- Here is my GoW 3 Gnasher Shotgun Tutorial! This is a step by step guide on how to get better with the Gnasher Shotgun in Gears of War 3. I go over the different types of movements and strategies of the shotgun. If you are new to Gears of War in general, no problem. I'm playing gears 3 after a two year break in preparation of gears 4. I use to be good but now I'm so ass 😭

I've been playing this game for a good bit, level 80, but this tutorial really helped me. I already figured it was better to have your sensitivity all the way up, and i was fairly good at wallbouncing and strafing. Your video helped me a lot. thanks

I used to think the bullets hit the middle of the screen during strafing, so I kept aiming with the bloody red gear for over 3 years,until I saw this tutorial
Despite how much I watch this video which is so so helpful I just do not know why I can't go up against the usual crazies with the shotgun :/
It's because as helpful and true as this video is as far as basic moves and gameplay goes, rarely can you think about them in a fast-paced situation. Now, maybe if it's a 1v1 and you both have stopped and are on opposite sides of a wall or something, this stuff is gold. My biggest struggle is taking on multiple enemies. Mainly because I feel this urge to wallbounce constantly because I feel I'm too static with my strafe, then I get splattered when I hit the wall.
Just rewatched this for hte first time in a few months. This a damn good tutorial. Especially love that move at the end.

I learned the transfer cancel on my own place in gears of war judgement and used it in gears of war 3 and it's got me a lot of kills amazing outplay move

I've been a long time gears of war player just like you L.B & seeing even through this tutorial I thought I knew everything about the gnasher apparently I didn't the tips helped me out improve i mean not sooo much since I know alot of the game but it helped me out in multiple ways

Thanks for the video dude, after watching this my game greatly improved, i started using shoulder lean more and more, i noticed i only died if i fucked up, what i mean is shoulder leaning into a opponent by mistake, but it is super effect especially countering wallbouncing and multiple opponents in a tight environment...thanks butter :)

Btw found a execution glitch.
1. Go to the opponent that's down.
2. Hold the exacution button (default for me is Y).
3. Quickly hit the control pad on the weapon you want to switch.
A good combination is do Boomshot, then switch with Retro Lancer.

So i think of myself as a gears veteran, i've been playing gears since the release of gears 1, and honestly, this just made my life so much easier. Its never bad to get tips even when you think you mastered it.
