    Good morning Susan Often going back to watch the older and/or missed videos.
    It just dawned on me that watching your incredible style with merging home decorating and a passion for quilting is the influence for my relatively recent changes in my home.
    I now keep an eye open out for interesting and charming items to add here especially helpful with storage in visible areas.
    My favorite is an old gate leg table I now have next to my second machine. And since I love old things have added a few of those items such as a flat flour sifter where I can leave out the next fabric bundle I'll be working on.
    After seeing this video, I'm making a goal of adding stitchery as love the idea of sprinkling the small pillows in the room.
    Thanks so much for inspiration and your special uniqueness.
    Hugs from Maine

    I’m sure you will have a wonderful time… So organized and coordinated. It will be fun to see your progress. I love retreats. Unfortunately we don’t have any local stores or retreats but I was able to travel to Arizona for a retreat and then a virtual 3 day retreat at home that was a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing your preparation with us. I hope you will take pictures and share the retreat with us also!

      Thank you Barbara! I will be posting pictures of my progress. I am a new cross-stitcher and my progress is a little slow, but I really enjoy it and a retreat really helps with being able to get a lot more accomplished. Plus it is so fun to be with others who enjoy stitching!

    Hi Susan, Thank you so much for letting me know where you bought your pink fabric for your Granny Square Quilt. Just ordered 8 yrds so that my sister and I get the free shipping. Also, just bought the red truck, (medium size) . Now I have to get some stitching cards from Lori Holt. I just love all your decor. Thank you Susan for sharing with all of us your home decor and sewing rooms.

      When I stitch at home I have a small 3 tier cart near my stitching chair in my living room with a floor magnifying lamp. My supplies are in the cart. In my sewing room I have a stitching chair also with a small 3 tier cart and light also. So I have my stitching things close at hand. I do show these set ups in a prior video. Thank you for watching!

      @pigtailquiltingstitching5635  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bobbie,
      I got my pattern from my local quilt store the Quilt A Way. I put a link on my TH-cam video. They have a website and also you can call also. I believe the Fat Quarter Shop also has it.

    • @bobbiedovin2303
      @bobbiedovin2303 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you. What size of cloth did you make the pillows with that pattern

    • @pigtailquiltingstitching5635
      @pigtailquiltingstitching5635  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bobbie, I started with a much bigger piece of cloth and stitched the pattern from the stitch card. I got my directions from watching Lori Holt’s TH-cam video tutorial on the pillows. She explains after you have stitched the pattern how much to cut the cloth to make the pillow and really explains and shows the steps to make them. I just made sure I had a big enough piece that after it was stitched I had over an inch on each side. I think Lori says you need to cute 3/4 inch from the border to make the pillow.
