I love it when I get a notification that you have uploaded a video. You have such an amazing way of displaying your fabrics and your treasures. A very happy place indeed. The room is as lovely as you are. Hope you video the quilt show. Until next time ❤❤❤❤
Oh my goodness thank you so much for sharing your sewing room with us!! I am working on a sewing room in a second home in Florida, so far I have a leather recliner for when I want to cross stitch. I’ve looked at regular sewing furniture but wasn’t sold on it. After seeing your room I think I will get a large table to use for cutting, pressing and machine sewing. A hutch with glass doors and a narrow credenza under the wall TV. I have a large closet with lots of shelving so I’m thinking most of my material and tools will be stored in there. Your tour was so inspirational and informative for me, thanks a bunch! Hugs, Jeannette PS and now a new subscriber
You and I think alike! My sewing room is a lot like yours. I'm surrounded by all the things that make me smile. Vintage Pyrex, dishes and bowls. Plus my love for anything Lori Holt. Your video was very fun to watch.
That is one fantastic sewing room. All the happy colors and endless little extra touches…just beautiful!! I’d never leave the room, especially since you added a refrigerator!!!
What a beautiful , beautiful sewing room. I love to see all your updates in your sewing space. You are so talented in decorating and making your quilts. I will be watching this video over and over again , just as I watch your other videos over so many times. Thank you for sharing with us all. Keep making videos, we can't get enough of your videos !!!!!!!
Suzan I absolutely love when you put a new video up. Your sewing room and stitching room is amazing. Now to go back and rewatch this one to see all the goodness I missed the first time.
So exciting to see another video , Susan. Your room looks very pretty. The quilt for your daughter is so cool. She will love it. Your lamps look great filled with tomato pincushions, love the covered buttons in your Pyrex bowels and a small detail, the barn needle minder on the truck! You have had a busy and productive winter.
I don't know how you get so much sewing done! I would just go from room to room in amazement. Your house is so beautiful. Thank you for another posting; I do look forward to ALL of them.
I just love your sewing room and I especially love all the cute little things you have to store notions, buttons. Everything looks so organized and colourful 😍 can’t wait to see your finished current projects. 🫶
I love your adorable room, I would never leave!! But you have a stitching room too? I have Pyrex in my craft room too but I love the solid pinks from the 50's. I'm going to copy that button idea but I'll share one with you that I've been doing. Just cut out a small circle of fabric, stitch around and start to cinch it up and add a bit of stuffing and close it off. You have a little ball, but when you want to add it to something just put the cut side down and sew through the middle and it's like a little poofy button!
Your sewing room always looks so cute and I love your little fridge and microwave oven! Such beautiful surroundings to sew in--you must feel inspired every day when you walk into your lovely sewing room! Thanks for sharing!
I'm so glad to see you!! I love following you around your home. It's so beautiful, and I love everything you to to make it that way. You do beautiful work!
I love your videos! They are very inspiring! All of your stitching and quilts are amazing and beautiful! You are blessed with a lovely and happy home!💕💕
Sitting here in MN watching your awesome video. It’s snowing outside so its a perfect time to watch and be inspired by all of your creativeness. Thank you for sharing! Have a wonderful day!
So happy to see a new video. I look forward to each one and cant wait for the next one. I love mixing vintage items in my sewing room too. Love your room
Your sewing is overly beautiful as always. Love your tours. Look forward to seeing what you've been doing. Can't imagine having that beauty in my home. Yours doesn't look lived in at all. LOL But I realize you are getting ready for a show. Have a great day.
Your sewing and stitching rooms are so pretty! I would find myself just sitting and enjoying the space, probably wouldn’t get much else done. I love how you’ve incorporated vintage kitchen ware and the colors in your space. Love the refrigerator, microwave and hot pot, so cute! Thanks for sharing! Happy Spring and Happy Easter!
Everything is so nice! I think I will take your idea of hiding my cutting mat by draping a quilt over it! Your daughter's quilt will be so lovely when done; I am working on a graduation quilt for my great-nephew and a king size quilt for my son for his brithday in May. Thanks so much for sharing and have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks Susan for your beautiful and inspiring videos. Recently my hubby noticed some changes in my sewing room decor. It normally looked like an ordinary sewing room. Several months ago 0:06 I brought a white 0:06 sturdy child's chair while out flea marketing with a DIL. It looks so nice with a small quilt draped. Then a few weeks later I added a complimentary fat quarter bundle. Then several other finds found a new role in the room. We're planning on going out for a few hours tomorrow for more treasures. When Mike asked me what started this change, I simply said, "Susan". Then I had to show him one of your videos. One thing I found was a round blue enamel pan just the perfect size height and width to showcase a Lori Holt fat quarter bundle....unwrapped. I think he's hoping I'll stop at the quilt room. Lol😊
What a beautiful sewing room. I love how you have decorated it and the colors are so nice. I just found your floss tube. I don’t quilt but love them. I will have to watch your other videos.
Your room is beautiful. I don't think I would ever leave it. Love the lamps stuffed with tomatoes. Where did you get the lamps? Thank you for sharing. Look forward to seeing more.
Very bright and cheerful room. What a pleasure it must be to sew there. Love the red storage with drawers behind you machine. Can you link the name and where you got it. Thanks.
Oh goodness. So cute! Can I ask where you got those lamps with the tomato pin cushions. I would love to fill some with Lori Holt leftover yarn balls. 😊
Hi Susan. I especially admire your distribution of color around the room. Your frig, microwave and kettle all in turquoise is especially amazing. How did you find them? Did you actively search them out or just come across them? Anyway, thanks again for the boost for me to work on my own sewing space.
I was at Home Depot last year and saw the refrigerator and loved it. I got it and I didn’t see the little microwave until this fall at Walmart. I just loved how cute it was. I then looked up the brand and saw the cute matching kettle so I ordered on Amazon. Thank you for watching!
Lovely environment to work in. Are those “miniature” sewing machines in your hutch? Please would you share where you got them? Love to see your stitching room. This was a pleasure to see. Thx for sharing.
The little sewing machines are singer vintage toy sewing machines. My husband found most of them years ago on eBay as well vintage stores around here. Thank you for watching:)
I love your sewing room. Very nice place to create in. Do you use a design wall when piecing your quilts? Do you move some of your cute knit knaxs when you sew ?
I don’t have a design wall ( I wish I did) and yes I do have to move some of things off my table when working on my projects. It does get a little messy that is for sure:)
I noticed the markers you have on the project for your daughter. Would you mind speaking about then, telling us how you make them please. Currently I use painters tape but I like yours. I tried the alphabitties by Lori Holt. Ended up going back to my tape. Thanks in advance.
I got the quilt row markers at a Staples store. They come in packages for labeling things. I used number Stickers from Michaels and then got safety pins to attach. I keep them in a little container. I did make my quilting friends a set for a gift one year.
@@pigtailquiltingstitching5635 Thank you for letting me know. Easy to pick up on my next errand day. I'm sure it'll be much easier than writing out rows etc by having the tags all ready. I'm basically a very neat, organized person so noted them right away. Hugs from Maine.
Your room is so well done! Where do store your backing and background fabrics! Do you keep your overflow items out of sight or is this all you keep at a time?
I'm new at quilting and was wondering , do I wash my quilts after it's been quilted . I noticed my quilts are very Wrinkly after I wash them. I use Warm and Natural batting.
This is, without a doubt, the happiest sewing room I have ever seen. Enjoy doing your craft in there!
What a darling room! I love all your fun things, too!
I love it when I get a notification that you have uploaded a video. You have such an amazing way of displaying your fabrics and your treasures. A very happy place indeed. The room is as lovely as you are. Hope you video the quilt show. Until next time ❤❤❤❤

Love your tour. How are you holding quilts on door?? Thank you.
Can you show how you make your little cross stitch pillows
Suzanne where did you get the cute lunch tray absolutely love your videos
I got the lunch tray in Cambridge Massachusetts. It was a cute little shop called Black Ink. Unfortunately it is no longer in business.
Oh goodness. So cute! Can I ask where you got those lamps with the tomato pin cushions. I would love to fill some with Lori Holt leftover yarn balls. 😊
I got my lamps at target. Cute idea with Lori Holt yarn! Thank you for watching:)
Susan do you cover your crossstitch with glass when you frame it?

Thank you for letting me know. Easy to pick up on my next errand day. I'm sure it'll be much easier than writing out rows etc by having the tags all ready. I'm basically a very neat, organized person so noted them right away.
Hugs from Maine.
Hi Susan, Beautiful sewing room. You mentioned the mat under your sewing machine was from Target. What kind of mat is it? Floor mat? Place mat?
It looks to me like a mat that you buy to dry your dishes, just a guess though.
Do you use your quilts on your bed or mainly for decorating your beautiful home ?
I love those mini charm ack quilts. What is the attern?
What quilt were you referring to? Is it the blue and green one I am working on or one you saw in the video.
May I ask where you have purchased the cute lamps with all your swing items to decorate inside the jars?
I got the lamps at target.
How did you make your ironing pad with the pincushion fabric ? It's soooooo -cute.
Thank you Diana, I covered an iron pad I purchased from Joannes. I believe it was a June Taylor brand.
Your room is so well done! Where do store your backing and background fabrics! Do you keep your overflow items out of sight or is this all you keep at a time?
I keep all my fabric and extras in a closet and another room nest to my sewing room. I am doing a video on my storage soon.
I'm new at quilting and was wondering , do I wash my quilts after it's been quilted . I noticed my quilts are very Wrinkly after I wash them. I use Warm and Natural batting.
The wrinkly is because cotton fabric does shrink as well as the batting…to me that’s part of the charm. 😍
