If anyone is watching this that wants to upgrade their UCA but don’t want the ksp, the Rancho UCA with moog ball joints fit on 04-08 f150s even though they say they don’t. I put them on my truck last month and they work great.
@@JayThompson25 Thank you. The market for UCA's for the 04-08 f150 is relatively thin in terms of reasonable prices. The ranchos are the cheapest "name brand" UCA without having to go to something like KSP. Not saying that KSP is bad but most people will have a little more trust in the brand MOOG and Rancho. On stage 3 motorsports website the Ranchos are a similar price to the KSP at $361.00.
@@chasewatter1581 they also sell them on summit racing which is where I bought them. Stage 3 didn’t have them in stock at the time which sucks because they have a better price.
I just put 2 inch leveling kit on mine wish I would’ve saw this before hand 😂 love n learn I could see how they wair out real quick at such a steep angle I’ve always owned chevys this my first ford hopefully it’ll be fine 😂👍
Did you ever have any problems with the tires rubbing? i know since the tubular UCA’s are a little beefier i’ve heard people having problems with them rubbing while turning
I actually had this issue. I’m running 275/65r20s with a 3” level on my 07 f150 4x4. Everyone says that you can run 275/65s without wheel spacers and there’s no rubbing, which is true. However, I upgraded my UCA’s to these and it now rubs at full lock, while it didn’t with OEM UCA’s. Had to get 1.5” wheel spacers. Now no rubbing at all. However, want tho upgrade to 295/65s
does anyone know if this will work on a leveled Ford Expedition? I have a 2012 and am in need of new control arms but can't find any specifically for the Expedition...
Just a quick question whenever you upgraded to a bigger wheel and tire size did you switch out your brake calipers and rotors or do you just have the stock ones?
I've got an 07 and I just want to know if you know if windshield washer fluid being inoperable is common. And no, I'm not running dry. I'd assume best place to start is fuses but I'm not sure if it's worse than that.
I had a problem with mine not working and it happened to be the battery being bad. Mine was a unique situation due to the positive post separating from the battery, but you could have a weak battery.

I pinned this for anyone else to see as well!

Are they marketed for 12th gen? Do you have a link? I’m having trouble finding them.
New Moog 81118 coils and Bilstein 5100 shocks are a nice upgrade too. Set 5100's in the center position to be level and not nose-high.
This video popped up 15mins after I ordered them off Amazon 😅✊🏿 I guess I made a good choice
Super 👌 neat buddy good video Jay God bless you 🙏 my friend
We used the icon uppers on our 2006. Great upgrade

Beefy! I need me those! 🤙
Can you use them if you don't have a leveled truck?
Yes

Stock has always been fine, I put drilled and slotted rotors on my Black truck but mainly just a cosmetic upgrade that also has some functionality

Blinker switch is faulty

i have a 2008 f150 with a the RC 6 inch lift, these work on a lift too? not just leveled?
If you’re still running stock uppers I don’t see why it wouldn’t work, but it just depends on the angles after the lift
Do I need a alignment after?
Yes, you will need an alignment!
Yee 🙌
