There are lots of mixed opinions about stocks and there projection in the next coming years, I aim for short term solid gains from market correction and I'd definitely jump on the boat if I knew a thing or two about day-trading, but then again what do I really know? @@roykings Yeah, more reason I enjoy my day to day market decisions is that i'm being guided by a portfolio-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time, both employing profit-oriented strategy and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downtrends, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis, it's quite impossible not to outperform. Netted over $1.5m in return on investment, since using a coach 2years and counting.

Na, na .. If it's not a matter to him, I move on. Wasted effort, time, hope. If he wants to say it, then that's his deal. I can't stand when complicated people allow the good people in their lives to walk on egg shells. If they want to live the life of a narcissist! Let them be. None of my business or my job to fix them. I'm not giving or investing my mind, time and energy doing their personal work for them. Their not babies and their not worth the time or anguish. My Dad is not like that though, but I've invested 15 years of my life being there for a narcissist, but only because she was also abused, beaten and traumatized to below zero. If it wasn't for all the other unfortunate things that happened to her, I could care less about how a narcissist feels or when they find compassion at some long and winding road they can't come back from. They'll use you up until your last nerve has cracked. Father or not, I refuse to be their victim. The woman I was with became my friend eventually, and got married. I have been a successful outside perspective/marriage counselor for them, and with their willingness to listen constructively (I am 10 years older than they are) and mutual respect, they are doing great. I was with her for 2 years and then after, a friend/personal coach for 13 years, but I held her accountable to being a good friend, very high standards and she eventually saw it worthwhile to let me help her change for the better and her new husband recognizes me as trustworthy and in a strange way, family. I am a step-father to one of her kids. Today even my daughter appreciates ideas and the work on her personal growth. We've celebrated 14 Christmas's together, the next will be 15. I think my friend is a rare occasion of a narcissist becoming 70% less of a narcissist. I did it for her, but because she needed someone, but a normal and able narcissist, never. Nope, I already know my daughter is not a narcissist, sweet and unselfish, very mindful. I'm proud of her. At 15 years of age she has a lot of self-respect and self-awareness, honor and values, and behaves well. I taught her a lot about a lot, especially emotional intelligence, creativity and being present, having purpose and what it means to be grateful and how happiness is her right and choice to be. When she was very young people said I was spoiling her, but I have proven them wrong, she aims for and recognizes personal success at many levels, recognizes and values ideas for what their worth. Inspired by innovation, I kind of had something to do with that. Even though she is not a genius kid, she will be set for a better life than I had, I did my part daily and it was all worth it. Still going though.

Allah! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter. And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. [This Verse 2:255 is called Ayatul-Kursi.]

At 35:39, I had an epiphany. I learned my life is exactly where it is due to nothing other than my internal beliefs ("A belief is nothing more than a group of cells that have been connected and then reinforced."). My beliefs are the control center of my life, everything I do operates from my beliefs. So realizing this is extremely profound, and might've just very well saved me from ruining my life due to the wrong beliefs. Thank you so much for everything.

This quote is so powerful!!!!!! I feel it in every part of me! I understand in this interview the point of his statement is that we can separate ourselves from what has happened to us/our experiences- to create whatever version of ourselves we want to. That we can become anything and re-write our story. Which is empowering, inspiring, motivating, and so true. And I think the other side of that is just as beautiful.... that we can be so grateful for who we are now ~because~ of our story. Our unique journey; our trials and hardships and successes and failures and joys and sorrows have all shaped us into the incredible human beings we each are. This is equally as important to recognize; to accept our past without regrets or wishing things were different; and ultimately realizing the importance of our story in shaping our lives into who we have become.

For all his success, the real "human moment" that made me connect with this man and his message was at 8:30 when his emotion came through when speaking about his promise to his mentor. That moment shows what his journey has meant to him and how much keeping his promise to his mentor means to him. That was a genuinely authentic moment which built far more credibility in his message than any titles or success facts ever could.

Great stuff. Fifty years ago, as a young Navy flight instructor, I used Maltz's Psycho-Cybernetics with my students (and for myself as a flight student.) We would sit quietly in a chair, eyes closed and fly through each maneuver. When a mistake occurred (or a mental lapse) we would go back to the beginning and proceed through the maneuver until it was flawless, then repeat it numerous times to reinforce it. Magic!

Yes, be excited! Good for you. The power of awareness and choice! But remember, learn to love your neighbors, your brothers from another mother. Hate is self defeating. Be humble, be open minded and never feel like you know enough. Be fit man, workout your biceps and chest, feel the power, what it feels like to be a man. I am older now, but what I realize today, I should have worked out more and experienced the physical side of being a man more than I did. Enjoy it, it will boost your ambition and give you a healthy sense of being your true self. People will hear it in your voice, the confidence and solid personality. Just don't let the testosterone make you crazy and get into trouble you don't need. Be wise man. And it escapes my awerness often I am embarrassing them the way I speak to them so they become resistant.

In awe and so happy for John’s success. This gives me more conviction and belief that new thought science really works. Everything he mentioned is covered in books like Think and Grow Rich (commitment burning desire, mental movie, affirmations, repetition, feeling, auto suggestion/ self reprogramming), The Power of awareness, the greatest salesman in the world, Thought Vibrations and and psycho cybernetics as he mentioned (mental rehearsal) and many others.
When you’ve lived with your filter and self limiting beliefs since childhood like me. Doing this takes more effort. It really does. The hardest part was believing and feeling. But I’m finally at that point. Just always believe and let the universe do its thing. It’s already reality. Wish everyone on their personal development journey good health and success.

@Ghosts,UFOs,Meditation-Music & Crap When you don’t believe something, you don’t give your attention to it, so it becomes meaningless and eventually disappears from your life or you just ignore it automatically thus it’s as if it has disappeared.
If, for any reason, you keep focusing on what you don’t believe, you either going to create resistance and suffering for you and probably for other people too or you are going to saturate your mind so much with this stuff that you’ll eventually start to change your point of view and who knows you might believe (the thing you didn’t believe) at some point, or flirt with the idea of believing it.
There is no real misbehaving there is only behaving. The exception, at least for me, is to do to others what you don’t want to be done upon yourself. Yes that I can call it evil, misbehaving, narcissistic, bad, ill intention etc…
Same goes if you keep belittling your own self with self pity, self loathing etc. There is no reason to hate yourself if you truly want to live happily and be of service, in any way, to others and to yourself• mutual benefit.

    Loved it Tom,
Probably the best interviewer out there.
Always asking the right questions, letting your guest speak when answering your questions and the video editing is done well.

Tom and all the people who he has on the talk are extraordinary great people. To have the growth mindset one of the most important thing is forgiveness coz nobody grows with out this important achievement of forgiveness. I have told this story one of the comments I was tortured n abused by the catholic nuns n priests in India, when I did not obey them they abused n manipulated people related to me. I not only forgave them, but the Indian Armed forces who massively abused n tortured me in Wellington Staff College Tamil Nadu where my husband retired.. We can not force human to obey a God who they want. like Harari says technology is used for manipulating as per their needs. The abuse n manipulation is still on. My desperate prayers for me is live and let live specially the catholic nuns and priests. Thank you one and all.

I guess, but most people myself included simply do not have the ambition, it always amazes me when people say I want to have a big house or have lots of money, its never been my goal for some reason, does that make me content? mediocre? I don't know

I've learned a lot over the past few years that there are plenty of opportunities in the financial markets; all it takes is just to focus on the right thing. Credits to Zach Micah Demers

True, they resurface and take your attention because we have yet to heal from those moments in time. And the longer we house those old vulnerable feelings, the harder it becomes to break away from them. Stay motivated and keep doing the internal work.
