No they didn't. They went after him one at a time. The Dinobots did not even shoot at him either. Snarl wasn't even there. They attacked Unicron all at once though. Watch the Monsterbots attack Abominus all at once, by shooting their fire breathe at him. Abominus then ran away. Dinobots for some reason constantly fight Devastator one at a time. @@WeWillAlwaysHaveVALIS

He was in the island after all along the rest of the decepticons, naturally once they get an energy boost Starscream it's more than happy to pull the plug and fight another day. In the Revenge of Bruticos however he had no problem letting the earth die and get destroyed by the sun since he was not there anyway.
I wanted to find out what kind of tanks Blitzwing and Warpath were and i found that based of the real world tank specs this outcome is plausible. Blitzwing is a Type 74 Tank which weighs more and has a main rifled gun bore of 105mm While Warpath is a General Motors M551A1 Sheridan ARAAV tank which is lighter and probably not as heavy armored but it can still take a beating, with its main gun at a bore of 125mm he can put a whooping on that Decepticon
The real m551a1 sheriden actually have a 152 mm m81e1 cannon that can fire atgm, and warpath is a tank but can use a jetpack to fly actually make sense because m551 was design as a amphibious / air dropped recon vehicles. Warpath look like his barrel have a search light on it. The same as the one real m60 mbt have.
These must be new and improved energon cubes. In season one, they needed machines to convert the energy or at least pour oil into the cubes. Now they just walk up to something and the energy jumps into the cube.
It's huge plot holes is what it is. You found this all throughout the episode. Forget about continuity & them trying to make sense of things or follow up on details.
There are several times in this episode where Megatron seems to be channeling Elon Musk: "I don't care if the whole planet explodes, we can always relocate..."
Man, if Prime and Ironhide had just blasted that huge stack of Energon Cubes at 16:50 from surprise, Megatron and Starscream would have been vaporized by the detonation.
"The energon cubes in Megatron's starship." -OP in The Ultimate Doom part 3. Along with the Autobots shoot and destroy the starship causing an explosion strong enough to remove Cybertron from Earth's orbit, while Megatron was at the epicenter of the explosion. Megatron still survives. Not likely the energon cubes in this episode would have vaporized Megatron.

A fantastic follow up to Dinobot Island part 1 which showed the Dinobots were truly a force to be reckoned with and proved that nothing not even a tar pit or prehistoric creatures can keep them down. 1:16 - 2:04 one of the rare moments where we saw Starscream's scientific knowledge on display and actually trying to warn Megatron of geographical dangers
That's pretty strong material the Decepticons are made from to survive being stepped on by the dinosaurs and being manhandled by a T-Rex and still have the ability to retreat and fly back to base.
Starscream is the only Decepticon to know that what they're doing is wrong, but Megatron just ignores him and is intent on destroying the very galaxy they're in! And, HE'S supposed to be a capable leader!?
Bumblebee protecting Spike from the rocks, with Spike referencing the pain Bumblebee must have experienced as a result is a likely reference to Rise of the Beasts 2023. Mirage protects Noah using his back as a shield, and because that 2023 film is about dinosaur-like creatures/transformers, it seems that the writers of Rise of the Beasts were inspired by this episode.
Growing up when Gen 2 was airing, this was always one of my favorite episodes as a kid. I owned the G2 Bumblebee, Seaspray and Beachcomber toys, so seeing all of them in one episode got me so excited as a 5-year-old.

Have anyone noted part of the plot of this episode is similar to what happens with Megatron and Starscream in Transformers Devastation?: Megatron gets a handle of a dangerous unstable resource, Starscream complains about said energy being too dangerous, Megatron doesn't care, and later on is revealed just how dangerous said energy is.

Which G1 Transformer would YOU want to hang out with? Before anyone names any Decepticon, one has to assume the Decepticons won't try to stomp you flat first. That would be a pretty messy encounter. Road trip, moving day (you can't beat an eighteen wheeler for cargo space) or hanging out on the job with Optimus Prime (gets my vote for best fictional boss ever)? How about a flight to your favorite place on Earth with Skyfire? Or lots of open spaces with a Dinobot?? Or a trip to Mars with Cosmos, Omega Supreme or Skylynx?
I just noticed in this episode that Sunstreaker is just as strong as Huffer, both singlehandedly lifting up a Mammoth over their heads, and he can also shoot electricity from his hands. Why didn't the show do more with this?! So many of the season one guys just got lost in the shuffle because of more toys to sell, and we see some potential for interesting applications for some of the original cast.

Which G1 Transformer would YOU want to hang out with? Before anyone names any Decepticon, one has to assume the Decepticons won't try to stomp you flat first. That would be a pretty messy encounter. Road trip, moving day (you can't beat an eighteen wheeler for cargo space) or hanging out on the job with Optimus Prime (gets my vote for best fictional boss ever)? How about a flight to your favorite place on Earth with Skyfire? Or lots of open spaces with a Dinobot?? Or a trip to Mars with Cosmos, Omega Supreme or Skylynx?

I just noticed in this episode that Sunstreaker is just as strong as Huffer, both singlehandedly lifting up a Mammoth over their heads, and he can also shoot electricity from his hands. Why didn't the show do more with this?! So many of the season one guys just got lost in the shuffle because of more toys to sell, and we see some potential for interesting applications for some of the original cast.
These barbarians are the coolest 😎 and best I've ever seen and witnessed 🙌.
