    Have tried lowering the temperature to prevent brittleness of the filament?

      I have but my problem is that by lowering the temp, the nozzle closes up slightly and the effective diameter being extruder drops a lot. I have increased the nozzle size from 1.55mm to 2.05mm but still under extrude at low tempertautres...might probably look at a 2.5mm diameter nozzle to work with lower temperatures.

      @@DudeBoerGaming The problem might not even be the temp. As you know, Brittleness is also caused if the plastic isn't completely dry.

      @@ByDesignation My initial thoughts were that the plastics pulled moisture; but after drying some out and trying again I had the same results. When I work with ABS, everything works out quite nicely tough

    Not a good idea to allow water to touch any hot die..

      That was pretty much just coincidental. Although, that being said, the hot die acts as a heater for the. The warmer the water of the first bath the better the results, but I agree, this is not the way to do it.

      Try adding another heater band . Move large two back. Place a split band closer to die and insert a thermocouple to monitor dwell temp. Or buy a thermo gun so you can see temp at die
