I agree, the P80 Chasis Volvo V70R is a wonderful machine. The pinnacle of Volvo engineering. Ok, maybe that’s a stretch, but they’re great cars. Especially with the M58! No M58-equipped cars were sold in the US, all automatics. Also, the Nautic Blue color was available in the US, however no R models in Nautic were imported. So, you have a car that doesn’t exist here in the US. It looks beautiful, and enjoy it! Also, for the love of God please put the rear badging back down to their correct positions closer to the bottom of the tailgate… it looks wrong up high like that! 😅
P80 is indeed the pinnacle, no stretch here. I was always looking for a Safffron Mango coloured V70R like yours, but the are extremely rare and expensive on the other side of the pond. But honestly, I've been owning this one for almost 2 years now and I somehow appreciate Nautic Blue more and more each day - there's something about it being very settle. And I'm so happy to have a manual, as driving an automatic is a completely different experience (still super enjoyable though) Regarding the badging positioning - it is so bad that it's almost good, that's why I still hesitate to fix it ))
@@carfrenzy4311 My car was automatic when I bought it, but I swapped in an M58 transmission I was able to source out of Canada. The difference is night and day. I also installed a Quaife LSD in it, which helped a lot. You can use the Quaife intended for the M66, it fits with minor modifications. I’d highly recommend that upgrade. I was teasing about the badges, mine are also in non-factory configuration. You do you! Who cares what anyone says!!
@@5ivebanger i bought an automatic v70 t5 about a month ago, my first automatic car as manual V70's are rare here in australia aswell, hate it... i thought i could live with an automatic but god its so boring.
