Perfectly said!!!!! That's what I have always thought of him as well. He's not just a one trick pony highlight reel shredder. His shredding is properly placed in spots along with rhythms and melodies. That's what makes him so elite in my opinion.

@@gouedallica nope. He sounds just like this live actually better. Seen him 6 times live. By far the best live guitarists I've seen. He really is just ridiculously talented.
I'm not saying you're wrong here but as a matter of fact "practice practice practice" is a little bit overrated and being gone extreme with by most of guitar players, that's why most of them give up on guitar convinced practice isn't getting them anywhere which is true, simply because you need to know where you're headed and most importantly HOW to get there the fastet/smartest way possible before you even begin to think of warming your hands up for practicing, in order for you not to be mindlessly practicing given exercises without paying any attention to your technique which is actually the thing that makes your playing happen, and in case you're not lucky enough to be randomly doing it right, you're not getting anywhere again, like most guitar players nowadays. So stop wasting your time if you're a struggling self taught guitarist and look for Mike philippov or Tom hess on TH-cam because they're Gods not teachers, or look for a good teacher to help you face to face, plenty out there..

Heard this the first time today after a YT Music auto-generated playlist for Angel Vivaldi put me on. I was tired on my lunch break but pretty much played it on repeat the whole time.
Got me so pumped up that I shaved almost 25% off my average time for installing a ballistic strike plate in a vehicle door and set a shop record. lol
The energy of any song that Andy creates is consistent and carries a certain mood to it. This one screams badassery without being thuggish, like The Protagonist has appeared, and he is having *none* of it. Spot on.

AJ is truly in the league of his own. I really can't think of a modern guitar player that has such great tone Melody and technicality as he does.
And then to put the icing on the cake this guy puts out incredible tracks. I just haven't heard any Masters like this lately... It's like he's the only one doing it.
