Arctic: • Gears of War Judgment ...
In this tutorial, I go over when I use the different styles of aiming, as well as some special moves I use to give me an edge with the shotgun. If something is unclear and you have questions about how to do specific moves, let me know and I will answer. Thanks for watching and look out for a movement tutorial down the road!
Sensitivity settings: 20-20-20 (I also play claw) - เกม
This is one of the best shotgun tutorials I have seen for Judgment! It definitely is making me think about how I can improve my mobility and shot selection.
Nice vid. Very helpful tips/reminders. I almost always blind fire but I implemented these methods of shotgunning in and see an improvement.
Great video Chris. Very well done. I'm sure that this video will be able to help out all of the new players. When I play with all my friends they always tell me to teach them how I play(which is fairly similar to the way that you play), but I just can't teach them. I'm not very good at teaching so it's nice that someone can do it pretty well. Also, at 2:30 if you find yourself at the receding end of the hard aim you can bounce the right side and do an up-A(leading shot) around the corner.
always helpful, lol watch this twice just to see the kills and then to listen and pay attention. your movement is so fluid and you cleared up my pop shot question cause i was thinking i wasnt accurate enough so that might be my problem. good vid
gotta be the best SG tutorial i've seen on tube. explained things well, demoed them and even outlined specific shots. good job! sub and like!
Awesome man, you are a very skilled player and sharing your skill with others is a very grand gesture indeed
I watch this all the TIME It's so helpful!
I've lost all motivation for gears, so I don't play it a lot anymore and plan on talking a little break from it and play some other games. But it's good to see u enjoying it Chris an it's awesome watching u play, keep em comin Chris ur awesome dood.
Your style of playing is unique. I mean, I know that you aren't the first one that uses roll shots but I thinks it's a very characteristic thing from you. Also when I see your videos you can feel the flow. It's very enterteaning to watch you. Like people say in my country : Qué chingón.
Damn dude you’ve been doing these tutorials for so long I have mad respect for uou
buying judgement because of your videos. you make it look so fast and fun.
can't wait to find you on ffa and tdm
cheers
Thank you! And I'm gonna work on the lancer next but there's not as much to say about the weapon.
Thanks :) giving the moves names is weird since it feels so natural after playing for a long time, but its the best way to teach new players how to perform them :P
Subbed, amazing skills man. Never played Gears Versus till this game and while Ive been getting rocked Im going to continue to practice and get better, thanks for the tips.
Great video. Definitely gave me some things to think about play Gears of War UE
Thanks man! I don't have to say much on that topic cuz my settings have pretty much been default and the same since GOW 1
Wow ModdedTalent, ...just got to now you coz Abram commented on this! I'm impressed, thanks a lot for that awesome shotgun tut, by far the best i've seen by now! ...subbed!
Good vid bro. Very well thought out and explained
Great video man. Really quality content as usual. And your movement and aim never fail to impress!
Thanks for the tips just got yourself another sub.Wish i could play half as good as that i will keep playing and hopefully get close.
Happy to hear, welcome to the channel :)
nice headshots and great shotgun tips
Sick gameplay and awesome gnasher tips!
I will now try this. Thank you my freind
I quickly hit LT to aim, then RT to fire immediately after. Glad the video helped, thanks for watching :)
I'll try to focus more on the on screen reticule and see what happens. Thanks for the advice
That's great news, man. You've got yourself another subscriber.
NICE! This was a extremely helpful tutorial!
Dude your accuracy is insane, awesome shooting.
thanks man cant wait to try these
really good vid.... excellent movement, subbed
No problem! It's actually been a bit difficult for myself but if you stick with it I'm sure you'll succeed.
really nice tutorial man.
Your movement is nuts!
Great video and info.
Thank you for your kind words sir!
Awesome tips! Thanks for sharing :D
Awesome video! Thank you man!
Thanks! I've stuck to Overrun mostly since for some reason the transition to Judgment from 3 has been really rough for me.
I watched this to learn a thing or two and I just got mastered. You sir, are absolutely ridiculously great. I obviously have a lot to learn, so if anyone would help a guy out, the gamertag is WXI Deadpool.
I literally stuck with 20-20-20, and its been fine for me. I think it's just a matter of adapting and getting used to a particular setting, so I would try to stick with one set for a bit before changing so quickly.
great tips !
the mantle mind trick is gold :)
my tip Don't be afraid to try different settings, like alternate, claw, high sensitivity, using your toes, default, etc.
Yes, i love ur vids man i also really want this game so bad!
People tend to prefer the gnasher, but as someone who has played the game for a very long time I can tell you that the more resourceful player is the better one. I tend to use rifles or power weapons before I start using the shotgun, and as a result I usually find myself doing better than those that exclusively using one weapon.
Thanks :) meleeing is not really an issue anymore because the stun time and damage output have been greatly reduced. If someone hits you, shoot them. They'll learn the bullets are stronger and better soon enough,
couldidnt agree more wall boucning does work but only on most who have bad aim or in this guys case u are really good at it and stay on target
I used to shotgun roll a lot but I'm not sure why I stopped. I guess because I switched to alternate and just cut way back on rolling in general. I think I'm going to start doing it again to see how I like it since until watching this video it never really occurred to me.
Good stuff Chris!
thanks man u really helped me
Thanks man! Happy it helped.
Thanks man :) pop shotting still constricts the spread a little bit more, although u are correct when u say it is less effective compared to previous games. For me, it still helps my accuracy a bunch. As far as melees go, it is pretty out of control, but I think it'll get nerfed. I don't wanna try to teach people how to effectively fist fight xP
Focus more on the on-screen reticule, as opposed to the barrel of your shotgun. That's what I did, and I've had a lot of success with it.
Great vid man i like to see u doing that roll shotgun shot i use to do that all the time and roll to dodge shots like u do but i stop doing it cause everyone says it not smart but it use to work for me im gonna start using it again it insane how close are playstyles are, good work i am going to sub also do u ever help anyone out in game like in private to teach them some stuff
Haha thanks Abram. Rolling can be useful if used properly. It's a unique play style for sure but its what I like :P
Very true, although I am guilty of keeping my sensitivities, avoiding omnidirectional evade, and alternate control scheme. I'm stubborn xP
I'm gonna have a separate tutorial for bouncing but generally speaking, its very important that you pull away from cover before you actually hit the cover otherwise you might get stuck a bit.
OMG this video is very helpful! Thank you my firend! Greetings from Italy :P
Thanks a lot man glad to hear it helped :)
Happy to help!
Very well done!
Yoo man great vid very helpfull for new gears players/people having trouble adjusting to the game... You should make a vid on how to avoid that 2 peice:)
Just because you can't wall bounce doesn't mean people who do are "exploiting" a controller's feature.
Nice bro that helped me alot!
hey i'm a big fan of your videos
Thanks, and my pleasure man! Good luck online =P
very detailed and perfect.btw there is a hater in da room, but it ain't me.
I have a movement tutorial planned for Thursday. Thanks for the comment :)
Glad you like it :)
Thanks u made me such a better playa
Thank you very much!
ha you published this on my bday! I was in Vegas and couldn't play :(
Thanks =) I don't do private match lessons, I use default controls, and my sensitivity settings are in the description.
You'll have to translate that for me, but I appreciate the love my man :)
My movement is almost identical in each game but I'd just stick with it cuz it takes a bit of time to adjust to some of the smaller differences between each game.
good tips men good good!!!!
My pleasure, good luck!
any love button here bro ? lol try a roadie strafe + rolling it really confusses your oponent i always get 2 w that
Great tips on everything chris but i thought u said u were gonna go after all the different styles of wallbouncing?
You gun color is so cool
Thanks man happy to hear :)
Cool vid
Thanks, and glad to hear!
Buakbeek!! Really nice vid
Thanks so much!
Awesome man!
This was a great video and all, but I think a melee tutorial would be even more helpful.
Thanks man, and good addition, that's def viable.
The one you feel most comfortable with.
Awesome video ;)
Great tutorial, man. I'm curious as to if you're going to or have made a wall-bouncing tutorial. I started out playing Gears 3 and I've been trying to get my wall bounce up to your capability. Not yours specifically, but being able to wall bounce and strafe so well. I'm a decent Gears player but nowhere near as good as you. I'm just trying to improve my game as I'm inconsistent on whether I do good or bad. There's some games where I go like 14-8 and other games where I go 5-9. Any other tutorial
Thanks man!
Good post!!
thanks for this!
Nice Video Thanks for the help! :D
Thank you!
Good shit dude!
Thanks, happy to hear :)
6:37 of gold. Cheers dude, liked :D
