For a second I thought this was Project Farm: " What happens when you weld with a sparkler? Let's find out."

I typed this in "using sparklers as a welding rod" and I am happy that you delivered.

Thanks for sharing this. At the start I thought they'd be great for thin tube sections! Unfortunately no solution to my burning holes in tubes. Was a fun video and saved me from burning my workshop.

Haha awesome idea. Pretty cool how your welds/welder continue to sparkle even after you’re done welding.

Thanks for Uploading I've always wondered what would happen if you use a sparkler rod instead a Welding rod 😄

Too many amps. I tried this and they seem to like running at 20-25 amps the best.

Maybe next time try some of those big sparklers...TNT Fireworks is actually based here in my hometown but local ordnance restricts when they can be sold locally. So we can buy those welding rods only 2 or 3 weeks in the summer and a couple of weeks in the winter.

D Rickard I chuckled when you referred to them as welding rods lol. I think if these were a little thicker it might have worked a little but they burnt away too fast. I bet the thicker welding rods you mentioned would work. I just might have to look for some and try it out ;)

Brandon Lund looking back at the video as soon as 'flu' broke off the end you can see the wire kind of disintegrate.

Those are probably made of aluminum considering how easy those tacks broke. Try it with an ac machine on aluminum and give it a shot

I wonder what happens if you crank it all up to maximum?
Can you make the WHOLE sparkling layer ignite at the same time along the entire rod? ;D

I might have to get more and find out! That sounds like fun!

I welded a trailer hitch to the frame of my pickup with sparkles. Being in a hurry and not enough time to clean the rusted frame they burned right in. I need to rent a car hauler tomorrow. Should I pay for the extra insurance ? LOL.
