I was a Paul Mitchell Educator for several years, and it was one of the most influential periods of my life. "... with $700 and a dream" was at the beginning of each of my classes...I met John Paul and his wife Eliose, in Vegas at one of our shows, where JP hosted Tony Robbins, i was invited to sit at their table, can you believe a small town Canadian girl..I will never forget the experience nor the influence all of the positive energy around these wonderful people that educated and inspired thousands of people.. thank you John Paul🙏🕊
I've probably listened to most of Tom's interviews, and let me tell you.... THIS ONE was one of the most powerful and inspiring interview for me. I listened to it 3 times in a row. Wow! THIS MAN is what everyone should aspire to be more like!! This man perfectly understood what one of my favorite quote from Zig Ziglar means... "you can get everything you want in life, if only you'll give enough other people what they want!" THIS MAN is what any REAL leader who wants to be successful should be like!👍
Tom has lots of great people on.... But JP really resonated with me more than most of his guests... Authenticity of his not quitting and learning from his failures and what it taught him.... and all while being the best.... I could die in peace knowing that my own path has not been in vain.

I remember going to a hair salon back in the mid-'80s at a place called John Jay hair salon In Metairie, LA at Lakeside shopping mall which sold many John Paul Mitchell hair products like hair gels. I remember buying them and using them for many years thinking they were great products. John is a great guy from a humble beginning and with honor and decency. I learned a lot just by watching this video and applying his teaching to my life. Thank you, John!!
John Paul has a wonderful positivity and energy, he's so humble and polite. It shows that you don't have to be a jerk to be successful. Thanks for the episode Tom.

✨So incredibly FULL-filling to watch and listen to John Paul Dejoria 🙌🏽 ..thank you for this incredible interview (seems I’m finding it 5yrs after it was recorded…timeless)! His wisdom, brilliant ‘common sense,’ valuable street smarts, and incredible SPIRIT all comes thru so clearly even in just the tone of his voice. His gratitude and attitude towards every step of his life is inspiring and a lesson all in itself! He deserves all he has earned! That’s what feels good. What a wonderful man-a wise and caring father figure for everyone. It's nice to hear being decent can also make money. The world, and especially this country needs to hear his philosophy of being a kind and reasonable person-that is true intelligence. Caring about his employees and treating them with respect (like sentient beings) is a good reminder for corporate America bc being greedy and saving the top few while sacrificing everyone else is not right. Basic laws of Karma. I also love how he puts it right by saying people in charge are supposed to set the example of how to lead by collaborating with the group rather than just being bossy with an inflated ego that only serves to make everything stressful and low vibrational. He walks his talk and he is a refreshing example of what we need to aspire to. Thank you! 🙏🌈

Managing money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times while others tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too, jokingly.
investors should exercise caution with their exposure and exercise caution when considering new investments, particularly during periods of inflation. It is advisable to seek guidance from a professional or trusted advisor in order to navigate this recession and achieve potential high yields.

I wish people associated success with how happy you truly feel inside regardless of your social statue and the amount of money you have. Having worked with plenty of billionaires for more than a decade, I rarely met one who was truly happy with his life choices cause they get bored of money and it never bring happiness to them. The happiest person I ve ever met was a Sikh indian working in a school for orphans, the glow of happiness was priceless and rarely seen in the world of billionaires....don't evaluate success with money, it s bullshit!

You are not in a selling biz...you're in an reordering business- what an insight !!!
😊 I met him at a Beauty/Barber show in 1984-5. He went out of his way to bring me a thank-you gift of Paul Mitchell products and a thoughtfully-written card!🕊🙏🎵 He stood at the hotel desk smiling, and I will be a forever customer with a great memory!
I feel like someone learning from a Grandpa. They way Mr Dejoria speaks, they way he's so free with advice, it's like he's addressing his grandchildren. Thank you sir. I really appreciate all you have shared with this audience and also the world.
I used to get such advice from my Dad lost him a couple of years ago. It felt a bit like the way he used to speak to me. Mr. Dejoria has this warmth to his communication in this interview.
In 2 years you will look like him
I was a Paul Mitchell Educator for several years, and it was one of the most influential periods of my life.
"... with $700 and a dream" was at the beginning of each of my classes...I met John Paul and his wife Eliose, in Vegas at one of our shows, where JP hosted Tony Robbins, i was invited to sit at their table, can you believe a small town Canadian girl..I will never forget the experience nor the influence all of the positive energy around these wonderful people that educated and inspired thousands of people.. thank you John Paul🙏🕊
"you can get everything you want in life, if only you'll give enough other people what they want!"
THIS MAN is what any REAL leader who wants to be successful should be like!👍
Tom has lots of great people on.... But JP really resonated with me more than most of his guests...
Authenticity of his not quitting and learning from his failures and what it taught him.... and all while being the best....
I could die in peace knowing that my own path has not been in vain.
WOW!!!!!😱😱😱 Tom and the Team thank you very much for bringing John Paul he is the teacher of business of our time I appreciate it, in fact WE appreciate it as student of Impact Theory.
Awesome! Really glad that JP resonated with you!
Having worked for JP when they first started the company, I can tell you he is a very sincere, giving man!
One of my favorite episodes ever! John Paul is an inspiration and just incredible human being. Love him! His company Paul Mitchell’s is a big supporter for the non profit organization “No Limits” which helps children with hearing loss. My son is lucky to be a part of No Limits and thanks to John Paul, and his continued work in philanthropy, my son benefits from this. A big Thank you to Tom and your IT team for continuing to bring outstanding quality and relevant messages. The impact is positive and runs deep. 😘👌🏽
I remember going to a hair salon back in the mid-'80s
at a place called John Jay hair salon In Metairie, LA at Lakeside shopping
mall which sold many John Paul Mitchell
hair products like hair gels. I remember buying them and using them for many years
thinking they were great products. John is a great guy from a humble beginning and
with honor and decency. I learned a lot just by watching this video and applying his teaching
to my life. Thank you, John!!
John Paul has a wonderful positivity and energy, he's so humble and polite. It shows that you don't have to be a jerk to be successful. Thanks for the episode Tom.
The 4 P's!!!! Profit, People, B
be Positive, Planet! If all businesses have those principles, there's always a better place for us today and in the future!
❤🙏 Such an amazing man!
I worked in the beauty industry and have met him. He truly is such a good person.
I never knew who John Paul Dejoria was--just stumbled upon this interview. I am impressed what a class act he is. Great interview really enjoyed!! Great life lessons I can pass along to my 7 year old son.
I absolutely believe a smile could save a soul. Smile often we all need to see each other's smile 😁
He is warm & kind. Happiness comes in many forms where money cannot buy. He is really a very lucky man.
Door to door marketing is for the courageous . thank you Tom for bringing J.P Dejoria , we love him.
About to turn 36 in a few days and I am so excited to listen to this after that amazing introduction. It's never too late to start, no matter what age you are.
What do you plan to start?
This was one of the best interviews I have ever seen. Such an inspiring and good human being.
I’ll watch this more than a few times. ✨
And, Tom Bilyeu’s interview ‘cadence’ - questioning, LISTENING, interaction - with his guests is the best!!! 👏🏽👏🏽( That can make or break any interview or discussion). ☺️
Agree this was excellent frfr . I am so inspired 🥲💧
Incredible story! His voice is warm and fuzzy. These interviews are more valuable to me than my college lectures.
I totally agree with you!
@@gracelandenterprises2536 me too
This interview literally brought tears to my eyes when he talked about his mission work in Africa! Definitely he is a happy man because his work serves a greater purpose that getting a paycheck! That’s what happiness is for me… living and working for a greater purpose!
That's because college lectures are there to just indoctrate us unless their statistics classes, programming or math classes.
I would hope so.
I love his attitude towards his company culture and serving people - You can tell it is truly genuine!
Life is full of scary things but don’t let fear stop us what we want to achieve. Face your fear and never lose the hope. Because we need to remember that every human being born with nothing.
You brought tears to my eyes when you said he was leaving money on the table to not0 hurt the people who helped him ...
I made up to $65,750 a day
What a nice and humble man and a real example to follow.
I am so proud to be a Paul Mitchell student!
I am a hairstylist following my dream to become a full time artist! Just starting my journey Thankyou for such a valuable interview! Thankyou so much!

I think it's brilliant to use brokerage advisor for investing! Prior to speaking with an advisor I was actually suffering an investing nightmare during the economic crash in March 2020. In summary, with the help of my advisor, I have so far grown my initial $120k investment to over $550
I am from the Big Island of Hawaii and I grew up around Harry and Sandy McDonald and their kids in Ookala Mauka. Harry and Sandy worked on the Ava pui farm in Paauilo Mauka. They also helped caretake the Bali House. Any way. What a awesome story and I can see why Harry and Sandy worked with joy and gratitude. Aloha and God Bless
Old video is a gold mine! What a treasure of wisdom and real ethical success!
This was one your best videos. This guy is on my bucket list as a person to meet - for now I will support one of his non profits. Great interview 👍🏾
This interview reminded me of who I want to be as a an entrepreneur and most importantly as a person. John Paul's blueprint for business and philosophy on life and people is beyond authentic and genuine. It has truly awakened me from my recent slumber. I am ready to get back in the game and be the winner that I was born to be. Thanks Tom for sharing probably the most transformative interviews I've yet to see. The best content ever!!!!
Love his values, his dignity and his sense of love and care for others. If more billionaires were like him the impact on our world would be felt.
That was fantastic. Thank you for this interview!
Tom, you are one of my mentors, together with Tony Robbins, Eckhart Tolle, etc. Your efforts have made sure that people like me, receives this teaching even 5 years after recording it. With your channel you are engraving it in stone. Thank you Sir
Yes!
Every family has that one person who breaks the family financial struggle. I hope you become the one💯
A day doesnt go by in which i dont see at least 3 interviews!! Thank you Tom, these lessons i learn everyday in impact theory will be with me throughout my life!
One day i'll become stratosfericly successful just so i can go on the show and thank you guys personaly! God bless
I was a home improvement sales guy in LA and OC twenty years ago. We had to knock doors for a month to get the leads. What an eye opener. Def made me a much better closer learning that.
Sir, your communication skills are top notch. I can't think of any other global leader who has such a soothing and compassionate voice.
I worked with John Paul in several capacities in Texas . I learned a lot about dealing with people. He is such an incredible human
Thank you! 🙏🌈
7 mins in and I’ve already learned some real jewels and understand exactly why he’s so successful. A powerful man!
I made up to $65,750 a day
he's so polite and humble .
We are in the same profession . At the age of 22 I was trained in the university of hard knocks. Knocking the door to deal sets of Encyclopedia... We r are riding in the same boat . You are very successful. Thank u it inspired other people . am happy for your success..
@@emiliabucks33 This is superb! Information, as a noob it gets quite difficult to handle all of this and staying informed is a major cause, how do you go about this are you a pro investor?
Through closely monitoring the performance of my portfolio, I have witnessed a remarkable growth of $486k in the last six month. This experience has shed light on why experienced traders are able to generate substantial returns even in lesser-known markets. It is safe to say that this bold decision has been one of the most impactful choices I have made recently….
@@emiliabucks33 wow ,that’s stirring! Do you mind connecting me to your advisor please. I desperately need one to diversified my portfolio
The adviser I'm in touch with is Christine Jane Mclean She works with Merrill, Pierce, Smith incorporated and interviewed on CNBC Television. You can use something else, for me her strategy works hence my result. She provides entry and exit point for the securities I focus on.
Fantastic tips on interviewing, on not giving up, and just work hard and be yourself. Amazing, thank You JPD!
Stocks & Bitcoin, forex and cryptocurrency are falling and bond yields are rising, but markets still don't seem convinced the Federal Reserve will pursue plans to keep increasing interest rates until inflation is under control. I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $150,000 stock portfolio, what's the best way to take advantage of this bear market?
These strategies are quite rigorous for the regular. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skillset.
I’ve been on b0th end of the spectrum, I was investing on my own for about years, did my own study and analysis before actually buying, things became rather difficult not until a colleague introduced me to my current financial advisor. He has helped me convert my $50,000 portfolio into $250,000
That's impressive! I could really use the expertise of this advisor, my portfolio has been stagnant.... Who's the person guiding you?

Tom Bilyeu , you're the Best man , God bless you
I wish people associated success with how happy you truly feel inside regardless of your social statue and the amount of money you have.
Best educative video ever. Good mindset and attitude for life and not only.
Best one so far! Love his philosophy. His mother was clearly a massive positive force in his life.
Wish this had been available when I was a teenager. Actually, that goes for the channel as a whole. Glad it exists now and so many are able to benefit from the wisdom and experience of these interviewees and Bilyeu himself.
Glad you liked this one. JP is incredible! I really loved interviewing him.
wow prob first video seem on this channel for less than 1 hour! concise brilliant information.. this man knows how to value his time and get to the point fast! great video! more of these please -short succinct and impactful!!

I've watched a lot of Impact Theory, but this, brought copious quantity of tears to my eyes. I love life this way. I connect with John Paul D, I cherish and I'm grateful for his kind of success. GOD bless him, his and all in the Impact Theory. Light to all who seek the way through, GOD help those seeking the way out that they might change their orientation. GOD bless the realms of life. Peace, Love, Growth, Understand, Tolerance, Generosity and GRATITUDE flourish everywhere.
I sold Clean Habitats (Kirby Vacuums). People don't want vacuums - they want clean carpets, clean floors and NO BULLSHIT. Don't be stupid and try to sell a product. No door to to door - person to person. Come home at the end of the day (or night) with more than a lot of people make in two weeks.
Now I sell habitats and toss in a Kirby. Do things FOR people not TO them.
This guy has a fantastic message.
One interview that I finally fully understood and came up with something out of it. ...rejection will no longer be the scariest thing to me
Excellent questions - thanks Tom.
One of the best episodes. I needed this. Thanks.
My mouth is wide open. Woooooooooooooooooooooow. Such an inspiring leader! Down to earth, resourceful. Total package.
Also, low turnover = good management. A revolving door is always the biggest red flag that a company is being totally mismanaged and you should run away fast!
The nuggets dropped in this interview are life changing....JP your wisdom is simple and timeless..Thank you Tom for a GREAT interview.
One of my absolute favorite Impact Theory episodes.
mine too! Like the third time I've listened
Great questions !! You nailed this interview
John Paul - one of my absolutely new favorite people. I cant wait to help so many people out
Respect this man , thank you tom Bilyeu
I can feel the goodness of this man from the deepest of my gut! This world definitely needs more people like him -- a person with grit, positivity, creativity directed at a very honorable cause and which is to positively make a good impact on other people's lives and on the society as a whole.
Diana Rose Zamoras agreed!!!
Where are you at now?
I'm building my SMALL empire (There IS a tipping point to wealth), and I gotta say those mantras help. When it's dark at 5AM and you know you don't want to do the list (Workout, meditate, read, hustle, rinse, repeat), I would repeat the phrase, "This is supposed to suck. Most people aren't willing to What It Takes, to get what They want in life."

I needed this! Time to reject rejection!
Yes!
Arsenio Buck I needed this too
it's hard and painful, it makes me feel that there's something wrong with me (like I'm not normal, I don't fit in, I'm a monster....), so hard being rejected
And typing that re-enforces that, get it? Kill your ego and watch all that melt away, the problem is that adults now, grew up in the soft and pampered 80's, and especially in the very soft, cushy era of the 90's where many kids started getting 'participation trophies', and as a result of growing up protected and pussified in those times, see rejection in the exact way you just described it. We believe our self-talk, and if you say you're a monster, guess what...you are. So knock that shit off, that negative self talk is killing you.
Arsenio Buck yessir, i completely AGREE
Such a soft spoken gentleman ~ what a voice! 👏🏼
He speaks truth, I never became a Billionaire or Millionaire but I worked hard, traveled the world, took changes at 65 life has been hard sometimes but good.
I have watched this three times already. I am so inspired by him. What an amazing man!
What an uplifting story and person. Sometimes we get stuck in our own negative situations without putting any thought or action into being our own solution. We all face hardship, and the more I watch the guests on this show, the more I think about, and make plans for the future.
One word, AMAZING! I’m visualising meeting JP now. I will watch this video again and again until everything he says sinks in and stays there.
I've been investing with TERESA JENSEN WHITE's guidance for a few years and I couldn't be happier. Her company has given me the best ROI while preserving my capital and has the most thorough investment guidance out there. It also never burns my money with speculation or poor philosophies of risk management.
