My biggest gripe is that mod author consistently used Ezio’s skin as the foundation for swapping model outfits. In one case, there’s probably a good reason being that it’s easier to switch. On the other case, I’ve seen mod author making commission charges for those who want those modded outfits to replace any other outfits besides Ezio.
Yeah, when I request commissions I already know the deal when it comes to what outfit gets replaced, “hey can you swap this out with this outfit?” “Sorry, I only know the file locations for these outfits to swap” “ok🥲”
@@jovakhiin That’s understandable, but for those that do know how to swap model themselves, the conflicting part is that the mod authors encrypted their modded .data file so that we can’t do the swap ourselves. For example, I want to have Jacob outfit replace Edward, not Ezio, but AnvilToolKit will give an error if I try to unpack Jacob’s file because the mod author encrypted.
They did this so that others could not steal their hard work and for users to download theirs just because everyone has a different taste on which outfit they want to replace.
And also acts as another way for them to get paid by others to get what they want.
@@atlasprime6193 yeah that really sucks, I have no idea what it takes to modify a .data file I used AC viewer before and obviously anvil toolkit to pack my downloaded mods but honestly I respect the hustle but if I buy a commission and want to put in the hard work to modify myself without uploading that modification anywhere just for myself then I should definitely be allowed to do that. But encryption on free mods is kinda wack.

whenever i try to install one of these mods and launch up my game,i start loading into my save game and then everything just crashes but when i dont play with mods it doesnt.Does anyone know how to fix this?
There’s probably some mods conflicting or important files missing. I would delete your extracted folder in anvil toolkit and delete the forge files you unpacked and verify file integrity of your game through the store front you bought it.
@@jovakhiin nevermind i found out it just didnt wanna work in my new save game but it does work in my old save game thankfully
@@Th3SaneDane wow, didn’t realize that would affect that. Probably due to that save depending on mods that were no longer present or the save was just corrupted.
Yo i have an issue where anytime i repack the forge file it gives like a million errors of files called cell(random string of 5 numbers that start with 2)_datablock.data and after it it says "Unable to read beyond end of stream" then followed by "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" do you know of anyway to fix this issue?
It’s usually an issue with corrupt files due to previous installed mods or incorrect installation which can be fixed by verifying the files integrity through the store front you purchased the game. Now it could also be a setting you don’t have enabled with in anvil toolkit called “compile xml files when repacking”. If none of those work (try the first option before the latter mentioned) check what anvil toolkit version you have as it may be outdated.

Im having issues i have to put files in to the game directory bc is not letting me drag the files to anvil and i do every step but went im in game is not loading the outfits just the originals. ???
@@anonymousURL I ran into this problem, if your dragging the files from the winrar/ zipped folder directly into anvil it won’t work. You have to take the files from the winrar folder onto your desktop (you can put them in a folder or just the desktop) and then drag them into anvil. Also make sure your repacking your forge file after dragging the mod in.

Well you can pay for commission pieces (paid for a outfit mods) usually u can find someone by hitting up a mod author on nexus and asking “you take commissions?” And they’ll either say yes or no.
Trying to do this with Transmog outfits, but it's not working
Hi! Transmog outfits have a completely different set of steps than one ones I have described on this video. Allow me to explain, The transmog mod made by halzoid requires a program he himself created which generates lines of code to replace certain color options and gear pieces. It’s a far to detailed process to explain in a comment. The mod description of Halzoids mod has a video explaining the process of how to export those lines of code into usable transmog peices, I will say this though you should download a program like raylib or visual studio code (no actual coding required as Halzoids program generates the code for your equipment, all that is needed is to copy and paste the lines of code where the tutorial on his mod page says within anvil tool kit).
@@jovakhiin I know it’s different and I’ve been trying to follow his tutorial, but for some reason I can’t bring up the code of the trans item to copy and paste because I’m encountering a loading error. I don’t know if it’s because I have the wrong program to copy from or something else.
I can find an open the original item code just fine. It’s just the edited version that I’m having problems with.
So I was hoping a different method might yield the same results .
@@JonGreen91 that’s strange Try enabling the “compile xml files” setting in anvil toolkit. Then try repacking. Also there’s a certain amount of lines of code that’s auto generated when using Halzoids application if there’s less are more the file is corrupted. Also remember to save your build tables. Now if your not getting the lines of code at all then you may have to try reinstalling his application as it may not be up to date or corrupted. You know where the generated cod is supposed to be stored right? Also make sure the application isn’t running in a compressed file like winrar or 7-zip.
I have a problem is that with the pirate version, one of them is easier to install mods, the other is for a save game that works for ng+ but in this one they are not installed, what do I do?
I assume your talking about black flag right? Well in any case for save games for assassins creed there all linked to a specific user Id associated with your Ubisoft connect account. You need the “AC Save Tool” which converts the save game id from the person who created the save to your account id.
@@jovakhiin I'm talking about Unity, but it has different cracked versions: Ali, R3 (something like that) and repack or something like that, I don't remember well.
@@user-qr8qq4yz3g ok so different versions of cracked unity, so lemme ask... Are there two executables? (Application shortcuts/ the thing you click to open the application) if so, for the version that it's not installed to, that version of ac unity is probably labeled as a different directory within Anvil Toolkit, Meaning The AC unity you installed mod's for Is only on that one because its technically two separate games in different folder locations. So I would Find Where that Version Of Unity is Kept (and remember where it is kept: example *Progam Files X 86 > Ubisoft Connect > Games > AC unity > AC Unity.exe* ) and open anvil and touch the pencil Icon on the ac unity icon, and once you do you will see "path to executable" Thats the folders you have to go through to find the executable to the AC Unity you wanna mod and install your mods to which is the games "Root folder AKA the place the game keeps its files for the game and application. Also keep in mind some mods wont work on cracked versions or legit copies depending on what the mod was made for.

Hi every tone when I try to click on ac unity it says make sure to set the correct path in the game entry do you with to edit path?
The path anvil toolkit refers to is the series of folders that leads to your game executable (the games exe) mine is on my c:drive so my path is program files (x86)/steam/steamapps/common/Assassin’s Creed Unity. Where are games files are stored is usually associated with what hard drive it’s on and the store front you purchased it.

@@Arxv.7 hmm, try dragging the files into the extracted folder out of anvil toolkit
(in the directory your game is held the extracted folder can viewed once unpacked example: Drive::C/programs x 86/ Ubisoft/ games/ ACU/ Extracted)
Once you done that go back into anvil tool kit and look in the forge file and see if the files appear and if so repack the forge file and Run ACU. Hope this helps 👍
@@jovakhiin I tried that, but it didn’t work and the thing is is I’m trying to use victory outfit mode, but there is no instructions in the description. so I’m kind of confused because I dragged it to the file the mod was in into the annual tool kit. I repacked it and then it still didn’t work.
@@Arxv.7 hmm, well it could be few things, one it could be the wrong Forge file your placing it into, two you could have another mod conflicting with that one that replaces the same outfit, or 3 your anvil toolkit is outdated. Try going to the posts on the mod page to see if any one has asked the same question and I’ll look things up on my end 👍
everytime i download a mod it shows with microsoft explorer
@@R2-D2-V2 you probably have to download either winrar or 7-zip (I prefer winrar) as a lock of mod files are zipped in those folder the mod is contained in. If you already have one of these then you may have to right click on the file and press “open with” to select winrar or 7-zip.

To my knowledge no, because pc allows us to touch the in game files. But hey I could be wrong, usually I research things and find promising answer but I have no knowledge of such a way…sorry I’m not able to help man.

The files into anvil? Well what you could do for now is when you unpack a .forge files in your game is drag it into the extracted folder in your game directory instead of in anvil and then repack the forge file in anvil. (Basically Anvil Toolkit >> unpack forge file >> open ACU game folder (outside of anvil) >> extracted folder >> extracted forge file >> drag and drop files >>repack forge files in anvil.

Yes , search for acu unlocker , you need cheat engine for that
Hey! (Sorry for responding so late been dealing with life stuff)The way I did it was to download a save file with the completion rate your looking for and use the ac save tool converter to convert the save to your Ubisoft id.
Does the mod automatically unlock all outfits?

Hello I’m having trouble with a couple character mods to work for Elise de la serre and Francois Thomas germain because every time I extract the files and repack the data gorge: the games crashes after pressing start on title screen.

@@TempleHolyFathercm well it could be a few things, your ACU graphics could be cranked up, or some of your forge files are corrupt and is messing with the games launch. check running the game in safe mode to see if it’s a performance issue if not you may have to delete the forge files and extracted folder and check your games files integrity to replace them.(meaning starting over with fresh forge files.)

@@TempleHolyFathercm well first, I would put down the graphics or run the game on safe mode (safe mode puts it in a super low resolution) I would start at a really low graphic setting just to be safe because you could always toggle them higher. Second of that’s not the case get clean downloads of the files you want to install (also make sure the mod wasn’t made for a cracked version of unity, sometimes mods can be made for a specific version of a game wether cracked or a lower update also check posts on nexus to see if people had the same problem) third could be mod conflictions with each other, sometimes two mods don’t like each other and causes issues (two or more mods that modify the same thing). Your forge files themselves could be corrupted from constantly downloading a ton of mods or accidentally replacing something, deleting those files and verifying file integrity through the store front where you purchase the game will give you clean files to mod from scratch. Hope this helps trouble shooting can be a pain.

Syndicate uses the same process but the dataPc files will be different, usually the mod has installation instructions on the mod page or labeled folders in the mod file.

Got AC unity today and installed the ACU fixed mod and AC victory outfit mod whereas it replaces altair's outfit for the victory outfit, when I try to repack the folder 'DataPC_ACU_Paris.forge' it give's me errors like 'object reference not set to an instance of an object' and 'unable to read beyond the end of the stream' and 'error reading file: Game directory' any solutions?

Oooh ok, I’m sure your talking about “Halzoids outfit manager” for AC unity, he has a tutorial for how the mod works on his nexus page. But if your referring to the actual installation of the mod it’s actually an .exe (an application you open independent from unity). In the application you can create custom transmog/color sets for your outfits. After you save them in the application it will create a file in one of the folders within. The tutorial will go into detail on where to put these files within anvil toolkit. You also will probably want to download raylib or any other software that allows you to saw how many lines of cod you have.because it will ask you at a certain point in the tutorial to copy and past the code in your custom file into a file in anvil toolkit from Unity. Also, if you can’t find the file even after the following along the tutorial you might want to verify the integrity of your files(an option that repairs or replaces broken or missing files in your game) through whatever store front you bought the game from to get the files back.

i have a problem with anvil tool kit. Whenever i try to run it it tells me to install .NET. Which when i did the same error comes up
What I would do is uninstall .NET and Anvil toolkit and and install a bill first and then .Net

Did the steps and the game crashes
Some things it could be:
1. Your using a mod that doesn’t work with a cracked ACU (if you have a Pirated version of ACU) or the mod is out of date.
2. you had a few other mods that conflict with each other if you installed multiple.
3. your game files are corrupted which will require either dragging in clean files or deleting your files in the ACU and verifying file integrity through the store front you purchased ACU to restore them.
Does it work with cracked games? I have unity on ubisoft connect but i can't.. well, connect the app😂 so i downloaded the game cracked to try acu fixes and the ww2 mod but i can't seem to make it work, when i've been able to do it before with the original game, and nothing has changed now, no tanks, no german soldiers,nothing, just the game

When i unpack datapc_acu_paris.forge the legacy outfits dont show up only the mix and match one which are in the creator menu
Nope, it kicks me out of the game
You may have to verify your games files so it can replace any broken files. Also make sure your game isn’t running on too high a graphic fidelity because the main menu drop fps a lot. I’d none of those work then try deleting the extracted folder in anvil, go to the backups folder containing your clean forge file and drag that into your game directory and unpack it and try again.

@@Bigoreal oh it’s quite alright man, I understand how frustrating it is when stuff don’t work.
So if it’s a specific problem let me know but here are the steps
Download anvil-toolkit and your mod
When you first click on the game your modding
From anvil toolkits menu it will want you to put the folder location of your ACU .exe (basically the application, for me it’s programs x86 steam etc etc..)
Once that’s done and you see all the files right click on DataPC_ACU_Paris.forge and unpack
Then drag your mods files in there, then click the arrow up top to the left to go back from the folder you placed your mod, now your looking at the folder you just unpacked and placed your mod in, right click on it and press “repack”.
That terminal or window that opens with anvil toolkit will say “compressing files” or something and when it’s done it will say “successfully written forge file” and the you can close anvil and launch ACU (disclaimer some mods don’t work on cracked versions)
