Definitely both bikes are great to ride :) It's a matter of personal choice.
If u wanna go to long ride cbr is best choice. R15 is good for street not for long rides. And I love both machines

Kurien George keep your bike clean, wash once in two weeks. If you let the dust accumulate eventually original shine will never comeback. Use good quality wax. Always Park in shed. That's it.

I had thunderbird 350 in past bought in 2017 i sold it and bought cbr250r in 2019 trust me REs are desi jugad and very high maintainace

I am not sure about the 300R news. Nobody has talked about this in Honda yet. For a similar bike, you can consider Mahindra mojo

they do plan to release a face lift or the 300 in a few days.. but it will come in the showrooms only by next year mid(I'm guessing) i would suggest that you wait for the facelift..
finally found anold stock cbr 250 so going to buy that in this 28/10/2016 .... cant wait for the facelift because it is gonna more expensive than this.... any way thanks for your help

Does Honda still sells these plain red in market or just in Bangolore? I got a broucher from a showroom here in chennai and it shows the bike in red with graphics on it (red, white). Wats your thought abt it? or does the plain red applicable only for ABS version!!! I am planning to buy one but confused with a choice of graphics or plain red.
Honda has stopped plain colored red and black. now this comes with graphics only.

Should i buy a preowned cbr250r 2011 model and odo completed around 10k km ? Or 15 or 16 model with more odo readings around 23 to 25 k??
Sorry to see your question so late bro but in my opinion, a well maintained 2011 or 2012 model CBR 250 is a good investment because they were engines imported from Thailand and even today irrespective of their odo readings are still performing very very well.

Yes it is possible. But its slightly gonna affect the ABS calibration on the bike. But not a big deal. Many ppl are using it.
Hi Strell, would you be able to check if Hero Xtreme's Clipons would be direct fit to CBR250R.....do they have the same Fork Size? CBR is 37mm i guess, not sure what size is Hero Xtreme, but it has raised Clipons.....

To be honest, not really. More bikes are getting launched this year. Btw, if possible, check my videos on CBR250 and see whether you are so much into the positives of this bike and the negatives doesnt cares you. Then you are good to go.
I really like the looks and power of the bike. Also i need a faired bike. RC200 posture was not good for me. There is no other bike in the segment.

hey brother.. im planning to take a cbr250r abs version. its a used bike 2012 model..it hs run 24k kms.. im a bit worried abt the engine condition and maintenance cz its a old model.. can u post ur opinion regarding that.. noone has posted genuine reviews on wt ol precautions shud b taken care of while takin a used cbr250r. hope ull help out..
colours are limited now.. I don't like the sticker works done in current production.. Strell is it possible to get a tri-color bike..?
Bangalore showrooms doesnt have any stock of old models. But heard other states are selling the old model stickers because of clogged stocks. Which state you are from ! Even I didnt like the sticker they are providing. I prefer pain or tri color.

You are true man. Honda is disappointing the customer with useless upgrades on existing bikes. 300R or 250RR are not coming to India anytime soon.

but the thing that pulls me tiwards cbr is almost zero vibrations while dominar vibrates like a trimmer above 4.5k RPM

I have cbr 250r 2013 model and now its giving me trouble from the handle and some noises .. I went to service centre but they weren't identify the problem... Can anyone help me out of this ?

Both gives 35kmpl max. Never consider mileage if you are looking for any of these.

Tank capacity is 13L, but 10L will be usable. I get 330kms to 350 on a full fill.

Hi Strell, I am planning for a second hand CBR 250R and I have seen the bike and it's is in a good condition and have rode and tested the bike and he has done a complete service recently and he is a tourer by passion, and the bike is 2011 make and we'll maintained. Now the question is should I go for 2011 model and it is really a steal for 55K. Please do reply regards, Vasant

The sound should not be there after a chain lubrication and slack adjustments. If its not there, then good to buy.

I guess the new red Color is not the same red I am having. But still removing the stickers from the new one will looks way better 😊

as per my calculation i get 25kmpl highway
I calculate the mileage by looking at the fuel indicator. I reset the trip meter when the indicator starts blinking and fill fuel. The I will wait till the next blinking and note down the Kms and fuel.

3M is the best polish for any bike. I got my cover from the service center. But you can get that from ebay too.

I am sorry if its a dumb question but can I convince Honda retailer to change the tyres to Michelin before booking one?
If you can pay the extra 9k , then Honda will agree for it. That means you will be dumping a brand new MRF/Contigo tyres.

Dude by riding this vehicle can I have backpain or shoulder pain something.
I am 160cm high and I am not having any back pain. Actually this is an ideal bike for a person with height 165-175. And no wrist pain or shoulder pain. I ride a lot. Wrist pain can occur because of improper riding position. Thats all.

Its good in dry conditions. Pretty much bad in wet weather. And Contigo ABS users are happy also. No ABS guys finding its bit annoying with tire locks.

dude ! CBR 250 easily beats rc200/d200 when it comes to power delivery or say in terms of engine though it is lot heavier than the later two! it only lacks the handling capability which is offered by the ktms!
I have made healthy competitions with RC and Duke 200's many times :) They have good low end torque which helps them to pick faster. But later CBR wins.

88kmph. Which is 5.5k rpm in 6th gear. it's a no fun ride 😁
At what rpm does it cruises at 100 kmph in 6th gear??
6th gear - 6.5k rpm - 106kmph . That's a sign of healthy engine.

It depends on personal stamina. I being healthy and having moderate stamina, I have ridden it 800kms in a day with stops in every 100km.
I currently have a pulsar 220 n I'm planning to buy cbr 250r does the bike behaves well even after riding 800 kms in a day did u face any problems I have finalised this bike after a lot of research n I want a personal review of someone as I would use this bike only for touring purpose
I have friends who has done 1000kms in a day. They didnt face any issue in riding the CBR for a longer time. Even they have done 8000kms round trip in 20 days.
