Another great video. It's impressive how this guy deep dives into the speakers he reviews, and actually spends time using them and thus is able to talk about them in detail (both the sound and the features) knowledgeably.
I've got the XG 500 and it's such a great outdoor speaker since I take it to the football field at my school for when I go running. I've also got the XB 43 and that's good too (better than the Jbl xtreme 2 maybe 3 as well) but this really is a great speaker indoors and especially outdoors or a large indoor place like a mall if you ever played it somewhere like that lol
@@alankrul8842 if you can get it for 170 used in good condition then it's a steal because this speaker has a lot of features and not to mention I don't really charge the thing since the battery lasts a while
@@khalilsubahi1310 Haven't been able to yet. My XB33 has acquired a distortion tho at a specific high frequency sound, annoying me on a few specific songs and even an occasional podcast voice. Has me a bit worried about getting big bro.
@@Broken_robot1986 thanks for the reply.. indeed sony's now old bluetooth speakers had that issue in many models but it was cuz of the passive radis..i like sony speakers cuz they sound really good but what's stopping me from getting the xp500 is the lower volume on battery power.
Love your reviews, Gymcaddy! Please help me sort out couple of these confusions. So, I'm pretty much into debate, amongst these speakers, Boombox 2 and Hyperboom. Definitely I'm looking for a clear, crispy and most natural sound but then the bass at lower frequencies shouldn't be compensated. Which one do you think can deliver better my needs? let's not bring their prices to the decision! Secondly, it seems here in India, the Hyperboom has gone out of stock, and can't expect it to arrive back, in anytime within 3 months. So, if I go with Boombox 2(owing to its availability better ) , does that seems compensating with the sound quality in any manner? Or should I be biased enough to hold on, until the thing arrives back? Third, does the Boombox 2 really does drop the vocals and that sound signature, around higher volumes, say 80 percent? And lastly, if I were to listen, around 50 percent volume, which one would you suggest to vibe out? Do, you think if I won't make it to Hyperboom, there'd be lot regret about?
hello GYMCADDY, have you thought about reviewing the ANKER SOUNDCORE SPEAKER REVE NEO ? if so, could you compare it to the jbl charge 5, or extreme 3, or boombox 2? because it came to Uruguay and i dont know if buying it or go for another speaker, i only have the flip 4, and i would like to buy a larger speaker for taking on the go. I always watch your videos and you are the best when it comes to review anything. 🔥💪🏻💪🏻
Hey, great detailed video.! Can i connect one of this with my Sony TV using as my TV speaker (always plugged in through 3.5mm jack & power cord as well). Please advise?

The xg 500 has much punchy Bass at 60-150 its amazing and you can hear it from far away.
@IBRAHIM Bro the xg 500 has 35×2 Watts. He can handle 100% volume with Bass. No Problem
xg 500 $170 usd or xb 43 $98 usd ???
