As someone who has been gaming for coming up to 30 years, no game has come close to how many times I've replayed Star Ocean Till the End of Time. It's in the name, I will play it until the end of time lol. Completed it well over 200 times at this point in my life. It's my comfort food.
@@stevenrohttis4202 I played for about 400 hours on the PS Store version and only crashed a handful of times. I did notice a pattern of existing the menu quickly and then opening the big map triggered it rather often. So if you're fond of it and don't need to rely on it for traversing, I had barely no issues after! Get back on it lad!
Darn. I was hoping for a mention of Star Ocean: the Second Story. Especially R. BUT y’all made some great picks! Super fun to see everyone’s input on their most replayed game. Also excellent collab!
@@TheLegendarySwordMaster Hahaha yes! I've been told that and apparently Gary Oldman. Neither of which I had ever thought about until it was pointed out 😂
My personal favorite JRPG to replay is Star Ocean The Second Story R. If you invest into learning how the game's item creation system works there's so many different ways you can break the game. I also love the fact that depending on who you choose to have in your party you can see new private actions on each play through plus there's 99 different endings you can get too. This is the only JRPG that I've ever beaten and then immediately started a new file for because it's just that good. Just typing this is making me want to start a new play through lol.
Haha why thank you! But I'm no hero... just a guy with a sword traversing through time over and over again who also makes videos. 😉 Thanks for watching!
Great video, I am new to this channel but I have been a long time watcher of both Miss Bubbles and Taylor from Gaming Shelf, both are awesome family friendly channels!
I've been absolutely loving playing persona4 on my PlayStation Vita!!! It is the perfect game for a handheld, and it is the perfect handheld for that game !
great picks by all of you! i have a few Jrpgs i like to replay but the one i want to mention here is fire emblem 3 houses. i love that game to death and i still have some routes left to complete. it might be my most played Jrpg on switch. its that good!
Definitely Suikoden 2 for me. I played it first with the team I thought was the best, then with the team that is objectively the best. Afterwards I finished the game simply with the characters that I liked and later I used different setups, like using characters with the same weapon type, the same nationality, the same eye color, the weakest, only beasts and so on.
I was thinking "For me Red/Blue and Gold/Silver/Crystal are the best replayable jrpg I played the most, It was nice to see Red/Blud being mentioned in this cool colaboration
respect to justthegems and gamingshelf for naming the greatest games in the genre! femtrooper suggested another banger: gen1 pokemon is another classic.
My most replayed RPG games are an tied between Paper Mario 64 & The Thousand Year Door. Now I love many Mario RPG'S. Well more so the earlier ones till the 2010's where they went downhill. Except for the Mario + Rabbids games because those are the only good ones around that timeline. But IMO, Paper Mario 64 & TTYD are the best Mario RPG'S that I've played and that's mainly because of there replayability. I love there worlds, the characters, the adventure, the way there gameplay works, the battle systems, the partners, the chapters, the structure, the layouts, the music, etc. I just love everything about what the Paper Mario use to represent and what I'm looking forward of playing an RPG. An cozy & simple, yet still compelling & challenging game. No other RPG'S has something like this. It's funny, it's heartwarming, the battle system are an good balance between action & strategy, I love there worlds & how it mixed platforming so well, the gameplay was perfect to me and the list goes on. Now which one I liked better. Well that's tricky because both have there up & downs, but they still have many higher ups that triumphs the lows. I might like TTYD an little bit more. But 64 is still frickin good though and I hope that game gets an remake treatment as TTYD had. Also aside from DQ6 & DQ7, I would almost put every Dragon Quest games as my replay RPG games as well. Mainline or spinoffs. Like the Mario RPG's, there simple and cozy, yet still gives you plenty of compelling & challenging moments that feels right. But what makes the makes them even better is that it never loses it's formula that the series is known for. Combined with the intriguing worlds, the adventure, the charmed, the traditional turned-based style that's still works even to this day and everything else, there an reason Dragon Quest is still going strong and are great friendly beginners for RPG'S.
Wow never thought someone would praise ff V to that degree. I agree 100% with davidvinc, it's one of the most underrated classic ff. I would argue its on the same level as ff VI which everyone seems to think as the best classic ff.
from the list itself i agree with the mana game, tactics and the dragon quest game. trials of mana was already an amazing snes game. the remake is amazing. most replayed for me -ff8 -ff9 -Lufia 2 in terms of what i replayed most. i still come back to ff9 sometimes and lufa 2. wish that would have gotten a better remake. but they made the same move as with ff7. from turn based to action based combat. my new all time favorite JRPG is dragon quest 11. the characters are amazing. the story and gameplay where the best dragon quest ever had.
Final Fantasy 12 for me. Replayed countless times. I just loooove hanging out in the ff12 world. i always rotate camera for sightseeing whenever entering new world, its so beautiful. Dungeons are awesome, Musics are super banger, Fran is super hot, Summons are super cool.
That's what I love about Dragon Quest as an franchise. Whether your playing the classic ones like 3, 4 & 5 or the modern ones like 8 & 11 or spinoffs like Builders & Heroes, the series is always gonna be an good time because there the most comfort & cozy RPG series to play, while also they can still be compelling & challenging. It doesn't need to go that much deep and all convoluted that'll make your hands cramps or get bored by all the nonsensical shakespearean talk and complicated talk that alot of RPG'S suffered from. Especially in this modern era. Dragon Quest is simple, charming & challenging, yet still cozy & easy to relax. Another one I can think of is the Mario RPG'S. More so the good ones like Super Mario RPG or the first 2 Paper Mario games or Mario + Rabbids.
I completely agree with Femtropper here. Pokemon are the best games for replay. I've beat Lets Go 3 times, Sword 4 times, Shining Pearl 3 times, and Violet 3 times as well. And I'm sure I'll do it again.
Not a fan of the unnecessary language from 'chickenfillets', so definitely will not be checking out that channel. Come on man, kids watch these videos.
Thank you for including me in your first collab! So cool to see which games everyone enjoys to replay 😄
Thank you for joining, great picks all around.

Out of all the games in the Video: Fire Emblem Three House is my Favorite and it’s in my Top 10 VideoGames of All Time.

The JRPG games that I’ve mostly replayed are Final Fantasy X and Kingdom hearts 2 I’ve played both on different systems and always have fun.
