    Taking the big mystery and inhibition out of my project. I love you man. (Plutonically). BTW I got arc eye watching this so I'm suing. 🤣. Can't wait for the next instalment. I'm still collecting my bits and bobs. Slowly but surely getting there. Managed to get a UJ from the buy who repairs our trucks at work. So another freebie in the bag. I think I'm about 60% there with the bits I need. So far I've spent £40.

      Terry, you know you cant sue for an 'arc eye' from watching my videos.. Haha.. The U joint (crappy as it was ended up costing me $20 but since I used both ends on two rigs, the price is about right. I appreciate you taking the time to comment! There was a lot of mystery and delay in my first project so that's why I'm making this little series.. Shining the light on it a bit.. DMAX

      @D Max HI, new to your channel and love the content so far. I was grateful to find them as I was debating on fabricating my own motion simulator however had zero prior experience\knowledge... but that's never stopped me before. Out of curiosity, is your background in engineering or are you self taught?

      @@DMAX_DIY I really wanna do this but I don't weld and was wondering how heavy do you think it will be?

    • @DMAX_DIY
      @DMAX_DIY  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@hippysplace So I'm trying to build it out the existing static rig parts. You could pretty much just drill some holes and bolt it together instead of welding but welding is cool and I only caught myself on fire 3 times so.. ;) To answer the question. just a little bit more. I'll weigh up the changes in the next video. DMAX

      Thanks for the comment Bandit! Yeah, it's pretty cool. I did not know how to do it before starting the SIM RIG thing.. but I'm glad I bought one and although the welds are not the best, the seem to work and it's way easier with a wire welder than with a stick welder.. I always look forward to firing it up!!! DMAX
