My friends never had the ones i needed so i could test it and i didn't wanted to waste money on buying used ones just to find out it ll not work. Even though i tested one GPU from the list and it didn't work. So i just gave up on gaming on laptop lol

Alright guys it works but it doesn't look too good and your gonna have to plug your laptop into your Ethernet cable, honesty though I think it's better to just save your money and sell your laptop to buy a newer one cause any real upgrades GPU wise are gonna cost over $300.

hi, i followed your videos and was inspired. i have a lenovo g580 with 3rd gen i7, upgraded to 16 gb ram & connected a rtx 2070 super and results were amazing. i got 100 to 80 fps on an external monitor on ultra hd settings. just a tip, dont disable pxe setting in the bios, just disable the switchable graphics.

Pro Tip: ditch the optical drive - no one uses it anymore - and pass the cable inside it (you will need to remove the entire back plastic cover). You can also store the cable inside it when you're out and about with your laptop. Remove the optical drive's plastic cover and with a bit of imagination use it to cover the hole while not using the eGPU. Thank me later.

laptops are good for portability and if u wanna sit in one place and game for all day in the same price as a i3 4gb ram laptop for normal work if u pay a little bit like 50-100 dollars more u can build a pc with 8gb or 16gb a 2gb vram graphics card or 4gb vram like 1050 ti or rx 570 and gt 1030 and a i5 or ryzen 5 with 4 cores or 6 cores

Try to change graphics or display settings to igfx or sg in bios, gpu is conflicting the internal gpu thats why blank screen

laptops are good for portability and if u wanna sit in one place and game for all day in the same price as a i3 4gb ram laptop for normal work if u pay a little bit like 50-100 dollars more u can build a pc with 8gb or 16gb a 2gb vram graphics card or 4gb vram like 1050 ti or rx 570 and gt 1030 and a i5 or ryzen 5 with 4 cores or 6 cores

@Jey Eilinger as far as I've tested performance is fine. I played euro truck simulator 2, walking dead season 4 pubg and they are working fine . I ordered exp gdc dock,as soon as it reaches me I'll try rx 570 gpu with it..
