How much mileage fore Apache?
I have ridden both the bikes and i can say that gixxer is everyone's machine, one would immediately feel comfortable on it and start cornering, whereas 160 4v will keep you puzzled and it would want you to think and plan your move, and that is what i liked about it, it's very engaging. Gixxer is like Yamaha m1 in motogp and 160 4v is like the honda of Marquez..
So bro which one is better? I m actually planning to buy one and hv to choose between these two

but never felt like there a need for gear position indicator

Honestly, the Gear position indicator on gixxer has really spoiled me to the point I forget which gear am I in other bikes without the indicator. Like I get surprised when that happens like wtf.
That's for beginners as they downshift more than required in emergency and traffic situation and not having a slipper clutch also increases problems...so hope u understand from their view point

The Gixxer has genuine street fighter lines, unlike the turtle neck head sticking out of the tank as on the tvs, Vibrations are an unforgivable sin. TVS is getting there, but with EVs right around the corner, they seem to remain in the rear view mirror on the aesthetics department.

Right now I owned APACHE RTR 160 4V,,,,
In past I had gixxer ,,, both bikes are very strong nature of its class,,, but apache is the ☝️ one of the best compared than gixxer and fz , hornet etc... because the machine is lively got rough character but it shows quite... its like a beast but humble... I really love both,,,but apache is slightly got upper hand on performance and fuel efficiency,,,, in India we must concentrate on fuel ⛽️ efficiency right!!!

Saying contradictory things. First said apache more refined then later said more vibey at highway. Said apache not polished on highway does 100 at 8k whereas gixxer does at 7k but then said apache better on highway. Said apache is race tuned clinical in corner then said gixxer better in corner. At conclusion said gixxer stronger then said apache better. Pretty confusing. 🤔😐

The on road price of Apache Fi abs is 1.28L in my locality but gixxer is at 1.2L. So for me gixxer is the bike to go😊

Current rtr 160 is eauipped with gear possition and led and abs by default. If want to compare compare both the 2019/2020 edition. If the bike is not available come to WB bengal the updated rtr160 is already in roads from ladt 3 months.

I do feel the same about LED headlights! They are utterly unnecessary and just because someone says it looks premium everyone is now boarding the ship! The bright white lights are just not good for the eyes of the others as they can blind someone say just for a second but hey! Even a second is enough to cause an accident!!
It's not only about style but LED headlamps provide a very clear and bright view of the road. I own a honda grazia and I sure like the LED lamps compared to those outdated halogens.
Rtr 200 and 160 with stock led and abs already running in kolkata from last 3 months. So no point of this silly review with a older model where new model is easy available in kolkata atleast... Led headlight + abs 160 rtr is available even before launch of new gixxer.

@@rastafariauz8841 bro the difference between LED lamp & normal helogen lamp will evident in foggy night conditions.....with LED lamp you will always find difficult to see road...while halogen bulb lamp makes better visibility than LED lamp.....LED might soothe your ears but in practically halogen bulbs are far better than LED lamp at night....this is reality

How is apache 160 4v for 5.3 ft tall?
U will feel a Bit discomfort to move backwards nd toe to toe traffic bt it will get used to it... avoid choosing 200ns or 150ns for that height... seat height upto 800mm is managable for 5'3 guy.. initially u will some difficulty bt u will master it eventually.. no worries

I dont know if this problem is sorted or not, but when the rtr 160 4v was launched there's this silly omission in speedo. The carb variant had a gear position indicator whereas the fi didn't. It's so lame that they can simply give a gear position indicator for fi variant too, but don't know why tvs did that mistake.... 🤔

A proper LED setup can be awesome,but such setups cost as much as the full front end of the bikes in this segment.So manufacturers tend to provide a very inferior LED to attract customers
