip. I think you are correct in your assessments. Pretty disgusting how they take something Holy and make it profane...in disguise, of course as they “Christianize” a satanic symbol. Even before I read the comments I was thinking, why would they ruin a piece of fine leather with that fake cross. Why wouldn’t they just use the Christian cross and be done with it?
