Eileen Pasillas I don't always have time to practice so I listen to this while I am doing my other tasks. Also I could tell you were joking because there is not 40 hours in a day. There is 24.
So I'm going to get a viola soon do any of you fellow viola players have any suggestions on pieces I could purchase? Or any composer you could recommend?
Svt IcyAir great point, you know what I wish Richard Meyer did at the end of this piece, since this is the dragon hunter, he should have made the last note, a powerful long note, with a giant crescendo.
bro i feel that...im supposed to be practicing the viola part to this and i was curious to what the whole thing actually sounded like and im in total awe of how horrible my school orchestra is lmao
I WATCHED THIS SO MANY TIMES!!!!! my friends were holding my mouth at school so I would stop whistling it but I still did it (I play cello) I recomend doing orchastra so you can learn this song
It seems that at the end of the song the knight fails to kill the dragon and gets killed by it or the dragon was defeated and was killed by the knight. 🐉
FURIOUS GAMER that’s how the song wants you to think. My orchestra teacher told us that the song is about a knight trying to hunt down a dragon, and in the end, you decide either the knight dies or the dragon dies
To me it sounds like both of them killed eachh other because it goes from the cello[dragon] to the violins[knight] playing[fighting] back and forth until they both play together and stop together[death] sorry if your a bass or viola i dont know theyre parts ima cello
0:34 as a viola i felt so special when we got this part because the violins always get all the attention and get all the solos on most of the songs we played. Violas are seriously underrated

I remember playing this in middle school. I can still play it by heart! As simple as it is, I enjoy it very much and Dragonhunter will forever have a special place in my little musical heart.
