I killed him randomly when I was on Kythera island doing the quest to unlock the cyclops, I had a bounty and he was one of the mercs who spawned lol. I also encountered him randomly earlier than that when I was doing the Boeotia conquering questline
I recently replayed Odyssey, and I when I was exploring the world completing areas, I looted a chest in a shrine, and that triggered a fight with a random guy standing in it, and when he died in 4 hits, i got the message: "Confirm Cultist Kill" and I was so confused cause i thought you had to reveal them first
Nah, you just need to unlock cultists. I've tried killing cultists before getting the menu, but it didn't work. The only reason Exekias exists from the beginning is that he's a non-randomised mercenary
FYI, you can actually find non-story cultists and take them down before Elpenor. They exist within the world but without the cultist menu you can’t see them on the map. A good example of this was when I couldnt find a clue to take down one cultist in Achaia. He’s typically around the shipyard on northern part of Achaia, so I went and found him without a map marker. You can tell if its a cultist because they’ll have a massive health bar when you move closer and the assassinate prompt appears.
@Underhandloki You need the cultist menu for those ones to spawn. I checked for that cultist in Achaia, and he wasn’t there. I went to several locations and even looked for ships, but I found no one. You can, however, get as many clues as you can find.
Bro I was happily playing on my phone with this playing in the background, but you fully pulled me out of concentration with whatever the fuck that lays advertising roleplay was
It might be because of my fondness for ancient Greek culture, but Odyssey became one of my favorites of the franchise. Up there with Black Flag and Rouge as my personal top three AC games.
The snake being in the snake ruins in the valley of the snake really had me giggling the whole time. Such a stupid joke 😭 I found that shit by accident my first playthrough. Alexios hit me with a “ah, I was warned of snakes in the grass… I wasn’t thinking this literal 🙄”
For those who want to play the role, Sparta won the Peloponnesian war. Fighting for Athens only for them to end up loosing the war doesn’t feel right to me. I’m the main character, I win wars.
As a wonderer (the type to walk around the map doing stuff that isn't main), I had killed 7 random cultists before I even knew there was a cultist to kill. When I got to the menu and saw that I had already got some I laugued 😂
I genuinely loved the mercenary system and the cultist systems for Origins, odyssey, and Valhalla. I hope they continue to appear for the games to come.
Honestly, one of my favorite things about tracking down all the cultists in this game is that sometimes it’s a big mission chain with several stages to it or tied into the story progression, and sometimes you can stab some random leader or a mercenary and it turns out to be a cultist. First time I played this game I got the poison dagger super early on because of that and it was great. I feel like Odyssey had a good balance of story based cultists and ones that you just have to find on your own, compared to Valhalla which felt very uneven and unsatisfying for some reason.
Currently playing the game for the first time and I've been all over Greece killing as many cultists as I can (with the help of hints/walkthroughs in blog posts and YT) before go I back to Sparta for Chapter 7: Home Sweet Home main quest at level 44.
Outside of those spectacular visuals, my favourite part of the game is the builds! It's a fun grind getting those perfect rolls for every slot. As it stands for me, it's all crit modifiers.. I can literally be killed by a chicken in 3 hits, but in exchange my crit damage & chance output is fricking insane.
I wish at the very least, each Sage had a dedicated mission to killing them once you revealed their identities. My first playthrough, I killed Nyx by complete accident the first time I was in Athens.
The best thing about the roaming cultists is that they can actually be killed by npcs. I had one get killed by a bunch of athenian guards, and I just watched. It was very amusing.

My first NG+ i got really lucky and Exekias was just sitting on a horse at the entrance to Megaris first time i went there. Killed him immediately, no mercenary grinding needed. On subsequent NG+, I have never been that lucky again.
I am playing Odyssey on PS4 at the moment its the second Assassin's Creed game I have played my first was Syndicate and that was fabulous a really enjoyable game I am loving Odyssey but my god the references to Xena Warrior Princess during the game is huge I got the Platinum trophy for Syndicate and I am planning to get the Platinum trophy for Odyssey then do the DLC.
My fastest Record Without DLC or any already bought Gear Packs, it took me nearly a Day, it was 20 Hours 49 Minutes, 11 Seconds, and 79 Milliseconds. And when I did the New Game+ with the Gear Packs, on Nightmare Mode, had me on 9 Hours, 37 Minutes, 58 Seconds, and 88 Milliseconds. Funny how much times I've felt impatient when riding to the Sea, when your Fast Travels get blocked on New Game+.

Nah I loved AC Odyssey. I can agree with people that say it doesn’t feel like an AC game - because it doesn’t really. But it was so much fun walking around Ancient Greece as Alexios and have sex with all these hot men and to meet some iconic historical figures and even fight against some mythological creatures (honestly Medusa looked amazing in this game and I love the route they took with her story of it being a curse as opposed to just one woman)
Although the real-world mythology was a surprise, I agree with what you said about Medusa being different. How they tied them into Isu was pretty interesting, too, even though I'm mostly unfamiliar with them.
Some of them just require a clue you can get or find while doing a sidemission. But a lot of those clues also require you to keep the Odyssey quest line going 🤦♀️ Odyssey is still fun tho 🙂
The ship guys are so fucking aggravating, but it's sad when it's easier to build up your powers, try to work out their natural route, swim up to their ship & just climb aboard & go commando rather than actually engage in naval combat. Lol
I randomly ran into Nyx in the middle of Athens and killed her when I was level 30ish. Got the assassin rush skill on and she got that yellow circle so I just pressed it and went to town 😂😂. Then I killed the top Mistios guy when I was level 43 since at that point the game was throwing me high level mercs anyway

Im a misthios I fight for drachae....
Loved this. Do another video like this. Like origins.
As a wonderer (the type to walk around the map doing stuff that isn't main), I had killed 7 random cultists before I even knew there was a cultist to kill. When I got to the menu and saw that I had already got some I laugued 😂
Valid. I did almost the same leveling up, so I could do New Game Plus for this. I 100% completed one reign before going to the next to maximize xp.
The editing and sarcasm earned you an instant subscribe (although the video being on one of my favorite games helps a lot).
The Cult of Kosmos is separate from the Templars who are closer related to the Order of the Ancients who predate the Cult by like 800 years
As soon as I heard "Featherless Biped" my mind immediately went "Behold! A Man!"
Keep going dawg great content
Thank you! I have plans to continue!
Im so glad this was recommended to me
I genuinely loved the mercenary system and the cultist systems for Origins, odyssey, and Valhalla.
I feel like Odyssey had a good balance of story based cultists and ones that you just have to find on your own, compared to Valhalla which felt very uneven and unsatisfying for some reason.
this was too funny man thank you bro😂😹😹
You're welcome!
this shi too funny, you earned a new sub
Thank you! Anything helps!
Great video you earned a new sub
Currently playing the game for the first time and I've been all over Greece killing as many cultists as I can (with the help of hints/walkthroughs in blog posts and YT) before go I back to Sparta for Chapter 7: Home Sweet Home main quest at level 44.
I killed the guy at the quarry randomly by killing civilians because I was bored...😂 had me rolling...
This video is by far the best thing to come of AC Odyssey being available as free to play on Xbox live. 😂
You earned another subscriber❤
Outside of those spectacular visuals, my favourite part of the game is the builds! It's a fun grind getting those perfect rolls for every slot.
As it stands for me, it's all crit modifiers.. I can literally be killed by a chicken in 3 hits, but in exchange my crit damage & chance output is fricking insane.
6:38 the spirit of Diogenes lives on! Don’t think I didn’t notice!
Thought I was the only one who still played this game lol
14:18 you went hard on the editing here.
The Athenian and Spartan rulers got the edits they deserved.
You have a future in music my friend. This is going on my playlist
Bro. You are really funny. Youve just gained a subscriber all the best in your future.🤣🤣🤣
Instead a featherless biped. Got the sub. As a Greek man I appreciated that
I wish at the very least, each Sage had a dedicated mission to killing them once you revealed their identities. My first playthrough, I killed Nyx by complete accident the first time I was in Athens.
3:27 He just yeeted away 😂
you've got some confidence singing like that at the end of your vid hahaha
You're singing mate me finally goes to sleep.
Feel free to play it every night before bed
The best thing about the roaming cultists is that they can actually be killed by npcs. I had one get killed by a bunch of athenian guards, and I just watched. It was very amusing.
I have played this game to much that when I hear the main theme my eyes swell up. HOW THE FUCK DID I CRY TO THAT OUTRO
Very well mad video thank you for making
Bro u made perfect video abt my favorite game, bc its my first rpg game that I completed in my life! So this is best video that I saw and I subbed u)
We got an Archidamos and Pausanias edit before GTA6
(i now see why lays are better)
Lay's has always been better. The Cult wants you to think Doritos are the best chips.
So you like bags filled with air and 1 potato chip?
@@gelis07 Every Lay’s bag bought is another shot at getting the legendary chip of Eden
what is with that shotgun kick lmaooo and i remember the poison or fire blades. so random and goofy i loved this game
this is too good
This is my truly favourite game
most under reated youtuber i have ever watched
I feel like playing as Alexios makes more sense because Alexandra fits more as Deimos
I’m your 1k subscriber
Yo what is your build? That damage is insane! Great video btw!
Health and Armor: Can be ignored, but should still be considered to avoid dying too quickly.
Hunter Damage: Use the Bighorn Bow from the Helix store so your hunter damage will match your left warrior damage. Don’t use the right warrior damage. Outside of the menu, they’re swapped so be careful.
Warrior Damage: Most important. Use epic gear with bonuses for warrior damage, sword damage, crit damage, and crit chance. Avoid legendary gear. Legendary engravings are fine.
Assassin Damage: Still pretty important. Consider having a second build slot for your assassin rather than mixing it with your warrior. The Falx of Olympos will be your friend if you do.
Abilities: After level 50, invest points into mastery levels, focusing on crit damage and crit chance. Balance your investments between the three damage types.
My Damage Stats:
Normal light attack - 600k
Fury of the bloodline - 900k
Kick - 1.5 million
Ring of chaos - 1 million
Normal assassination - 300k
Critical assassination - 2 million
Normal headshot - 800k
Devastating shot - 2 million
Pro Tip: Use a winged horse to avoid fall damage.

Trying this for Valhalla would be hilarious
Valhalla is a game best played when paid. If this video keeps growing and my next projects do well, I will gladly buy, download, and play Valhalla.
Crossing my fingers for that😁
Best video ever
Thank you!
Loved it / this was enjoyable ( im a 1% ) thank you for your time
My first NG+ i got really lucky and Exekias was just sitting on a horse at the entrance to Megaris first time i went there. Killed him immediately, no mercenary grinding needed. On subsequent NG+, I have never been that lucky again.
I am playing Odyssey on PS4 at the moment its the second Assassin's Creed game I have played my first was Syndicate and that was fabulous a really enjoyable game I am loving Odyssey but my god the references to Xena Warrior Princess during the game is huge I got the Platinum trophy for Syndicate and I am planning to get the Platinum trophy for Odyssey then do the DLC.
faith sand will guide you!!!! 🔥🔥🗣
Odyssey was my favorite AC Since unity or even 4
15:26 oh diddy is she oil up? Looking real goood!
5:37 aww Alexios is a little upsetti spaghetti
Man, I found exekias when I was only lvl 10 at megeris when doing the spartan nation battle.
6:40
i got that diogenes reference real quick there
BEHOLD, A MAN! *holds up plucked chicken*
Plucked chicken or not, the "Centaur" of Euboea was no match for the Eagle (feathered biped) Bearer.
Of course someone that calls themselves a NeinJa would say Elpenor wrong. After hearing his name like 10 times in the game, you would think it we ould sink in.
Do the same type of funny content with assassin's creed origins too
on what difficulty did you grind the mercenaries on? bc they become damage sponges the harder you go so its very impressive
Why bro saying chips 5:43
Whats your build dude? Pushign heaps of damage, great vid too.

YOU CAN BE ALEXIOS OR KASSANDRA YOU HAVE A CHOICE
Very true!
Yeah but everyone knows alexios got the short end of the stick
Some of them just require a clue you can get or find while doing a sidemission. But a lot of those clues also require you to keep the Odyssey quest line going 🤦♀️ Odyssey is still fun tho 🙂
The ship guys are so fucking aggravating, but it's sad when it's easier to build up your powers, try to work out their natural route, swim up to their ship & just climb aboard & go commando rather than actually engage in naval combat. Lol
The Dorito pyramid 💛
I’m going to need to circle back to this when I’m done with the game. 😅
So nostalgic
I played as alexios. Still a great story .
5 star singing at the end
I randomly ran into Nyx in the middle of Athens and killed her when I was level 30ish. Got the assassin rush skill on and she got that yellow circle so I just pressed it and went to town 😂😂. Then I killed the top Mistios guy when I was level 43 since at that point the game was throwing me high level mercs anyway
