I play the cello and I have to do the cello part by myself. My orchestra in my school is very small, we only have a few members. I have another cello buddy, but things are complicated so I may have to do it solo 🤧
whyamionly6 Exactly! It’s so easy too! My conductor only chose it because we are playing Hopak and Arlington Sketches, some very difficult pieces for 7th graders. Also, what makes it worse, is that our real conductor is on maternity leave, so we have a retired string teacher. What’s worse about that is that she will be going on tour in Europe before our next concert, so we will get a DIFFERENT conductor, who will want us to play notes differently.

It can get hard to carry all of the lower strings-
