older sony like early 00s 90s where the best when it comes to sound quality. but people nowadays only cares about the loudness, more bass and lights. more lights the better.
I got the XP500s (x2) on a deal for $200 each. $400 pr for stereo that will sound much much better at a little more than half the cost. Get a optical converter for a few extra bucks with an elevated speaker stand system and you have the best of “features” that will elevate any party up to 25 people just fine. After that, ya better dig deeper and go for JBLs - Party of 75-150 ish , go for the JBL 1000s!!!
I got this because I was offered a super good discount ($250) on it and otherwise wouldn't have got a party speaker. I just wanted a bluetooth speaker at home. It's actually a really nice bluetooth speaker for the home (though pretty large of course). I just keep it at 10-15% volume and the sound is very pure and the base is so smooth and well defined. I can't stress enough how pleasing the bass is. With the battery life and all the other options it is super versatile and just feels like a really good product.
IMO, anybody considering this speaker should also look at the Sony XP700, which is very similar, but only $398 compared to the $648 priced XV800. The XP700 is the older model, but again, very similar in most ways. Neither one of those are as impressive as the JBL Partybox 310, which is currently $550, but just recently came off a weeks long price cut that had it at $480.
I had two sony xp500 Paired as stereo And I was very impressed with the sound quality very detailed natural and balanced for a bluetooth speaker The only problem is that to perform their best they need to be plugged in to the power I watched a lot of TH-cam videos and reviews on the internet and everyone seemed to agree that the jbl110 was better I went to the store and demoed the 110 and I pull the trigger and bought two I Pair them the as stereo LR And what a disappointment 😞 Jbl is only focused on bass yes a lot of bass and treble The midrange non existing no details in the music And one thing I notice is that the jbls perform better than the sony in single mode As stereo the sony killed the jbl completely

Correct. And that's why JBL Partyboxes are the most popular. Checks all these boxes.
everyone who's going to get this speaker is going get it for it's loudness and bass.

Awsome speaker. I like all the different options it has. The only downside is the price. But other than that it's great.
More than that the radio is BIG, SONNYBALL. SHE IS BIGGER THAN OUR APPLEHEAD GUY.
It looks like it tried you.

Great review and video. Thanks for showcasing this really cool speaker. I would def consider this for the man cave.
Don't buy this.. look at the JBL 310..party box
Not gonna lie, I thought that was a giant soda can with the SONY branding on it 😂
Thanks Mike. Nice review. How's your back doing?
How’s YOUS back doing is not proper English. Please speak wrong.
@@ericB3444I agree with what you’re saying but you misspelled “your” 😂.

Mike I have a Sony speaker not like this mine is locked on childlock and I don't know how to get it off can you help me in any way thx
Can you pair two for stereo or surround output? (Sorry if I missed that).
Yes you can (around 9:05 ), in fact up to 100 speakers
No you can only play one at a time, just way too complicated for software 🙄
@@babahow I never had an issue just press a button and connect

I probably wouldn't buy a "party speaker" for audio files and sound quality. I'm thinking loud volumes with deep bass as it is called a party speaker.
Can this be used while charging?
yes
Just got this for 250€!
beautiful
Superbe 🤩
Damn, i thought the big speaker is gonna be one of those misleading clickbait thumbnails by youtubers to hoodwink viewership😅
Does anybody know the watts of this item please ?
650 only ?
Where can I buy that Blue shirt. Link?
Yeah the shirt caught my eye too
Its costs 500 now
They need to lose the lights. A more classier, refined look would appeal to a whole other clientele.
Is it 800 watts?
No. 77 or so....
You care compare to a pro sound speaker. No XLR input. This is made for the average consumer and not for professional gig.
Sony é Sony a destruidora de famosas.
Good speaker but definitely overpriced.
LG xboom XL7S is much better
Don't expect in this video for sound quality demo here only information 😢😢😢😢
Cute gray shorts
Thanks they are actually not grey. They are elephant. Please respect all elephants. This is they color, sonnyball.
Touch controls are stupid.
Jbl king
Buy JBL...
JBL is way better..lol
Not quite.
@@gabrielmikhail7525I have JBL party box ultimate! Sony is nothing compared to JBL! Lmao😂😂
