Great video! I use a Blackstone 36" in my mobile food business! It works wonders. I notice you use one set of utensils for both raw and cooked products. To avoid cross contamination, I have a "raw" set of utensils and a "finished" set.
Great vid Mike! I'm so jealous of that flat-top grill! Perfect for diner burgers, philly cheese steaks, chopped cheese sandwich, etc! Thank you for showing us your way of cooking. Much appreciated! AL
A key benefit to your putting the rice in the refrigerator overnight is the effect that it has on your blood sugar after you refrigerate it... Somehow when the rice is cooled down it has some sort of chemical reaction that makes it for lack of a better word carb friendly in a way thus making it healthier for diabetics and the same goes for pasta as well but it looked awesome I have definitely got to get me a Blackstone 36 inch!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
This looks great. At first I thought that you were using far too little rice, considering all the other ingredients, but by cooking on a wide flat surface, I guess a LOT of water was cooked out. I would suggest scrambling a couple of eggs in there and throwing in a handful of frozen peas, because that's commonly how I've seen it done, and bright green peas and orange diced carrot makes the dish more colorful. And by the way, to everyone complaining about "contamination", everything on this grill is contaminating everything else, there is no way that changing your tools would help in any way. It's all going in the same bowl and into your mouth. The only protection against illness is proper cooking time and temperature. EVERYTHING he cooked here was cooked enough to kill any contaminants or "germs". We worry about contamination when we are talking about food served raw. For instance, we wouldn't cut lettuce for salad on the same cutting board as meat for stew, because the contaminants will be eaten, UNCOOKED in the salad. You can't NOT contaminate items in the same dish, so you must instead cook to a minimum safe temperature, THAT is how we stay safe.
Way to go on setting these idiots straight on crosscontamination. They have no idea what it takes to cook a dish properly. I love how everyone on TH-cam has to automatically jump up and tell everyone how damn stupid they are for the way they make their video. It would be nice for once to hear someone say how good a job they did on their video. It just amazes me how damn smart these people become that haven't made their own videos but they can run someone else down. I would like to tell them to shut the heck up for once. Lol.
@@jaymarvin5737 You're an idiot and I hope you're not a professional cook. "They have no idea what it takes to cook a dish properly"..Yeah, a lot of us do know what it takes a hell of a lot more than you Jay! Sanitation is key to not getting people sick. You want to post video's on TH-cam be prepared to be called out.
tell me if im wrong here..... but im guessing youre both american asian or something, none of my friends from anywhere (including asia) refer to the continent theyre from.......im australian so its kinda stuck that way, but people in the US dont say theyre orth american, people in the UK dont say theyre from europe......it was weird to hear you both say this, nothing wrong with it, it just stood out alot to me
It doesn’t matter where I come from if it’s not from an Asian country or if I’m “Asian American “ I’m simply saying , it’s not authentic Asian fried rice but if I was invited to this man’s home to eat that I would be pleased because he did a pretty good job .
Ufff u got hit left and right brother the oil, chrimp, utensils.im sure its amazing food.these people dont appreciate real cooking keep cooking brother God bless.
Thank you for the well done video. Might do somethings a little different but no need to kick you about it. Have orderd the seasoning you told us about. Can't wait to get them and get it on, Thanks. Steve.
Nice job! My wife just gave me the new 22" Blackstone, can't wait to get some fried rice going. Nice touch with the oyster sauce and spinach! I have a big bag of shrimp in the freezer that isn't going to be around long now!
lol those hate comments,, bet you guys dont cook much, anyways good work on the oyster sauce n sesame oil, thats what most chinese ppl use herei n asia. and overnight rice is the only way to get your fried rice coated. it could be better if you start using a giant wok. cause of the flame. but the grill is not bad for ur veges n meat i guessbut stir fry always wok
Yum and double yum! Looks fantastic! Not exactly sure how I stumbled across your channel but very glad I did. Subscribed after seeing just this one video. Can't wait to see what else you make. Me thinks you know your way around that grill!
Mike, ignore the haters. Looks good. Traditional fried rice has eggs, but you don't need it. Put whatever you want to in your fried rice. Only suggestion is the cross contamination and cook the shrimp last cuz it will be too tough. Great video.
On the chicken try the Plow Boys BBQ Chicken rub. You can get it at Amazon or Academy. I suggest to cook the Chicken first and pull it and put in a pan covered until the rest is cooked then add later.
The table is great-very helpful and i use it all the time-sometimes just having foil pans on the table but over the side of the grill so the burner still keeps things warm-worth it for a hundred dollars-it does not get hot
Checkout new video! link in top of the description!
where are you at Mike? OC?

Papa George Chronicles he even said to clean after cooking the chicken. On top of the minutes edited out, odds are things were cleaned like he said.
Lol, he'd be fined from the health department.
I just put the spatulars on the heat before plating the food, got my buisness localy so if anyone would get sick it would be bad for buisness.
"The Grillfather" That is awesome

This looks SOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!
I love fried rice!
Hey there Mike’s Diner,
Yes, save time on the grill by preparing.
That mix looks good.
Thx for sharing the ingredients.
Looks great! But cook Shrimp befroe chicken? Shrimp takes likes 4 minutes. Chicken a little longer.
I was thinking the same thing. Glad you mentioned it.
Julie Lewis Married to the veg while the chicken cooks sounds pretty flavorful
getting the flavor of the shrimp in the veggies, its a trick.
Shrimp becomes done once it turns pink and the raw chicken should have been cooked aside to prevent cross contamination
@@Danny-yv8bq and then never toouch the 2 ever, couse fak could 2nd guess r selvs 4 ever rite?

You're Asian-American and probably haven't got a clue as to they cook authentic Asian Foods and it's not done on a Flat Grill ! They use WOKS !!!
There's a blackstone grill for every chef wanna be.
Wow. That is an epic amount of food.
Great job Bro. Appreciate the recipes. Thank you
The shrimp will be tough. That's the last item you cook.
Right it'll be rubbery should always be last in any dish
I was thinking the same thing..5 min shrimp is done
Prepping the food doesn't save you time. It just reallocates it.
Fantastic meal, healthy...
Ufff u got hit left and right brother the oil, chrimp, utensils.im sure its amazing food.these people dont appreciate real cooking keep cooking brother God bless.

Nice job! My wife just gave me the new 22" Blackstone, can't wait to get some fried rice going. Nice touch with the oyster sauce and spinach! I have a big bag of shrimp in the freezer that isn't going to be around long now!
Why did you cook the shrimp before the chicken, isn't that overcooking them?
E P think he started the shrimpski then let it finish in the veg, bloody brilliant I think

Yum and double yum! Looks fantastic! Not exactly sure how I stumbled across your channel but very glad I did. Subscribed after seeing just this one video. Can't wait to see what else you make. Me thinks you know your way around that grill!

No one in the history of the world ever bought a 28" Blackstone Griddle who did not wish that they had bought the 36" Blackstone Griddle instead.
I knew a short order cook in Pittsburgh that cooked like that it was amazing to watch him
First shrimps then chicken. If I don't have black place. Any options. Your are awesome
We were just talking about doing a lobster Thai fried rice video this weekend at thegriddleguys. Now I want to do it even more. Good looking rice...
Πολλοί καλό μπράβο
mike, that was a great great job!
Very Helpful!!! I am a new griddle griller!👍
To minimize oil, have a bottle of water along with a big lid so you can steam the veggies also bokchoy is a little hard core for fried rice.
Delicious 🙏
How do you like the surround table? does it get hot?
The table is great-very helpful and i use it all the time-sometimes just having foil pans on the table but over the side of the grill so the burner still keeps things warm-worth it for a hundred dollars-it does not get hot
