But I get like 10 minutes in and realise it’s not really that interesting haha but that’s just me thinking it’s not I suppose rather than what others might get from it. It’s a relatively simple process I guess, it’s not like 7 hours of content or anything like some mix tutorials

I watched this quite a few times now just had to leave a comment to tell you how amazing this is. For us 40+ year olds growing up in high school in the early 90s playing this game at the arcades is mega nostalgia for us. KI was THE arcade game that dominated the scene back then. Hearing the theme music and the “ultraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa combooooooo” and “c-c-combo breakerrrr” was just mesmerizing. Your take on this theme was amazing, I love every note and touch you played. It accents everything perfectly, and then the very end riffs - got us all in the feels my friend. That character select music is so brutal, this is a 10/10 my friend. Bravo!

Anyone who remembers the original game in the arcade can tell you that whatever speakers they installed in the games arcade booth was crazy compared to other game units. The speakers were LOUD, sounded clear, and had some serious bass to them. You couldn’t walk by the machine without hearing the music blasting and the announcer saying. ‘Killllerrrr instinctttt”
There was a Killer Instinct arcade machine in my small town’s old pizza joint, I used to hang out in there all the time as a kid. The owner let me play on it as much as I wanted and it kept me from having to go back home on days I didn’t want to. Still get a bit emotional every time I hear it this song, and it is one the first songs I learned on guitar when I picked that up later. Thanks for this version. It’s freaking awesome! I was 10yrs old, got admitted to hospital due to an asthma attack back in 94, I had only just got Killer Instinct as gift and didn't want my brothers to play it, so took the cartridge with me. Once I recovered I had to stay in kids ward for a few days for observation, to my surprise there was a games room on the ward for all the sick kids. I told the other kids that I had Killer Instinct, man we played for hours, winner stayed on, such a core memory for me...
