Toon Anime Yes if you consider as a touring point of view and compare it with the other 250cc motorcycles available in our market right now, it does make sense.
Subhashis Thakur it does make sense bro. Consider the ktm 200 s.. The duke is in ths same price range.. The rc being more expensive. The cbr outruns both of em in terms of perfomance reliability ride ability even though its not that great on corners as compared to the rc.. But its worth the 1.8 lacs u spent on the non abs. Eventhough i admit that the abs is a bit over priced
Biker Buddy Motovlogs Yes and RCs are too aggressive for touring, and even if I consider Duke 250 as a tourer, it doesn't even come with ABS. So in that sense CBR is still a nice choice.
Whatever you said is absolutely right recently went on a tour about 500 km one side, it was an amazing experience yet again. I cruised around 130 kmph, no vibrations, no wind blast, suspension impeccable I went over couple of unexpected craters bike was rock solid and brakes gives you so much confidence just a light touch even at high speed it slows down instantly and in a very controlled manner overall wonderful bike. ( I own a 3rd hand 2011 abs model clocked around 70k km but still in great shape)!!!!!

Thank you so much for covering every single aspect of the motorcycle in a single video. It was so helpful. I can say that from the way you portrayed, you've loved this bike from deep down your heart. Kudos. You did a great job.
After booking RR 310 in Dec last year, I am now going ahead with CBR 250R in lieu of it and your videos of both bikes have really helped me make this decision. Reasons: - Insanely long waiting period, +Finest Engine refinement, +longevity, +pillion comfort and upto some extent +seat height as my height is just less than 5.5. Also I would probably be investing saved 15K on better helmet/gear.. Keep up the good work!
I love the yellow colour.also did the test rideof this 250 for the first time and I am damn sure that I will buy it within one month.many thanks for your review.I am glad that u gave a beautiful reiew.thanks
Another nice review, Strell. Only exception I would note is your comment about the CBR250R not having good low-end torque. Coming from a Ninja250R, I love the low-end torque on this bike. Starting from a dead stop it pulls effortlessly and in that regard it's very beginner friendly. I'm one of those guys who's owned a 2011 CBR250R for 8 years now and in all that time I haven't had even a hint of a problem mechanically. It's easily the best bike I've ever owned. I'm seriously considering a Ninja 400 these days, but if the Ninja's twin doesn't have at least as much torque as the CBR's single, I'll probably hang on to my CBR for a couple more years. It's still just as much fun as the day I got it.
I'm 6'1" with a 34" inseam. My favorite bikes were always Yamahas and I really thought the R3 would be my next bike when it was introduced. Then I sat on one at the dealership. It felt diminutive even in comparison with the CBR250R, which despite my size fits me extremely well. I also didn't like the feeling of sitting "in" the R3 rather than "on" it with it's high tank and low seat. Technically it's a marvel, but it just doesn't fit me at all and that was a crushing disappointment. I'm hoping the Ninja 400 with the optional higher seat will fit me even better than the CBR, although I'm concerned about the forward "slope" of the seat, which I absolutely HATED on my Ninja250R and was one big reason I traded it in for the CBR. I believe the Ninja 400 is a lot more expensive in India. Here in the US it's the exact same price as the Ninja 300 and quite the bargain at only $5000.
Noted. I haven't tried any of those bikes, so I guess it's a case of ignorance is bliss. Coming off a Ninja250R with it's twin cylinders and ridiculously short 1st and 2nd gears, the CBR250R's single cylinder engine really feels torquey as all get-out to this rider.
Hi Buddy, I like to way you break down all the important details of the bike and give a detailed and honest review of it.. also you use the comparison with other bikes actually help to understand difference between both of them quality wise, durability and Maintaining cost as well.. just superb.. Thank you so much for the lovely video for such a Charming Honda CBR 250R.. 👍👍🏍
Hey Strell. Great review. The excitement with which you described your experience with the bike speaks volumes about the honesty of it. Kudos to you. I know i'm late to the party but like they say better late than never. Cheers. ✌️
I like the way you reviewed A person who owns a bike and is a bike enthusiast can say better about that bike. Your review contains all the things one should consider before buying a motorcycle like the Engine, comfort, practicality, service cost, built quality etc. Nice Job
Sumeet Gaikwad The LED headlamp is bright enough!! High beam is also usable on highways or on long tours. I have no clue whether it can be fit in older CBR...
No offence bro but vada pav is cheap and biryani is expensive...though both can fill your belly..but whats good in the long run...i mean its a Honda.Platina is also a rebranded kawasaki boxer i guess...
T.W.O. Two Wheels Only this bike looks amazing i am very happy that nothing has changed in this bike besides the colours and bsIV it looks gorgeous ilooks way cooler than rc 200 love cbr250r 😘😍😍😘
About the tyre part, I totally agree. The stock Contigo is too slippery for rainy days, and the dry grip is just satisfactory. Michelin Pilot Street Radial tyres has best value in term of all weather performance (wet+dry). I have done 130 km/h in moderate rain with those tyres. But for ripping the curves of Nandi Hills, I prefer the Metzeler Sportec M5. That’s the best tyre in the Indian market
Good review dude, those two magical specs mentioned is true and All in all good option to go for.. your genuine experience lead me to own this bike.. and i am completely satisfied with CBR 250R ABS model. More over Honda is Honda..👍 Thanks..
A very detailed and informative review. Good information in simple words. Even I have a friend who has done more than 1.5L kms. And am myself using a unicorn since 2008 and done 85k kms. Honda is extremely reliable and long run bikes. Only downside if we wanna mention would be less exciting ride which other bikes give. You need to be patient and cool to ride Honda bikes. Specially CBR 150/250 and unicorn (no comments about sports bikes like CBR 650f and all)
Didi you noticed any difference from bs3 engine, because 90% of the reviews out there are of bs3 and I've heard some negative reviews about bs4 so can you clarify that, and also can we increase the performance like bs3 if we used bs3 ecu or any other small mods? Please answer i would be thankful!
1.5 lakh is a small number for cbr. it should go beyond 2 or even 3 lakh with normal maintenance. I have seen pulsar with 1.14 lakh even without proper timely maintenance
@strell love your videos!!! could you please talk about the chain cam tensioner noise? I own 2015 cbr250r as well and I'm in need of solution for the tickling noise from tensioner. thank you
I am using ns200 and clocked 1lak km . Till now no problem nothing.. we should not underestimate Bajaj. Dominor is also superb bike and best buy in today's market.
Never buying a Indian brand again worst experience with Bajaj rs200 more my bike is in service station Dan wit me nearly spent 50k roughly in 10 months repairing this that every alternate week have 2 visit the service station for battery engine oil leakage coolant wat not fuck..
Hey man... It's always please watching your content and info.... Really enjoy it... I wanted to know what do you mean by when you said stressing on touring, DOMINAR is choice one should go for... Cz I have a major confusion between buying cbr or doninar for 70%city n 30% touring.... Your comments would be worth knowing... Thank you
Strell, am a student and saving money for this bike from 2018 june....and it would take one more year but one day i will own a CBR♥️ I became a honda fan boy when i first took the test ride of my friend's CBR 250R🏍️ (December 2017) , at that time i was in class 12th. I fell in love with this machine, the comfort, the power delivery, stability on highway 😍 Everything is perfect in this bike and i feel Honda shouldn't change anything on this bike except the instrumental console , also there should be dual headlamps setup like ninja 300 which will give it more sharp looks. Overall it would be perfect option for me🥰
hey strell..my bike vibrates a lot on the handlebars and pillion seat after 5k rpm. the showrooms guys told me it is normal..but i have ridden other cbrs and i found them really smooth. do you know what the issue might be?
🙏😎🤘😋I'm a cbr lover,I'm going to buy cbr 250r yellow 😋,I like all ur video footage, I will always c everything that's y I have done Subscribed,TQ Strell for uploading cbr 250r videos,I support u bro,I'm Abi from Bangalore I'm ur fan bro
Iam using cbr since four years I've driven 25k kms around the bike was very good and engine was very smooth but crank sound is coming on high speeds i have asked service advisor and he said that is common for all cbr bikes can u notice that while u riding on high speeds
I rides my Cbr around 75000km still I need to ride more Km. Many bikes comes and go lyk Bajaj dominor Nd Apache 310rr and more. But Cbr 250r braking is good. Good pillion comfort. Good engine refinement. Aswome sport touring motorcycle. Very thing is good. If u go for Bajaj dominor it don’t have more handling braking s not much also like Cbr . 310rr Apache pillion comfort s not good. Any thing less. So Cbr wins in all round.
Hello Brother.. hope you guys doing great.. i am new subscriber to your channel and have been viewing most of your videos. Recently i sold my classic 350 and am giving a thought to switch to Cbr 250r, 2018 AbS model. Honestly i gave it try after seeing your review about the bike and just yesterday i took a test ride for it. I loved the ride quality and only concerning is the ride posture.. since i am switching from cruiser, not easy to be adjusted on cbr 250r.. since you have taken this machine for longer rides. Wanted to know if there are any issues of back pain or stress on your hands or wrists ? In my yesterday test ride i felt some kind of pressure on my wrists, probably could be due to change in my ride posture but not so sure abt it.. if you could please guide, it would assist in my decision making.
I am discussing the same with my technician. If the wiring fits, yes it possible. Or we could work out on that. But need to check on the price Honda quote for this head light assembly.
thank you so much brother to help me make my decision for this bike. tommorow i am going to purchase this bike. then i again msg you. Thanks Brother, Hapoy Holi
Bro I am a college student , I like sporty and very good handling machines . I was in low budget so found one deal in olx ... For 66k which ran 31,000km in 7 years... Looks little scrached and the distance covered feels fake .... Should I give it a short?
India's best "Do it All" sports bike. And sales figure dont lie. CBR 250R is kicking the backside of much vaulted over-hyped vibrator RR310 in sales figure month after month.
Am not kinda beginner bt it would be my 1st bike if I buy it nd I like bike touring also nd a great speed in around with comparatively good mileage so should I take this or something else? Pls help me for bruh
Hi strell. I bought the same color CBR and I'm having some issues in the suspension. Either when I ride with pillion or ride on a speed brake alone a bit faster , the suspension hits on the bike and doesn't work well. Did u had that problem. Can u tell me a solution as I don't wanna go to the dealer as they are worst in Service (AM Honda chennai).
Hey brother, awesome video. I need your suggestion. Am planning to buy a bike. Confused btw Gixxer 250 brand new one and cbr 250r 2019 abs model 6k on the odo for 1.3L. am 6ft height with 85kgs. Your suggestion helps me a lot. Thank you...
I have budget of around 2 lakh or less. I’ve narrowed down to two options: CBR 250R and Duke 250. Not considering bajaj for now. I want bike for long tours and city riding. Looks and tech (like abs, slipper clutch) matter to me. CBR’s centre console is old fashioned and duke 250 is missing out on main feature: ABS. I can manage bike without ABS, I’ve been riding royal enfield(one of the most heavy bikes without abs). Help me decide 🙂
If you have a slight inclination to duke250, yes go for it. You might need to use a better cushion for long rides. Otherwise a nice bike to have. Honda is all about build quality and refinement when compared to ktm India. And ktm is more fun and offers more equipments.
Strell thanks, really appreciate the advice👍, your videos are great. This one didn’t seem like lengthy video as you shared only important info about bike.
Gurjeet Singh Go for CBR250R mate. Bike wont disappoint you even after years of hard use, where KTM despite all its gizmos just fells apart and is extremely unreliable.
Pramathew Yayawar thanks, appreciate the advice bro, CBR really seems like a sweet deal considering the fact that it offers ABS as an option. As you said KTM bike are a little unreliable, I feel the same about Bajaj Dominar thats why it was out of my list.
Gurjeet Singh I am using Honda Unicorn for the last 14 years(also have CBR250R), done 80k so far on it. Not a single breakdown or mishap so far. Apart from it my bro is using Honda Hornet and my dad Dream Yuga. All Hondas are running as good as new even after many years and rough use. My CBR250R is also awesome. Close your eyes and buy CBR250R. There is a reason why they say, "Honda is Honda."😘
Well, that was seriously amazing review.. well done🤘 But i have 2 questions.. 1) I'm jst 5'4" is it sufficient or do i have to take more efforts to control? 2) I've seen many 2018 models in red and yellow color in my city bt I personally liked the matt grey one so will it take some extra cost for that color like R15 special edition does more for graphics?
Gourav Mandal I would like to have your opinion whether I should go for cbr 250r or dominar 400, this would be my first bike and I'm just a beginner. I'll mostly use bike for city commute and few short rides. My priorities would be comfort and reliability ,so as per your experience which bike should I go with ?
Yash Desai suggestion is not go with cbr.. Cuz spare parts availability is very tough job.. Even disk pads not available on time & if you order it any service center they will take almost 3months... This is my experience in kolkata...
I bought a 2016 CBR 250R just because I fell in love with the videos you made and the love you have for this bike.I'm a short guy and this bike never makes you feel that.I was gonna go for a Duke 200 but it was Strell bc why I have the perfect bike for myself. The reliability levels of The CBR are off the charts as compared to ktms😂
As they say, "Quality comes at a price."😎 And 1.63 lacs ex-showroom for a full faired racer replica bike is justified, IMO. Even RC200 without ABS costs around 1.75 ex-showroom
Pramathew Yayawar I meant that this bike was in the market with same design (not other than some cosmetic changes. 2018 model looks much better now) for a long long years (6-7years). So Honda should update this bike with major changes. Then it can justify that price. But there isn't that much options in this 250cc category. So CBR is the winner.
Hey Strell! I appreciate your contribution on TH-cam. Good job. Please do comment on the spare part availability pan India; heard, its dicey situation.
Based on feedback from my viewers, spare parts has scarcity across India apart from cities like Blr, Mumbai, Chennai... seems like they will be ordered and packaged to different location on demand. If the service centre is good in dealing with customers and services, they will get spares easily.
If it isn't much changed from the previous version in aspects of engine and performance, can i buy a 2nd hand CBR 250r?? As the new bike is out of budget for me but i want to own this bike. What would you say on buying it second hand?? Please give me your opinion!

Toon Anime no it isn't it has everything you need in a 250cc..
I have CBR 150R bought in 2012, completed 1,10,000 km.. It's a gem of engine. Did 800km in 12 hours.
Service cost during this period 🤨
Bro thinking about buying second hand CBR 250.......can I buy...age h bike ki

Great to hear it from you 😊. The low end torque loss started feeling after rising the duke250, dominar and other bikes in segment 😊.
Ninja 400 is a rip off. R3 makes a much stronger case.
I'm 6'1" with a 34" inseam. My favorite bikes were always Yamahas and I really thought the R3 would be my next bike when it was introduced. Then I sat on one at the dealership. Why not look for CBR500R?
Also in my personal opinion CBR650F is a proper upgrade over CBR250R. Dont you think so?
Awesome in depth review. Cleared all doubts ,my friend just made up his mind and is gonna buy it this week. Thank you.
Congrats 😊
An extremely reliable motorcycle that belongs to the mythological era. BTW good to see you again Strell.
No matter if pillion is Lean or Fluffy.. 😂😂 I like your use of Adjectives man.

Congratulations!
Which colour?
Gaurang Gupta sports red
Gokul Rkz
That looks the best!!
I have matte with striking green!
Gaurang Gupta how's the led setup and beam spread? Also can we fit these headlamp on older model?
Sumeet Gaikwad
The LED headlamp is bright enough!!
High beam is also usable on highways or on long tours.
I have no clue whether it can be fit in older CBR...
Thanks man.
Have been waiting for your review.
The "Simran" part was a nice one :V
Really appreciate and love your work
Even platinas are capable of doing 1.5lakh kms.. A DOHC Honda doing 1.5lakhs is no big deal.. If maintained normally
Road Trimmer True !
Road Trimmer But again, Platina has a motor designed by Kawasaki.
i have also seen platina going 2lac kilometers
@@xplorographer6334 Incorrect. It was built by Bajaj.
No offence bro but vada pav is cheap and biryani is expensive...though both can fill your belly..but whats good in the long run...i mean its a Honda.Platina is also a rebranded kawasaki boxer i guess...
Except for the Banana color, the graphic updates look nice. (I still feel Honda India shouldn't have bought back the same bike)
T.W.O. Two Wheels Only this bike looks amazing i am very happy that nothing has changed in this bike besides the colours and bsIV it looks gorgeous ilooks way cooler than rc 200 love cbr250r 😘😍😍😘
Well new colors and graphics sucks old ones were beautiful 😍..
Bike actually looks sexy in plain Colors
Yes new cour and graphics sucks . But the design of this bike is the king ....!! Stylish attractive design!!
No actually this colour is better in reality. Videos don't do justice.

Nice video 😊👍🏻. I have been using cbr 250r since 2012 and I get about 26kmpl. Expecting over 30kmpl is too much😄
Hello do you know how to improve the front light? I can't see anything in the dark
In my yesterday test ride i felt some kind of pressure on my wrists, probably could be due to change in my ride posture but not so sure abt it.. if you could please guide, it would assist in my decision making.
awesome review. good work
Can we install these headlight to our old CBR 250 I have 2012 model
I am discussing the same with my technician. If the wiring fits, yes it possible. Or we could work out on that. But need to check on the price Honda quote for this head light assembly.
Just what I needed before buying a cbr 250. Thanks strell !!☺️
I am happy 😊
New honda cbr 150r 2016 version showroom me milega kya avi v?
Nice review u have completed all the aspects of bike.
thank you so much brother to help me make my decision for this bike. tommorow i am going to purchase this bike. then i again msg you.
Thanks Brother, Hapoy Holi
Bro I am a college student , I like sporty and very good handling machines . I was in low budget so found one deal in olx ... For 66k which ran 31,000km in 7 years... Looks little scrached and the distance covered feels fake .... Should I give it a short?
apache rtr200 2.0 is best or CBR is best ???
India's best "Do it All" sports bike.
And sales figure dont lie. CBR 250R is kicking the backside of much vaulted over-hyped vibrator RR310 in sales figure month after month.
Best dialogue in this video is during vibration part , " I don't want to quote about it " 😜😜😜🤣🤪🤪
You are good!I like it...you got subscribed🤙
mine doesnt have abs, do you know if there is any way you can buy and install it separately?
Nice video, thanks for explaining all the features
Am not kinda beginner bt it would be my 1st bike if I buy it nd I like bike touring also nd a great speed in around with comparatively good mileage so should I take this or something else? Pls help me for bruh
Can we put this led headlights in the older model?😉
Hey bro. Confused with dominar and cbr .. basically looking for touring capable one .. 6 ft tall and 5.8 ft pillion
Bro yellow or red which is best ,pls sugest
Bro one question which bike should i bike iam a cbr250 lover but stil is there any other which u will suggest me up to 2.5 lakh budget

Go for CBR250R mate.

I am using Honda Unicorn for the last 14 years(also have CBR250R), done 80k so far on it.
Booked A red cbr 250 r abs today. Waiting is 1.5 months 😢
Nice video :) Red or yellow? Which one looks cool?
Well, that was seriously amazing review.. well done🤘
But i have 2 questions..
1) I'm jst 5'4" is it sufficient or do i have to take more efforts to control?
2) I've seen many 2018 models in red and yellow color in my city bt I personally liked the matt grey one so will it take some extra cost for that color like R15 special edition does more for graphics?
That height won't be a problem. You will be able to ride it without any issues. And I don't think there is a price difference for colours for 250r
Appreciate.. thanks strell
What's the price of the clutch plates and sprocket if any one can guide me in this regards ??
Which is the best attractive colour for cbr?
Strell do a video on engine running period or how to maintain a new bike untill first service
please make it
Hi
I am planning to buy the ABS version of this bike.
But bit confused considering suzuki gixer sf 250. Can you guide me which one is better.
Plz
As per the long rides are concerned...let say 800kms patch...which one is more comfortable Dominar 400 or CBR?
Thank you , i think you are first from Bangalore to review it .
Haha. You are welcome. Yes the motorcycle just reached showroom and I got a chance to check it out first :)
Hi. Is the visor clear one on this like the older models? In video it looks smoked.
Its not clear like earlier models. Its light smoked.
I completed 1.29lakh kms in 6yrs... Previous year i exchanged with dominar, now dominar covered 29k kms
Are you happy with the decision??
Gourav Mandal I would like to have your opinion whether I should go for cbr 250r or dominar 400, this would be my first bike and I'm just a beginner. I'll mostly use bike for city commute and few short rides. My priorities would be comfort and reliability ,so as per your experience which bike should I go with ?
Yash Desai go for cbr250r if u want it for long term use
sojan k reji absolutely yes
Yash Desai suggestion is not go with cbr.. Cuz spare parts availability is very tough job.. Even disk pads not available on time & if you order it any service center they will take almost 3months... This is my experience in kolkata...
I bought a 2016 CBR 250R just because I fell in love with the videos you made and the love you have for this bike.I'm a short guy and this bike never makes you feel that.I was gonna go for a Duke 200 but it was Strell bc why I have the perfect bike for myself. The reliability levels of The CBR are off the charts as compared to ktms😂
Even now it is the best all-rounder. But in this age its price is on the upper side by a little.
As they say, "Quality comes at a price."😎
And 1.63 lacs ex-showroom for a full faired racer replica bike is justified, IMO. Even RC200 without ABS costs around 1.75 ex-showroom
Pramathew Yayawar
I meant that this bike was in the market with same design (not other than some cosmetic changes. 2018 model looks much better now) for a long long years (6-7years). So Honda should update this bike with major changes. Then it can justify that price. But there isn't that much options in this 250cc category. So CBR is the winner.
Well said bro👍
I hope this doesn't become a deal breaker. Thanks for the prompt reply.
If it isn't much changed from the previous version in aspects of engine and performance, can i buy a 2nd hand CBR 250r?? As the new bike is out of budget for me but i want to own this bike. What would you say on buying it second hand?? Please give me your opinion!
Bro! Which colour do you think looks long lasting and decent?
CBR 250r ABS main Slipper clutch joruritha.
