I fixed it. Finally unpacked and repacked properly. To fix the unable to read message I just reinstalled and did each one by one instead of trying to rush and unpack all of them together.
For those who have high configurations and yet are unable to unpack the forge files, make sure to check if u have sufficient disk space, you will need about 20 gigs (this is easily overlooked)

Y'all on steam find the file ACU it should be the application click "copy as path" and paste it to where he's trying to create a path to the exe files are. Then remove the (") and boom done!
So it should be installed under program files or something like that, locate your Ubisoft folder and navigate through ubi launcher to find the game install location. If you're having trouble I'd recommend doing a quick google search to help you find it

I'm sorry to hear it's not working bro. Unfortunately my schedule has gotten insanely busy so I hardly have time to even upload videos currently. If you still need help I'd recommend checking troubleshooting suggestions on the nexusmods forums for the mod.
hey, so the game is working perfectly fine but the new extracted and backups folders are taking up storage. So is it ok if I delete the backups folder? Also can i delete the extracted folder? Great tutorial btw!

Hmmm I haven't really heard of that happening, so I don't have any specific advice off the top of my head. If I were you I'd try combing the forums tab of the mod's nexusmods page to see if anyone had similar issues and managed to fix them. Also, I know it goes without saying but make sure the game is fully launched (and maybe load in from the menu as well?) before trying to load up acu fixes. Best of luck and let me know how it goes.
:/ sorry to hear it's not working. You could try starting in offline mode... if that doesn't help your best bet is probably to start the mod install all over again
I wasted 15 hours of my life. My eyes hurt and I didn't get anything done installing this mod. No one on the Nexus forum has this problem. And I didn’t find anything in the comments ( And I achieved nothing. ACU Fixes Neither of the two methods work. I ran the mod loader. But when I turn it on, the game closes. Or it opens when you launch the mod loader. Everything is in vain(
@@Dallin_S I got it right now. I realized that I needed to go offline and I was right. It worked for me, but there is one BUT. Works only in offline mode. But how can I then play without online mode? If I run Unity in online mode and run the mod. Then the game immediately closes or turns on. And there is always cloud storage, although I disabled it in the settings...
i dont know if you see this but i have a problem where on some of the files it says that its unable to read past the end of the stream do you have a fix

I'm having a really hard time finding the exe. I have it on steam and It needs ubisoft login in to work so i 'm checking both exe locations for both services and unity isn't there. :( Help.
Thanks for the tutorial, but I've been having this issue where anvil toolkit will not unpack the Paris.forge and Paris_assets the console says its creating a backup then just stops. I let it go for about 2-3 hours and it still does nothing. Have you come across this problem or something similar? Should I reinstall my game?
I haven't had that problem come up for myself personally, I would try checking the nexusmods forums to see if someone had a similar issue and/or a fix. You could try restarting your computer and trying again.

I apologize for the ambiguous wording... what I meant is to navigate to the folder with the ACU fixes files and simply double click the mod loader exe while the game is running. Let me know if this helps!

60 fps physics patch just adjusts the physics of certain things like cloth to be optimized for 60 fps. So no, not necessary. Also once the mods are installed you should be fine deleting the downloaded files.
If I want to add the other mod versions for different parts of the game, do I also copy and past them into the game folder like you did with the Paris folder?
There is a checkbox or toggle for it on the final tab of the menu... it should say something about displaying text when mod is running or something like that. I can't remember the exact words.
@@lukdan117 At what point are you trying to load acufixes? You should try launching the exe when you're in AC Unity's main menu before loading into your save
I believe you need to press the insert key by default. If you don't have an insert key try changing the keybind for the mod in the mod files (I think there is an ini file)

I have followed your tutorial from the bottom, and i can't load the game, i can launch it, but when i load a save, it just crashes again and again :( I was really hopping to play with the mods you've shown
Dang I'm really sorry to hear that. If I were you I'd try singling out the problematic mod.... try only running with the physics patch, if that doesn't work, try restoring the backup files and only running with acufixes loaded. You can also try reinstalling the physics patch and that might resolve the issue

Sorry for the confusion, it is not necessary to put the ACUfixes files in the game directory, you can run them from anywhere and it should automatically detect the running game process.

I don't personally have the steam version of the game, but if you right click on the game in steam and click properties -> then installed files -> then Browse, it will bring up the game's files and you should find the exe in there. Once you locate it like that you can just check the file path and navigate to it in the anviltoolkit window. Hopefully that helps!
hi, there's a problem with the repacking of paris_asset, it says "Unable to read beyond the end of the stream.-" and "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." do you know how can i fix this ?
Make sure to unpack and repack the forge files one at a time, and if the error is still appearing try starting the whole process over from the beginning with the original forge files.
In that case my best recommendations would be to try reinstalling the mod from scratch and/or checking the modpage forums to see if anyone else has had similar issues and maybe found a solution to them

Yes you should be good to delete the backups (obviously you will need to redownload if you encounter any issues)

You'll have to tell it to download anyway, or turn off antivirus. The file isn't a virus so if your antivirus thinks it is, it's mistaken.

Unfortunately no haha, the first one's a mod to fix physics simulation (of fabric for example) when the game is running at 60 fps.

Dang that's frustrating. You might need to cut your losses then or decide what it's worth to keep trying. Sorry I don't have any better advice.

My game stopped working after I installed the physics mod. Very fun.

Are you launching the acufixesloader while the game.is launched in the main menu? I have found that is the best moment to launch the mod

You should lose it. You can save a backup of your savefile though just to be sure

i got a problem regarding the physics patch ive done the instructions and repacked everything the dlc the forge files but when i try to load into the game on the click anywhere to start part when i click i see the loading icon freeze and crashes how to fix?
You could try launching the game with Ubisoft connect in offline mode, otherwise your best bet would be to try reinstalling the mod probably:/

Double check your anti virus, and maybe disable it temporarily while using the files. It could be blocking them

I have followed your tutorial from the bottom, and i can't load the game, i can launch it, but when i load a save, it just crashes again and again :( I was really hopping to play with the mods you've shown
Dang I'm really sorry to hear that. If I were you I'd try singling out the problematic mod.... try only running with the physics patch, if that doesn't work, try restoring the backup files and only running with acufixes loaded. You can also try reinstalling the physics patch and that might resolve the issue

I’m a little confused when you installed the acu fixes do I put the acu fixes files into the game directory
Sorry for the confusion, it is not necessary to put the ACUfixes files in the game directory, you can run them from anywhere and it should automatically detect the running game process.
Very nice video, but how do I install the optional packs for the Helix rift missions and such? Is is the same process with this video?

Controller works great on pc version. I would choose pc version over console version, I have slightly older gpu than you and the game runs great

I'm not sure what you mean by installing that folder, the saint denis files would be located in one of the dlc subfolders

I believe it is a checkbox in the menu to hide the menu bar and then you press insert to hide the menu itself
I cant find the ACU.exe folder for the anvil step. I looked everywhere and validated my files on steam. If someone could help it would be appreciated
I don't personally have the steam version of the game, but if you right click on the game in steam and click properties -> then installed files -> then Browse, it will bring up the game's files and you should find the exe in there. Once you locate it like that you can just check the file path and navigate to it in the anviltoolkit window.

hi, there's a problem with the repacking of paris_asset, it says "Unable to read beyond the end of the stream.-" and "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." do you know how can i fix this ?
Make sure to unpack and repack the forge files one at a time, and if the error is still appearing try starting the whole process over from the beginning with the original forge files.
my game keeps crashing when i launch with the 60fps patch. I've done everything in the video and I don't understand what im doing wrong.
In that case my best recommendations would be to try reinstalling the mod from scratch and/or checking the modpage forums to see if anyone else has had similar issues and maybe found a solution to them
Any idea how to save the config file for the acu fixes, whenever i try to save it shows you do not have the permission.
Hmmm, maybe launch the game and acufixesloader as administrator? (right click > run as administrator)
