You can unscrew the broom stick and go hand-held too, I kept an old broom with a broken stick and use it for a lot of stuff like this.
Windex and paper towels. Water never touches my bikes.
Foo I’ve been doing this since the 90 s did not know it would clean around my 990s. I used to use Windex and a paper towel in that area. Thanks for showing the right way to broom 🧹 the BMX 🙌💯

I find a way more efficient and quicker way is simply using an air compressor with a fine tip to blow all the dust off then hit the bike with a cleaner on a rag does the job everytime fast and easy!
I use microfibre cloth and dw40, I don't spray the bike or bearings with dw40, just put some on the cloth.
For white Skyway tuff wheels I recommend Dow Soft Scrub with bleach and a Scotch Brite scouring pad.

I use a paint brush and a damp cloth with a drop of dish soap.

Looks like it would cause scratches. Unless you don’t care. Hit it with a leaf blower or compressed air.

get a rag spray wd40 on it an wipe the whole bike ,,, best clean ull ever get
But it's so much less strenuous to just spray it off 😩
