    Six points:
    1) someone who is comfortable with silence
    2) a good listener
    3) someone who values quality time
    4) someone who understands personal space and alone time
    5) a love for deep conversations
    6) someone who can take things slow at first

The good thing about being a introvert is that I don't really need much interaction with people, I'm not wasting my time trying to find someone who get me, I'll continue doing my things, improving myself and having fun without having to worry about others.

    • @aiiiia9971
      @aiiiia9971 ปีที่แล้ว +7

Yeah it does save a lot of trouble not having to worry as much about needing to be around people or needing to put yourself in situations where you will run into people just to feel ok. You do have to socialize sometimes for mental health reasons but a lot of times but it is good not having to seek it out as much or as often

Your comment gives me hope. May I ask, as two introverts, how did you both bond and or flirt with each other and let each other know that you like each other? I feel like I struggle with this and don’t know how to not be awkward. I feel pretty helpless since I’ve never had a partner and I feel like it’s because no one has been willing to give me a chance, they just label me as someone who is too quiet. And that can hurt how I view myself a lot.

I'm still in high school but ~4 years ago I made a friend who is extroverted. I don't remember how.
But he was my only friend. Then he made me talk to my crush last year when he found out she has lots in common with me.
Then me and her exchanged numbers and now we're friends. I don't know if it's a close friendship.

Introvert here. It took me a long time to discover that extroverts are the ones that work for me. My husband and most of my closest friends are extroverts. I love to listen and to learn and they love to share their thoughts and ideas. They are the ones who make me try new things. However, it is crucial that we understand and respect how each other works. For example, I understand that my husband needs more social time (boardgames) and he understands when I gently ask him for a quiet time (alone or side by side). Instead of getting bitter or offended, we are happy to see the other one recharge on its own way. It is so relaxing going to social events with him because he does most of the talk and enternainment while I just enjoy myself with no pressure. He says he prefers introverts. Do opposites attract? I don't know, but we laugh so much toghether and there is never boredom.

I agree almost 100% because I am an ambivert and highly sensitive person but when I have this introvert phase it is very consistent. I would love it if you would upload a video about ambivert people.
I see myself as an ambivert person and need different things depending on the day to recharge my battery, unfortunately it is not so easy for me to recognise every day anew whether I need more time alone today or whether I want to be around people.
Sometimes it happens that I know exactly what I need today, but that is not the rule, but rather the exception.
What is the best way to recognise what I need on a particular day?

Being a lone-wolf ADD introvert living with a ADHD extrovert, and knowing we are both at the opposite ends of each spectrum (my ADD is light and I am a real lone wolf, while my husband has quite a heavy ADHD and just loves and needs socializing), that's pretty amazing we are able to live together. Especially as we are digital nomads and live in a 12m2 motor-home ;-)
I think, anyway that there is ONE thing only that we need, no matter which stamp you put on yourself: RESPECT.
If you have respect for others, you'll just take them the way they are.
The main issue is people believing others are wrong and try to "fix" them, or "teach" them what they should do and so on.
It took me years to understand this very fundamental thing: I don't have to change to accommodate others. Others have to understand that's the way I am and to take things as they come.
But that doesn't mean you have to be selfish. My husband suffers from separation anxiety due to a recent health trauma, and though he understands I need alone time, I also understand that when I leave to be alone it triggers his anxiety very badly. So we just take each day as they come and try to BALANCE his needs and mine.
That's most probably the most fascinating and difficult job in a relationship: trying to truly understand your significant other, and respect who he/she is no matter how weird his way of being/acting might look at some point.

I definitely value the taking things slow. I am not one to rush into a relationship at all, I am one to go gradually from "Can we just be friends for a while?" to having romance starting to brew in me. Unfortunately, I have not met a potential partner that understands this. They want to get romantic right away and I'm like "I'm not ready for that." and feeling very uncomfortable. I've met many other women who feel the way I do about it, but I'm heterosexual and a woman myself. In my experience, it's always been the women that are like "Let's take this slowly, let's not rush into things" and the guys that are wanting to get right into the romantic stuff asap.

Everybody has baggage, I found my BF while I was still working on the healing process of past traumas. I'm still in the process a bit, but I'd have to say my BF actually helps me with them. When I freak out over my insecurities he does very well to reassure me. I mean I was literally about to ball to him at one point I was feeling so down because of my insecurities and with one small sentence he made me smile and the tears were gone.
All I'm saying is, climb that mountain and do what you can to widdle it down, and you might find in the process of doing that, you may just find someone who's worth it and thinks you are too.
But that's just my perspective so take it with a grain of salt. I wish you luck in finding love ❤

There were times my gf and I went minutes on call and I didn't say anything, just knowing she was there I felt relaxed. Or maybe having lunch together we don't talk much but always sit together among our circle of friends. I think we're both good listeners. Though I think she's more extroverted than I am but not too sure.
Quality time? We get together twice a week with different groups of friends but I'm happy just to see her and I'm sure she feels the same. Even some friends take a few jabs at me for it. I'm good with personal space too.
Deep conversation seems nice since small talk is my downfall. Whether it's other friends or her just into detail about my thoughts helps me feel a bit better. And she said to the things slow at first and I completely agree.

One interesting aspect of the Myers-Briggs system is that the best matches are always between introverts and extroverts.
    For example:
    ENFJ and INFP
    ENTJ and INFP
    INFJ and ENFP
    INTJ and ENFP
    ENTP and INFJ
    ISFP and ENFJ
    ENTP and INTJ
    INTP and ENTJ
    ESTJ and ISFP
    ESFJ and ISFP
    ISTJ and ESFP
    ISFJ and ESFP
    ESTJ and ISTP
    ESFJ and ISTP
PS: Sorry for my broken English...

I am dating an introvert, but I am an extrovert, so I had to learn such things, even it is not so easy sometimes. I try my best to give home his space, such as he is playing games and I am reading books. But what makes this even harder for me to not get overexcited when I see him is, we are in a long distance relationship. So I don’t see him really often 😅
He try’s to make me happy in going to a party even he doesn’t like such events and so glad for that 🥰

I hat to admit it, But I am an introvert. I spend lots of quality time with myself. I only go into town when I have to. some times I like to wonder around to see what's happening and maybe engage in some of the activity and hope to get to know someone better. I would feel a lot better if I could find someone who is a lot like me with the likes and dislikes but I mostly feel comfortable when I'm alone. Just having someone around to talk to some times is okay but at the same time having someone around make me nervous.

I usually don't comment much, but Uncle Joe needs to be a reappearing character, maybe even with some dark lore surrounding him when, in reality, he's one of the kindest personalties in the Psi-Universe.
Also, great video! I'm seeing this girl at the moment, and it looks like we're slowly developing a romantic relationship, but we're both rather shy and inexperienced introverts, and I can feel that we both enjoy very much spending time together but at the same time it's difficult opening up to each other and talking about our feelings. On the other hand, it has rarely felt that rewarding in my entire life when I do decide to be brave and vulnerable and share my true self with her. All in all, it's pretty exciting and (positively) nerve-wracking, so thank you for your wise and entertaining videos for calming me down :)

    My partner does:
    1. Stay in silence pretty nicely. Staring into his beautiful eyes is my favorite part of everyday
    2. Listens. He remembers information I’ve told him years ago. He’s an introverted as me so we often find ourselves having conversations about odd things
    3. We literally napped together. Today I wanna go to a park. Just being together is amazing
4.the alone time. He hates being alone but I love being alone. To compromise he lets me be alone but I have to text him periodically to make sure his okay.
5.he doesn’t really have deep convos. He’s getting better at it. He’s hidden from his emotions so it’s hard to talk about the deep stuff
6.we took things slow. I’ve never cried in front of my friends. He’s the first person I’ve ever cried in front of. He’s becoming my safe place. And I hope to become his

As a 31 year old introvert who's only had 1 (less than a month!) relationship, this hurts. I've imagined my future partner plenty of times, so I've already come to know these needs. It just sucks to think what if we never find each other... it makes me feel hopeless quite often. But I know that's more related to depression. Anyway, being an introvert while feeling lonely is such a complicated topic for people to understand.

    also the fish said:
    "in dead cthulhu

Also whilst at work, I've closely worked with an extrovert for the past 7yrs and she never shuts up, drives everyone in the office up the wall and she hates it if I don't talk a load of inane subjects or gossip with her, she's very opinionated. It's exhausting. Well, I snapped at her today and I think I need to get away from her and the office. It's making me unwell.. I've also got a narcissist chap who's trying to lure me in.. I'm at the end of my tether.. Lovely video 🌸❤
