Honest take, unless it’s your job you don’t need to upgrade every year in any way. I have a 15 pro, but before I had a 2020 se that had a horrible battery. The upgrade was monumental for me. 5g support, Face ID, oled screen, WAY better camera, more storage, way faster processor, no home button, usbc support and so much more. But for the person who say has a 13 or a 14, there’s really no reason to upgrade every year unless the new phone is insanely innovative or your phone is breaking.

I think we need to bear in mind that of course most TH-cam content creators would prefer the larger phone. It helps with their job to have the large screen. Whereas for regular person who is not a content creator, pocketability is a major factor
Love mine, rough start but now it’s amazing. 16 hours off charger and I’ll end the day with 39-45% battery with WiFi and cellular use. To put it in context my OnePlus Open would be on the charger at 12 hours with similar usage. The phone is paid off so I’ll probably trade it in for the 16 Pro Max.
Been thinking a lot about going to the 15 Pro Max and so far you're the only person who covered the horizontal hold differences. I've literally discovered Pro Max uses that way with notes and Calendar. Gonna be honest, this is a game changer for productivity to me. I do have a Logitech K780 for home and work and using the Pro Max that way seems delicious.
I have 15 Pro max and its okay size for me but i notice when i go outside alot of people have the 15 Pro instead of Max it makes me wanna go for a smaller phone cause i dunno i feel my phone is too big for my hands 😅😅
I feel the odd numbered iPhones have been more of the hardware changes while the even numbered iPhones are more like the S series back in the day like you said. The even numbered are more refined software and hardware changes. Looking forward to the Apple Event for the 16 series!
@@nevascx I didn’t say the even numbered phones were better. They just have the more refined minuscule changes compared to the odd numbered iPhones as of late. The odd numbered ones are more the WOW factor (13 series for battery, 15 for titanium/5x lens on the Pro Max, new Pro chip, etc).
@@pineapplezara not even close. odd numbered phones had been significantly better than even. example being the 11 series or the 13 series. 12s and 14s brought nothing new over the precedents and have actually unveiled issues or poorly made decisions in design or hardware. The 15 has also been significantly better than the 15 and other than the overheating issue has brought out more.
Im thinking of switching from my s23 ultra to the iphone 15 pro. Might be a downgrade spec wise but I think software fluidity wise iphones are miles ahead of android. What do yall think?

I agree with you Nick I wish Apple would do split screen on their iPhones. Also use my Samsung s24 plus which is the same size screen and does split screen. Very handy in many ways. Keep up the great work look forward to your next video

Out of all iPhones I owned, 15 Pro Max was definitely the most underwhelming one, given the promises and marketing. Recently the battery life has been disappointing, battery health plummeted by 5% within couple of days and the phone is ridiculously prone to overheating. Never have I nursed the battery and turned off my phone because of the heat as frequently like with this one. Missing my 14 Pro Max which was objectively better looking and didn't come with as many issuses.
I have the 15pro max and i love it. The only thing that i would always complain about is the fact that the titanium frame is very sensible to scratches and it loses it paint quite easily, i have the blue one and it has a lot of little details that annoyes me a lot.
i have the iphone 13, I'm really tempted to get the 16 Pro or Pro Max, I'm ready for the Pro series and i'm leaning toward the Max to make the upgrade feel maximal
I’d say the only real upgrade to the 15 pro max for me from the 14 pro is the battery life and the ability now to use type C which my job phone is a S20 so now I can use the same charger.

Upgraded my xs max to a 15 pm battery was a huge upgrade and camera was a decent bump aswell really needed that night mode and I just loved the Dynamic Island and type c :)

I pulled the trigger and upgraded from my base 14 to the 15 Pro Max, and my initial impression was that it is an excellent device. Without even charging it on first activation (I think the battery was around 80% in the box), even with all the setup activity and transferring the data from my older phone, it was about 50% when I went to sleep at night. Being my first Pro-level iPhone I was surprised initially with the increase in weight, but got used to it quickly, and I like that it feels like the beast that it is. I also found that the 5x zoom on the camera was great, and will definitely see some use.

I have 13 pro, and very happy with it. I have been waiting for a model that will be worth upgrading. Let's see how 16 pro will turn up. I might only upgrade if they make a substantial change, which I really doubt they will.

I had a iphone 15 pro max but i sold it and got a s24 ultra.. i am so glad i left apple. You just get so much more out of the Money. I really dont regret anything i stay with Samsung now 😁👍🏼
I feel the glass back different from the 14 pro and 13 pro. I feel it more matte and not so smooth. I know its glass but it feels a little bit like plastic. Anyone with the same feeling or i have falty unit?
iPhone has gotten really stale lately and i currently have a 14 Pro Max and I’m due an upgrade next month but I’m tempted by the Pixel 9 Pro XL as I’m kinda missing Android, particularly the Pixel experience as it’s my favourite version of Android. But I will most likely stick with Apple because I’m invested in the Apple ecosystem with an iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods.
battery life is really really bad on 15 pro max while using 4G/5G. Due to the bad signal of iPhone, it really drains a lot juice for the signal, and this is pretty bad when I travel to somewhere wilderness.

My 13 pro max gave up within 2 years. The battery failed, the hardware failed 😭 thought I am gonna keep it forever but now I have to get a new one!
As someone who doesn’t have lightning cables anymore the only feature that made it worth it for me for the 15 pro is the USB C port.

@@rameeza.s9514 never experienced any heating issue. It was a common problem at the time of the release but now they fix the problem.

Bezels on 15 Pro look like that on the 14 PM. A bit thicker on the 15 Pro than the 15 PM
I have 13 pro, and very happy with it. I have been waiting for a model that will be worth upgrading. Let's see how 16 pro will turn up. I might only upgrade if they make a substantial change, which I really doubt they will.

I had a iphone 15 pro max but i sold it and got a s24 ultra.. i am so glad i left apple. You just get so much more out of the Money. I really dont regret anything i stay with Samsung now 😁👍🏼

I feel the glass back different from the 14 pro and 13 pro. I feel it more matte and not so smooth. I know its glass but it feels a little bit like plastic. Anyone with the same feeling or i have falty unit?
iPhone has gotten really stale lately and i currently have a 14 Pro Max and I’m due an upgrade next month but I’m tempted by the Pixel 9 Pro XL as I’m kinda missing Android, particularly the Pixel experience as it’s my favourite version of Android. But I will most likely stick with Apple because I’m invested in the Apple ecosystem with an iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods.

I change from pro max 11 to 15 pro max and to be honest except from some design did not worth it except the MagSafe . Battery huge disappointment
I only upgrade about every 5 years and that seems fine. Not sure why you need to waste more money on yearly upgrades.
battery life is really really bad on 15 pro max while using 4G/5G. Due to the bad signal of iPhone, it really drains a lot juice for the signal, and this is pretty bad when I travel to somewhere wilderness.
So the 15PRO will be even worse off, but if you want better battery life, you have to switch to Android.
I like the bigger size but I’m not paying $200 extra

is it normal that my iphone 15 pro max when i. charge it to 80% it took 10 h screen use nonstop to arrive to 20%? genuinely question and also the phone overheat for no reason.. why?
10h of soc is amazing.. about the heat: charge your phone caseless, keep it up to date, use cooler when u game.
Maybe u use ios 18 beta and with the lag overheat

That shouldn't matter. With apple finally getting rcs you can send pics n vids back and forth without any issues.
