I am making the step up from turbo props to airliners and I was recommended the E170 as an ideal stepping stone to the airbuses I want to fly. Hi Supanova, what folders do I have to create to put the NAV Data from Navigraph into this aircraft. I've recently tried to update this aircraft with no success. I take it, this plane does not read from the default GNS430 folder. Any help would be appreciated.
I can't recall the process, but I presume I installed it with SSG_AIRAC_1707_XP11_Install.exe. If you want to update with Navigraph data this thread might be of interest: forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/134439-navigraph-data/
Its all good Supanova. Managed to work it out. I used the SSG install exe. to create the folders with AIRAC 1707 & then updated with Navigraph. Thanks for your quick reply though. It's disappointing that your not creating much content for XPlane in 2020 as I feel many will continue with the sim & look for Laminar to make improvements.

How did you get this working in XPlane 11? The downloaded XPlane 10 aircraft does not work and the cockpit is not interactive in XPlane 11.

You need to set up navigation information. There's a section on it in the manual.

Other question: where I can find the takeoff speed?
Takeoff speed is dependant on weight, static air temperature, and flap settings. There are charts available but they're not easy to find.

If the channel is going to have a future, then combat sims will feature more heavily.

You need to look through the documentation for the aircraft for information on the FMS.
Basically it's like the 737 but with small differences.
