As far as "how can skeletons have genders", male and female skeletons actually are different. Female pelvises, for example, are much wider, and male skeletons tend toward larger skulls and more prominent eye sockets.

Before I saw Cuprio I was homeless starving in a alley way. My whole family disowned me and my mother aborted me at the age of 7. I was going to court and Karen took the kids but then I laid my eyes on the beautiful, totally original, Cuprio. My family un-disowned me and my mother took the kids from Karen and gave them to me. I then became the CEO for Apple, Microsoft and Samsung. I became richer than bill gates. I also became the president of the world and sent Karen to Mars.

It's a relatable trait. Most people who turn to a solitary hobby, like art, are introverted people. Plus it's an easy "cute" trait.
But really you see a ton of hyper-happy, cocky-cool, apathetic-edgelord, and suave-flirt, type characters too.
Shy is just among that group of basic-personalities that appeal to beginners, so it's also everywhere.

So, for the most part, most of these OCs you reviewed tended to get around an '8' in terms of overall score. Since it's a total of 15, a 7.5 would be the average, so it seems as though most of these OCs would be simply average or just barely above average. I think that's reasonable. Most of them were admittedly decent; not special, but decent. So you were very fair in your reasoning.

one thing i don't really like about most fan characters is that there's rarely any detail on how the characters act in the context of the franchise they're from: like how is your cuphead oc going to affect the gameplay? what sort of role would they play in the ACTUAL game? same with undertale OCs, where do you, if at all fight them? why? what gimmicks do they have? how do they actually relate to the story and characters of the game? this can be said for pretty much any fan character, not enough people delve into the mechanics of their character, and instead just tell you about their personality directly. it leaves so much room for experimentation and concepts, the personality can be explored in the way characters interact with them, or by the area of a game they're in.

1. 50% Demon, 50% Angle (misspelling intended), 50% dragon, 50% human, 50% dead, 100% immortal, 50% furry.
2. Bland personality, identical to one another, because people don’t know what a real character trait is. Character strengths and flaws correlate with each other, different sides of the same coin, here’s an example: Character Strength: Loyal, Character Flaw: Overprotective. The Character Trait shows that this character will protect you, but will also protect you too much.
3. Have some other sexuality other than heterosexual (I understand the whole thing, BUT NOT EVERYONE IS GAY).
4. Have some random powers (especially in a universe without powers, these are good ones!)
5. Ship the character with every character.
6. Make them “sexy.”
7. Make My Little Pony versions.

a good tip for making characters that has always worked for me is looking at the people around you. for example, your best friend. your best friend probably has ambitions, dreams, goals, and a complex personality. talk to them and ask them about themselves. do this with a bunch of different people. this gives you an idea of real personality and can give you inspiration to create a good, realistic character.

The only real visible difference we were taught in med school was the pelvis and the angle of the jaw. Everything else has too many individual variations.
