    Hey Guys
So today I have the review of the Sony SRS XP700 Speaker. I've used this for about a month now and I'm really impressed. It has features like karaoke mode and can be used as a guitar amp

Recently bought 2 of them! I am very pleased! I use them for my studio and make the job very well! Now I know how will sound my mixes in club! Love it!!!

Great review English Dan! I have been seeing a lot of positive reviews for the JBL party speakers on TH-cam. I was seriously leaning towards getting a JBL until I heard them in person at Best Buy. The Sony blew away the JBL’s. Your review cemented my decision - Sony it is!!! 🔊🔊🔊

It sounds better horizontally, you get true stereo separation.

i love Sony because of the srs-xb43 speaker... I LOVE IT. but the other brand (JBL) is making it way harder. but the portable speaker will be still sony but for big portable party box i think i would go for jbl but its expensive to so maybe i better take sony ...

U right, JBL is just very expensive, i ended up buying the XP700 coz the PB310 is so expensive 😫 or it isn'tavailable, but i have to say, although it doesn't have that *Deep bass* as the 310....it sound very nice..

Seems pretty cool. I'm in the market for a single speaker system. I'd been looking at the Sonos Five but this looks like a great option too.

I saw other reviews that said it can handle dust but you say it can't. Also at the Sony store website it says it can handle spills, splashes, and rain

I have the Sony xp 700 and it doesn’t sound like this in person. I was expecting this. Well less but it wasn’t that good with bass. Once you get past 50% volume it doesn’t get much louder and bass is underwhelming. I just got the jbl partybox 310 and it’s louder and has way more bass. It’s worth the 40 extra dollars. If your looking for bass. Trust me get the jbl.

I also have the 310 and it must be down to where you’re using the speaker as the xp700 beats it in every way

I love Sony but the bigger speakers they make are in heavy competition with other brands.

Is it possible to use "Pioneer TS-WX300A Subwoofer" to enhance the bass response of Sony SRS-XP700 Portable Bluetooth Speaker 78 Watt RMS?

I have a question, I have a Sony Shake 10 and a XB60 that I party chain connect together. Would I be able to get two 700s and connect to my existing systems via party?

English Dan I heard this in best buy and it sounded good but to my ears it direct competitor the jbl 310 sounded even better.... I'm not really a fan of either company as I think both are overrated.... BIGTIME but the jbl 100 and the 310 are special speakers.... I will either be getting the newer 110 model when it becomes available or wait and go all out on the 310!!!! Take care and I'm Def looking forward to hearing what ya think about this xp700

The PB310 is a beast when it comes to *Deep bass* the problem is, sometimes isn't avaliable and if it is , is just so freaking expensive

Do these XP500 and XP700 connect with their predecessors GTK-XB60 and XB90?

    • @EnglishDanReviews

I’m not sure to be honest. I know the smaller XB series are backwards compatible so I would think these are too. But that’s not 100% fact
