Living in Australia for 9 years and start to build a family, I really see the convenience of having a ute, and here it is, a tempting high tech product. But I’m budgeting with the high mortgage rates atm 😂

When there will be a solar panel on the roof so it can charge the battery when the charging point is out of range.

@@pro_bean Wow, this is such a wonderful thing. so that people don't waste their time when charging..

Solar panel on the roof will hardly make any dent in the battery level.

a pathetic added amount of charge, you will be waiting quite a while! By the way, that is why it is a plug in, you have a tank of gas to get you to the next charging point.

EV cars are for those first world countries. However, those third world countries, they are not ready for this kind of car due to a lack of charging station.

Not really a problem, the engine can charge the batteries too. Once they are available in South Africa, I am getting one for sure.

Shark is a plug in hybrid which can rely on gas fuel only. The advantages include a 40% efficiency engine vs ICE average 25% efficiency to save money and less pollution, it has fewer moving parts thus less maintenance and repair costs and it’s more powerful than most same class pickups b

It also runs on fuel. So while it's running on fuel. It charges the battery too. So as long as there is a fuel station it'll be fine like any fuel vehicle

It's a shame they couldn't come up with an original design of their own.. its design language is mimicking Ford 150

    • @electricmonsters2024

@@azharahmad78 Yes, this looks like the right design. But it beats the F 150 in terms of power.

there is a good reason for that, do not rock the boat, people are expecting a pick up to look like one, if not, you can always get a cybertruck.
