- In my ongoing and surprisingly difficult quest to find places to buy English Sparkling Wine in London (you know, the capital of England) I remembered the Foodhall in the basement of the John Lewis department store on Oxford Street had a fairly impressive range. Quite possibly the best place to buy English Sparkling wine in London at the moment!
Another smashing video! I keep saying it but the scenery in your videos is absolutely stunning. Your description of the taste of the wine is impeccable. If any viewer knows where I can get my hands on any of these English Sparkling wines in (Off Licences) Cork, Ireland please let me know. I miss dear old London, although I haven’t been there since the 90’s. ❤️
And Tweedy, love what you do but can you maybe hint at the price of some of these wines? Always useful to know.
I seem to remember Selfridges had a relatively good selection but they certainly weren't making a song and dance about it. A pity. One of the best selections I've seen has been Waitrose in Lewes.
Of course its going to be Limey its English!!

@@paulpatterson3514 I find glasses with a bigger bowl than a flute are better for appreciating the aromas of the wine. Lots of wine "experts" agree. Each to their own though! It's there to be enjoyed, not a science experiment. If someone enjoys drinking sparkling wine out of a pewter tankard I'm fine with that.
