Thanks for the suggestion! Someone mentioned that in the last video and that’s a great idea. I have just got another camera and hopefully I will be able to set this up for some future videos❤️
A nice, thorough review. And kudos for doing your homework and keeping all those statistics - power, torque, dimension, etc - at your fingertips. One thing: next time you drive a BYD, try is voice-command system. It's quite impressive.
Great review and driver POV video. The 0-100 acceleration may be quicker if you put the car into performance timer mode. Also, there is no CVT gearbox for the combustion engine. It has a single speed gearbox and the combustion engine only drives the front wheels above 70km/h.
How long will BYD NZ persist with the “launch pricing” scam, I mean marketing tactic? They try it every time and when the sales drop off (once they put the price up) they bring the price back down again. I have test driven this vehicle and was impressed how smooth it was. No rattley diesel. But it is quite large for its main “Urban Cowboy” market. Hopefully they will bring out a smaller “Sharklet” version for city use.
Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I think the best thing for consumers is one-price policy driveaway like what Toyota does. It is just makes every’s life so much easier. But then from a car brands perception, the marketing and management is there to do the best to boost the sales
Chinese self-media tested the vehicle range of the same platform DMO. Test conditions: full fuel and full battery, 5 adult men, sports mode, air conditioning at the lowest temperature, kinetic energy recovery level: low, the road is a highway. Four-wheel drive off-road vehicle (Formula Leopard 5): 832 kilometers traveled, fuel consumption 83.3L. Luxury four-wheel drive off-road vehicle (Yangwang U8): 713 kilometers traveled, fuel consumption 72.8L.
Looks great inside and outside, only thing I think they could have done a better job of the front lightbar and C clamps, the opaque white looks a bit cheap, a clear version that completely lights up would have looked more modern, plus a bit thinner to give it that more modern look.
@@stevo7454 I believe you can only get it to charge the battery when it is stationary. It will act as a generator. No idea about the time.
