I sometimes think about giving up on "the hunt" (it's the way my gradfather talks about looking for a partner; he called it "the hunt" because for him hunting an animal [he used to hunt deer and hoggs with his father] and finding a partner requires patience and knowing the right time to act, skills that one develops only with experience)
One of the few friends I have has a very easy time with girls but only for short term stuff; he tried to teach me his "game techniques" but it felt so artificial, like I'd be creating a character and deceiving the other person instead of being myself; I have no interest in one night stands.
I have never even held hands with a girl in my life but if I ever have the chance, I want something meaningful.
One way I found to deal with loneliness is practicing martial arts, running in the park and drawing (manga is my favorite style, but I also practice realism).
Those hobbies require me to wake up early so I have time to workout, take a shower and go to work, then I go to university and during the night I practice art until I feel tired and go to sleep.

When it comes to relationships introverts are about loyalty. If an introvert loves you they will not betray your trust, even if they have alcohol in there system.

I have an introverted boyfriend but whenever I feel sad... he always finds a way to make me feel better, I seriously love him so much.

I'm an introvert, and I always try to help my partner in rough times. I just wish my partner was as careful with details as me. My partner never notices when I'm not at my best because my thoughts are hardly ever spoken. I just wish there was some way for me to talk about how I'm feeling without feeling like a problem that can't be solved.
Sorrel leaf ive got a thing like that where i rarely talk about my issues but i've done my best to change that by just asking for the space to be able to talk about it and feeling like im cared for because i am able to be cared for.
As you said, you're there for your partner for when they're feeling down. So know that it's reciprocated as well. That your partner is there for you and wants to help you with any problem that you're having. Problems and bad feelings that are kept inside never help the relationship. So be sure that you're able to communicate and know that you're there for eachother. I've gone through similar situations, so I'm talking from experience. All the best!
just because we are in introverted doesn't mean we cannot be assertive and not allow ourselves to be door mats ever!! never consider yourself a problem! you are as important as anyone else. learn to speak up! be direct and to the point and don't let yourself be afraid of rejection! this is self esteem work.....xo

I was in my childhood like this, i tried to make people happy , being the clown etc but i always got alot of hate. Later i developed a personality disorder because of it called Antisocial and BPD. I can remind myself on the past and to know what went wrong. Its sad, becquse nowadays i hate 99% of humanity and it wouldnt even bother me if you or other commenters here would die on my side. I was very fragile at a young age now iam the opposite.

I didn't even used to know what an introvert was and being surrounded by extroverts, I always felt like a wierdo or a 'wrong' person. You know i had litteraly only one friend and she was so toxic, but couldn't let her because she was the only person i had the courage to talk and everybody loved her and didn't know how she really was, so none would trust me. But now i have a large group of friend that i know since 3 year, and 4 of them that are with me all the time. Psych2Go if it were that easy... Not to mention that I, for example, don't have a crush or an interest at the moment, and yet I would like to have a partner. Finding one if you're an introvert is... difficult, to say the least. I'm not the most picky guy, but most girls around me just wouldn't work well in a good relationship. I have yet to find someone I'd like to spend a good portion of my lifetime with, unfortunately.
@@elu9780 Exactly! It's pretty difficult. My last relationship lasted 5 years... the last year of which was pretty rocky. Then she (extrovert) left me and started a family with someone else about 7 months after our break up. It's been over 2 years and I just got over it a few months ago. I'm not interested in being with anyone in particular right now... and yet, I miss having that (relationship) connection with someone. I don't feel that connection with the few friends I have... but I don't like meeting new people, soooo there is that problem.

Me and My bf are both introverts. It is so great! We almost never fight and when we do it’s about 5 min, we go away and ”cool off” and when we come back we are best friends agin ^^ I love him so much!
I recently got along with my friend who is hella introvert...and I'm an introvert as well. One of my close friends who is a professional psychologist and was the only person to know about us to be getting together warned me to not get along with another introvert being an introvert myself, as two introverts end up feeling lonely. That broke my heart and led to manyy doubts and fears💔..but I got along with him anyhow...and it's gotten a lot better. We do face problems in communication, but we got aware of that and now will work on this and becoming bestest friends first. We are quite different from each other too(due to culture and our personalities), so that's also the reason...but we love each other so we'll fight every difference together❤❤

Im a complete introvert and i was recently in a very long distance relationship until my significant other decided to leave me because i put them so far ahead of me on my priorities or even myself. She thought it would be better for me but im so depressed now because i was so obsessed wuth her.
I've been with my girlfriend for 5+ years now and I am 23... we just got married and are happily in love. We are excecting a child and the two most important things I could say for partners (introverts OR extroverts) is to always COMMUNICATE properly about your feelings and DON'T fall alseep mad at each other.

In school, there was this one guy who I didn’t really take notice to until a year later. He was quiet and his friend group described him as an introvert. I’m an introvert myself too, so I don’t go out of my way to start conversations. Anyways, we ended up having a common interest: anime, AND our lockers were right across from each other. I barely knew about the guy a few months ago, but just from that start we really bonded. In general though, I’ve always found introverted guys to be the best kind of guys. They have so much depth to them, and aren’t obnoxiously loud like others. I’m sure you’ll find the perfect girl for you-it just takes time and patience :)

Point 5. Absolutely true. Nothing makes me happier than simply being with my girlfriend, cooking together, enjoying a good meal and a bottle of wine, snuggling on the couch, watching a movie and just being with her. We're both no thrill seekers who constantly need an adrenaline rush, like going parachuting together or having to travel to more and more exotic places. When we started dating and I asked her to suggest an activity to do together, she wanted to go hiking with me. We want a stable relationship together that can work in real life, especially since we're both already jokingly talking about starting a family, what our house would be like and so on.

That said, knowing how to ask the right way is very important.
Women communicate indirectly, and almost never say anything without there being a hidden meaning or message to it.
Even if you only hint at things in conversation, they'll get it right away.
Learn to read women by watching their faces (and body language), and you'll know if they're going to respond positively beforehand, so you'll only ask directly when you know they are.

Dj WolfDragon I agree. I'm an introvert and I love these but I'm also curious about how an extrovert or ambivert's experience is like. I feel like there has to be more to it than "social butterfly". Although I think the channel has been focusing on introverts cuz sometimes they're hit with a stigma that introverts are looked down upon in many different aspects of life so it seems they're trying to provide validation. But I would still like to learn more about ex and ambiverted people too

I'm dating an introvert and all these signs totally match up. We're in a long distance relationship but with him it doesn't seem like that. He's always there for me and support me like no one else... HE'S THE BEST!!!!
I am happy for my nature, girl i liked but quickly realized can't have changed the way i see. We became somewhat friends. I became hybrid of extrovert and introvert. Not afraid to confront but also have these qualities like in video. Sadly time pushes me and we're soon getting separated.
The only thing I find difficult as an introvert is dating but as I am an introvert I am not desperate or sad about it.
I have a question. I’m the definition of an introvert according to my family. However I have a very easy time speaking to others for the first time and am a great public speaker. However I am extremely nervous and anxious when meeting people a second or third etc time. And for all my public speaking experience have a difficult time maintains conversations unless I am directing/dominating the conversation which makes me really uncomfortable and usually ends with me hiding in the bathroom to recharge. Are there other introverts who also love to speak to others but are simultaneously afraid or nervous when it comes to speaking?
I think this can be super relatable. Sorry to hear that you face these challenges! My boyfriend makes a talented speaker just from the all the brilliant ideas he has in his head and had no trouble with public speaking as you mentioned. I think this has to do with social anxiety, because he's struggled with it for many years. I'm sure many of our fans have experienced this, too. My girlfriend is very introverted and I do long distance relationships. She recently had to take a year out of high school to focus on her mental health. Shes the best when it comes to caring for me. She always knows how I'm feeling. 😊

My boyfriend is an introvert person. And he's the best. He always notice little things about me. He's just so quiet yet he keeps me telling good things about me. He's a good listener as well. I love him so much. Plus, his patience is so long.
I am an introvert, and I can confirm that this is absolutely true. Am not in a relationship, but in my head, these things mentioned here...are exactly what I visualise, and sometimes...it is scary when I think of making it a reality.
