00:38:14-00:38:16 the speaker has it totally wrong on this point he makes here. Rather, Jesus repeatedly tells us that we will be judged Exclusively based on our Works - Matthew 7:21-24 & 25:31-46. While we only even have the opportunity to be Saved through Grace because of Jesus and what He suffered for us, His Teaching is so extremely clear that we will go to Heaven or to Hell based Exclusively on our Works - what we Do or Don't Do - and He lists those out Works specifically as: Obey My Commandments (so many places, can't site all here); Believe and be Baptized Mark 16:16; receive Jesus through the Eucharist aka Holy Communion Eat My Body & Drink My Blood, My Flesh is True Food John 6, literally the entire Chapter - first half teaches how is possible and second half explains it's really His Body & Blood we must consume and verses 53-54 He tells us that if we don't, then we don't have eternal life; Feed the Hungry, Give Drink to the Thirsty, Welcome the Immigrant, Clothe the Naked, Visit the Sick, Visit those in Prison. Jesus clearly says only those who did those Works will go to Heaven and those who didn't will go to Hell for all eternity. Even if we truly believed in Him, preached in His Name, and even if we do miracles in His Name, unless we actually do the Works, we will Not be saved. Belief that Jesus is God, the Trinity: Three Persons (Father, Son Jesus, Holy Spirit) One God and that He can Save us, just isn't enough, even the demons believe God is One and they tremble James 2:19. We must do the Works or we'll go to Hell. Matthew 25:31-46. Rather than remaining a part of a Christian denomination created within the last Century or so, I invite everyone to join the fulness of Truth, the Catholic Church, founded in 33ad - the only Christian Church founded by Jesus Christ Himself on St. Peter Matthew 16:18. This Church is pillar and foundation of Truth 1 Timothy 3:15. The gates of Hell will Never prevail over the Catholic Church Matthew 16:18. Don't settle for an imitation which has some Truths, instead join the authentic original which contains 100% the Truth. To be sure, it's filled with sinners, yet Jesus came to call the sinners, not the righteous Luke 5:32. And Jesus explained He's allowing the wheat to grow with the weeds and He will separate them out on Judgement Day Matthew 13:24-30. Yet, it's to His Church, the Catholic Church, which He gave the Keys of the Kingdom to St. Peter Matthew 16:19 and these Keys have been handed down from St. Peter to St. Anacletus to St. Linus and to each successive Pope down to today's Pope, Pope Francis, and this Catholic Church is the pillar & foundation of Truth 1 Timothy 3:15. It once was a tiny Mustard Seed, but now it's the largest of all the Churches just as predicted by Jesus Matthew 13:31-32. Come to Jesus fully, join His Church.
I am a sixth generation pioneer Mormon who went on a mission and was a temple attending, garment wearing, tithing paying follower of Joseph Smith until I was 40 years old. It was so difficult to pull away. For a while I thought I’d found Jesus. But now I realize He found me. I didn’t deserve it. He did it. That is something I never understood as a Mormon. I was constantly struggling to feel “worthy”. Then one day I realized that no matter how I strive I could never be worthy. I don’t have to be worthy. Only he was worthy.
I was raised Mormon, served a mission (in Dallas lol), did ordinance work in the temple, became Elders quorum president, learned about the Book of Abraham's origins, learned of all the other troublesome history, resigned my membership in the Mormon church, took a nearly-4-year journey through Atheism, dabbled in Satanism, met a girl who introduced me to the real Jesus, accepted Him on January 22, 2023 and was baptized about a year later. Every time I hear *Goodness of God* and the lyrics, "All my life you have been faithful" I tear up because God has been holding on to me the whole time, especially through my Mormonism. It seems impossible when I see the veil on my family, that they can't see Jesus for who He really is, but I know that God's got them and is waiting with open arms. Whoever is reading this, you're NEVER outside of God's loving reach. Praise Jesus 🙏
What's wrong with the book of Abraham stuff? Lots of people have left supposedly because if that but I fail to see why. I sat down for hours to look at the problem. There's nothing there that means anything.

We members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints already know that God was God Is God Will be God Forever. We already know that Jesus Christ was conceived by and born to a virgin. We already know that no man comes to God except through Jesus Christ. We already know that Jesus Christ died on the cross for remission of our sins. We already know that on the third day Jesus Christ defeated death and arose from the tomb. We already know that we were told to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. We already know that we were told to make light of no man's religion. We already know that there is the gift of the Holy Ghost and even speaking in tongues. We already know that Jesus Christ told us to receive baptism by full immersion. We already know that, even though we will witness, we will not tell any person they're going to hell because they don't follow the teachings of Mormon. As Christians, except for Joseph Smith, we all share the same prophets and like all other Christians we don't worship them. We don't worship Joseph Smith we simply believe he was a prophet. Joseph Smith was the founder of our church. Like it or not fact is regardless the religion it began with a founder. It seems the only difference between the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and other Christian religions is we don't go around saying my daddy's bigger than yours. If I seem a bit more aggressive than the average member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints it could be because I'm a convert. The slight bit of aggression you may be picking up on is simply the residue leftover from all the other more confrontational religions I was adversely influenced by before I became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Be patient. God's not through with me yet.
I dont follow any denomination that was established by men! They can & are corrupted. I follow Christ's church he established when he walked the earth 🌎 and shared Himself/God thru His/God's word (Yahweh Yahsuah) that's the true real church. Christ said He is the foundation & cornerstone of the church, so we should follow the church/teachings of Christ when he taught it on earth not a church established by men yrs later , those denominations are based on those men's interpretations/ and or their own ego or believing they was a prophet instead of the word/christ teachings! That christ shared while on this earth!
I was a Mormon for 19 years and I was miserable. I knew full well I was, "saved by grace after all I could do" and I felt that weight. I read The Teachings Of The Presidents Of The Church, and I saw with my own eyes what many Mormons refuse to acknowledge. Their own scriptures and theology refutes them! They just don't want to believe it! I am free because Jesus paid for my sins in full 🙏 praise God ❤ My focus now is on building a relationship with God, not to be saved, but out of a grateful heart.
I love it that this Christian man can have a civil discussion with kids who respectively debate with him. I’m rarely encouraged by listening to young adults but these kids have my respect. I disagree with their religion but I can still appreciate their sincerity.
Let me say something about this when God say He is the only true God and he is the begining and the end He is reffering to this world because Jesus Christ created this world under the direction of Elohim the focus is in this World the scripture in John 1:1-3 it was reffering to this world and Juridiction. Therefore that was the focus to keep us to him. This world and the universe.
It's not just young adults. Civil discussion in general is in and of itself an extremely difficult thing, more so when you're talking about something that cuts to the deepest part of your psyche, or soul, and religious discussions and philosophical discussions tend to do that. Most people fill those discussion with awkward smiles and filler words and scattered logic, and pretend that it is civil. True civil discussion requires a serious confrontation for yourself to be ready and have your soul in the front line and ready for the attacks, and by chance that you're wrong, you have to make yourself ready to genuinely accept the right answer.

@@elijahthemessengermalachi3105 I'm not sure if you're trolling or if you simply just haven't read through all of Matthew but this is a blatant misunderstanding of the text at least. In Matthew 19:8-11 we read that Jesus tells his apostles that divorce is only acceptable in cases of adultery. He apostles respond by saying that it is essentially better not to marry at all. Jesus replies with Matthew 19:12 which must be taken in context with the previous verses. They were not discussing homosexuality at all! They were discussing those who had the strength to not marry and stay celibate or those who were born without any sexual desire. If you can't be rich and a Christian, what would you say about Joseph of Arimathea? 1 Chronicles 29:12-16 states that all riches belong to God and that he bestows them upon people as he sees fit. During this time I went to church with them and heard many members share their testimony. They were so disappointed when I didn’t gain a testimony of Joseph Smith and the LDS church. They asked me to share my testimony at the end of the 6 weeks. I shared my testimony of accepting Christ alone for salvation, by GRACE alone. I said that I had quietly, patiently listened to everything they wanted me to know and asked if they would now give me equal time to share what I believe. They didn’t. They never had any contact with me again. I admire these young LDS men for being willing to engage and listen to your points.

Jesus Christ said that there was heaven or hell. Even the Book of Mormon teaches heaven or hell. There is a unique glory/ beauty of things that God has created in the heavens. The sun, moon, and stars. There is a unique glory/ beauty of things created on the earth. So also is the resurrection. Everyone will be resurrected and face God. Every will receive an incorruptible body that will last forever in either heaven or hell. The words heaven, levels, degrees, three, and kingdoms are not in the passage. The made-up word 'telestial' is not there either. Revelation 21 and 22 tell us what heaven will be like. Believers will be all together on the new earth and new heaven serving God and Christ. No one will be married. Women will not be sharing their husbands with other women for all eternity. The 'other women' will not be separated from their families so they can serve as part of your harem of women on your own planet. God doesn't damn people who deny the eternal principle of polygamy. My heart. I was 34 years in mormonism, then 4 years new age consciousness ascension stuff. The bridge from mormonism to new age is a plan from the enemy. I pray so much for the mormons as they are my entire community and family in so utah. The peace of salvation because of Christ alone without my effort, wow. That is the peace missing in the mormons.
Similar testimony, but no Mormonism. the New Age must be exposed for what it is, because while Africa and Asia become more aquatinted with God, our western world will increasingly follow the lie of witchcraft. Tik Tok brings millions of views to this stuff and it’s going to become worse. My heart also goes out to those still in the lie, but I know God can reach them if they repent.

@@mrlds3202 The LDS Church fails to teach the Bible's greatest promises. Namely that Christ's righteousness becomes imputed (attributed) to any one who places their full faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 4:22-25). Just as Abraham's faith was accounted to him for righteousness, so it is the case with anyone who places their faith in Christ. Faith in Christ is what justifies us fully and makes us right before God, not religious works (Ephesians 2:8-9) or the law (Galatians 2:16). Do you want to be made right before God? Trust in him alone, not a religious institution, not in works or ordinances, but in him alone. After all Christ proclaimed "It is finished!" before he died on the cross...our debt had been paid, he bore our sins on the cross not in Gethsemane (1st Peter 2:24). Any Christ that requires additional means to heaven is a false one that God warns about in Galatians 1. Trust in the authority of God's word the Bible, not in man. God bless.

I'm not even Mormon. I am a falling Christian in this video convicted me to my very soul I'm in tears of repentance right now and I don't even know what to do
John said that he wrote his letter so that we would not sin...but if we did sin, we have an Advocate, Jesus Christ. John said if we confess our sins to Jesus that Jesus is faithful and will cleanse us of *ALL* unrighteousness. It's just like Jesus told the woman caught in adultery, go and sin no more. We are to stop sinning and have been given the help to overcome sin through His Spirit...but I don't know anyone personally who has stopped sinning...I battle it every day. I do know what John said and take comfort in his words (confess your sin and Jesus is *faithful* to cleanse us of *all* unrighteousness). We must repent and confess our sins from here until the end of our lives in order to stay in fellowship with Him. We must endure till the end. As long as you are turning from sin to God (obedience) and trust in Jesus' atoning sacrifice, that makes us right with God, you/we are saved. We can know we are in Him by searching ourselves to see that we are in the faith (making sure there is no sin, repenting, asking forgiveness, loving others). Revelation defines the saints as those who: keep the commandments of God AND hold to the testimony of Jesus. Those are the two identifying marks of a saint given throughout the Bible. God bless you and maranatha.
God rejoices over even one person who becomes saved as He says in the gospels. So know that His love is beyond our type of love...He is full of mercy and patience for a heart that repents and is convicted. Go to Him in His Word and He will meet you and lead you.

I love the kindness and respect being shown between Mormons and a Christian here! So used to everyone being self righteous and talking down to each other, so this is refreshing to see.
Just had a conversation with two Mormons the other night on our evening walk as a family. We were walking down the street and we ran into them and we let them “ask us a question.” From there we were able to have a conversation and share the true gospel of Christ from the Bible. They even allowed us to pray for them that God will open their eyes. Thank you for your ministry because I have recently been watching these videos and God has used them to help prepare me for moments like this. These two young men were 18 and 19 on their mission in TN. Please pray for them. ❤️ I love them so much and am asking God to save these precious souls. Thank you so incredibly much for your ministry. Be encouraged to keep preaching the good news!
I’m not an LDS but I find myself struggling to understand faith with out works and how I am not earning my salvation. You just explained that concept so well for me 🔥
I would reading 1 Corinthians 15. The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints does not each "earning" your salvation but that everyone receives a degree of glory dependent on the degree of grace you receive. It is also noteworthy that three degrees of glory was taught in early Christianity. Ireneaus, papaias, origen, etc with the idea of eternal hell becoming mainstream in the fifth century AD. The thing most evangelicals ignore is history and the development of theology in early Christianity, as well as the problem of evil and suffering with the traditional interpretation. There are so many holes in the standard interpretation. I would say history is pretty solid evidence for a great apostasy.
God sent jesus to PAY for the holy spirit... through the holy spirit we are saved and with the holy spirit we are able to fight the desires of the flesh... ultimately the reason for why God does anything is that he wants to show his power he wants to bless our lives but he cant do that because we are living in sin he is 3 times saint and that sanctity will consume the sinner or bless the sanctifie... God can only touch us if we are living a sanctified life and with the Holy spirit we are able to live a sanctified life... we are called into sanctification to glorify God not to earn our salvation the salvation is ours the moment you invite Jesus Christ/ the holy spirit into your heart
@rachaelpate2085 Believing and doing are two sides of the same coin. You can't truly have one without the other. If you say you believe but dont live a Christ like life, you are professing a lie. But at the same time, doing as Christ taught will not "earn" you salvation. It is a gift. However, it is a gift given only to those who believe - not a professed and shallow belief , but one that leads a person to live a life full of good works. The scriptures teach that after the resurrection everyone will be brought before God to be judged. And what will they be judged on? The way they lived their life. Their works will prove their faith. Thats why in James he says show me your faith without works, and I will show you my faith through my works. Good works naturally follow those that believe. People who deeply believe seek intensely to follow Christ. Those whi dont understanding this may try to accuse ithers of trying to earn they way to heaven. But that is sooo far from the truth. They are simply emulating Christ. His life was full of good works. And he invited us to do the same.
the fact that they came to speak about Christ, shows that they feel the tug in their heart. I am praying for these young men, bring them home Father in Jesus name! Amen!
They can be swayed. I wss LDS once, and it took many months for me to get to a point where I could accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. It didnt happen all at once. I was not able or willing to comprehend what was being told at first, and it took many months to open up to the true gospel.

@@Kapayapaanman Totally disagree with you. I've watched many of Jeffs' videos where he interacts with people from different groups, even atheists, and in each video, Jeff has always been very kind and not condescending as you claim he is. The reason why you believe Jeff is condescending is because he tells the truth about Smith and his false claims. And you being a LDS member, and one who is whose prone to having your ears tickled with teachings you want to hear that strokes your pride and ego, such as men becoming gods, having their own planet and producing spirt children with their many polygamous wives for starters, your group being the only true church on the planet which again, is another ego booster for you, don't like that. THAT"S the reason why you assert Jeff is condescending. You wouldn't be able to refute any member from any of those groups I mentioned without refuting yourself. So you prove nothing, nor are you special or unique. These young men are to be highly commended, not because of their beliefs, but because they had this incredible conversation with Jeff who repeatedly showed them their errors yet they never got mad like little children and stormed away angry. They continued to engage on an intellectual level and with respect for Jeff. On that note, I love how Jeff talks to Mormons and JWs with firmness but such love and compassion. Never talking down to them and rubbing their noses in their errors but gently pointing them to Christ. This is how it’s done!
The praise should go to the Holy Spirit working in lives! God calls us to have faith that He’s working in the lives of those that we minister to. Pray for these Mormon men, and have faith that our Lord is seeking them!
This is such an amazing example of healthy dialogue about things that matter greatly in life. Hats off to all of these men for showing the world how to discuss your beliefs and find common ground toward understanding. Amazing!
Jeff, this is one of your finest displays of Love for your fellow man I have ever witnessed. As an EX-mormon, I am so grateful that you are a man of God sharing the Truth to the Mormon's who have been falsely indoctrinated. Your moral conviction and integrity is so inspiring and soothing to me. You are on my bucketlist as someone I would love to meet and hug as a brother. Keep fighting the good fight Jeff !!!
I’d have to disagree. I am not in favor of how Jeff handles these situations, review the footage again and see who’s doing the talking. He interrupts constantly and keeps bringing the subject back to what he wants it to be. Jeff is fundamentally flawed in his logic, but he is a VERY skilled debater. Props to these boys for trying. If Jeff really ‘loved’ these people he’d listen to what they’re saying, not how he can win the debate by twisting their words and by referencing the same Isaiah, Romans, Deuteronomy, and Galatians verses taken out of context.
"I've done nothing to deserve salvation," 5 seconds later, "I've turned from sin to trust in Him." this is the application of our action. The only action that we can perform to accept the mercy of God.
You have to appreciate that it's complicated by the fact that the Christian speaking to the young men is a Calvinist. Calvinists speak a different language with regard to faith, grace, and works than most other Christians It would be like a random Christian asking a Calvinist, "Do you believe we are saved by grace, through faith?" "Yes." "Do you believe that man doesn't do anything to earn salvation?" "Absolutely." "So, for example, if a man thinks he's put his faith in God, is that a work?" "Of course." "So you don't have faith!" That's not what Calvinists believe about themselves. But it could be made to sound like they do, and that I'm just using answers to yes-or-no questions. This is _exactly_ how a non-Calvinist Christian feels when a Calvinist tries to tell them that they don't believe that man contributes nothing to his own salvation.
@@jacksyoutubechannel4045 I feel that. The only contribution is that you choose at the end of the day to accept Christ through your actions, thoughts, emotions etc. or not. In the O.T. it talks about certain kings not having their hearts perfect with God, meaning that they chose their own understanding above whatever God says. I feel like Jeff reaches out intentionally to the Mormon community because he's familiar with the fact that many Mormons aren't well versed in the Bible. So when he talks in circles around them, they cave because they don't have the backing to understand the sometimes circular logic.

Wow, it had to be a tough journey, but the Holy Ghost was working! Praising God for you!

Every time I hear *Goodness of God* and the lyrics, "All my life you have been faithful" I tear up because God has been holding on to me the whole time, especially through my Mormonism. They had questions in their heart and Jeff was placed in their path.
We members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints already know that
God was God
Is God
Will be God
Forever.
Christ said He is the foundation & cornerstone of the church, so we should follow the church/teachings of Christ when he taught it on earth not a church established by men yrs later , those denominations are based on those men's interpretations/ and or their own ego or believing they was a prophet
instead of the word/christ teachings!
I absolutely agree with you. Beautiful point.

Jesus replies with Matthew 19:12 which must be taken in context with the previous verses. They were not discussing homosexuality at all! They were discussing those who had the strength to not marry and stay celibate or those who were born without any sexual desire.

What Bible verse changed you that you haven't read in 40 years? I'm curious.
@@jacobsamuelson3181 I was 48 years TBM..it was JW's at my door who challenged me on my belief regarding Adam and Eve in the garden, as they gasped when I stated their choice was right and needful for progression. They pulled scripture from Genesis, and after they left my porch I pulled out my "scriptures" and read the whole of the chapter and realized there was zero scripture to support what I'd been taught in church h a d at the temple.
That opened a floodgate of questions for me, and a lot more seeking scripture to back things up. But did you consider this verse in conjunction with other verses in the Bible. Proverbs 16:4. Romans 8:28. 1st Corinthians 15:22. When you understand that the fruit Adam took was the knowledge of good and evil as written in the Bible. We know that this knowledge was absolutely essential for man to learn to love God. 2 nephi 2. Opposition in all things. We could not know good if we were not subject to evil. Is there a scripture to support you shouldnt take Meth in the Bible? I have been in the church for about 30 years and I can tell you I have gotten passed Genesis 3 several times and the only context that makes sense is what supports Gods Fathership for His Children. The problem I have with the "Biblical gospel" is that it's a recent invention not actually something that existed in the 1st century. The Bible if you are referring to 66 books only didn't exist till recently. The scriptures used by the early Christians were the Greek Septigate as opposed to the Hebrew scriptures and the Greek Septigate held more books from the old Testament than our current Bibles do. Also, book of enoch and assumption of Moses are mentioned by St Jude.
Apart from this, the earliest codexes from which our Bible evolved contain other writings besides those in our current New Testament
They're both delusional.

God bless.

Ask God. Read the Bible. Find a Christian church.

@@brentryan2047
The only one historically founded by Jesus Christ upon the Apostles and continued through the ages until now.
The Church which has produced more Saints and has done more for the world, culture, science, good morality than any other.
Home of the great doctors and early fathers of the Church.
The Church which decided which books were considered inspired and to be included in the bible.
I could name it but I won't. You can recognize it by it's marks.
One, Universal, Holy and Apostolic.
ONE- Singular and not many, undivided, "Upon this Rock I will build My Church" not churches.
One as God is One. One as the the truth is one and not many.
UNIVERSAL- From east to west and north to south. 4 corners of the world. Universal geographically, Universal culturally, Universal racially, Universal for people of all times and places.
HOLY- First because its founder and head is holy, Jesus Christ. Second because it has the power and capacity to produce fruits of true Holiness in its members. It is the sacrament and ark of salvation for all people.
Holy does not mean every individual is holy but because Jesus is Holy and His Church through the sacraments has the aim of making those disposed Holy and perfect as Our Heavenly Father is perfect and Holy.
APOSTOLIC- Founded on the apostles and continued unbroken line of Apostolic succession upon the Authority of Jesus Christ. Infallible and preserver of true doctrine and revelation.
This Church is not a priestless Christianity. It has ordaining succession which can be traced back to each Apostle.
This Church is 3 in 1.
The Church triumphant in heaven, the Church Militant on earth and the Church suffering in purgatory for those being purified before entering the Holy of Holies and beautific vision.
Seek and you will find, ask and it will be given, knock and the door shall be opened to you.

Become Catholic we have been Christs church for 2000 yrs tradition is based. Matthew 16:18 viva Christus Rex

The lds doctrine is actually the most inclusive, almost nobody will go to “hell”. Everyone that is on earth will receive eternal life. And despite what some leaders have said, there is opportunity to learn, grow, change and repent beyond this life. Evangelicals don’t have any such belief or logical doctrine for those that didn’t know of Christ. They believe god already chose who he will save and everyone else will go to hell. Totally disagree with you.
And as I stated before, you're no different than any other group who claims to have the corner market on Christianity such as Charles T Russell and the group he founded The Watchtower, or The Muslim, or The Unification Church, or The Disciples of Christ, or The Roman Catholic Church, or The Churches of Christ, and let's not forget the dozen or so other Mormon groups who claim to be the true off shoot from Smith. You wouldn't be able to refute any member from any of those groups I mentioned without refuting yourself. So you prove nothing, nor are you special or unique. @@musicmusic9526 I am NOT Mormon. Don't call me that. Please call us Christians (we worship Christ, not Mormon) The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is lead by Jesus Christ Himself. There is no false doctrine in Christ's own Church. Why did you leave the Church?
I just saw this channel for the first time. I too have a heart for the LDS community. I had the honor of speaking with a number of young men on their mission here in southeast Virginia, and shared my testimony and the true gospel with them. I so appreciate what you are doing. I know that you are not exclusively to the Mormons, but what you do is great. Thank you for your love.
I’m praying for these two young men. God, please finish the work in them. What an amazing conversation.
Pray for me also
I appreciate how respectful the conversation proceeded
I long for a day where I am as educated about the Word of God as you and can inspire respectful and intelligent conversation with those who are offtrack from the teachings of Jesus Christ. You are on my bucketlist as someone I would love to meet and hug as a brother. Keep fighting the good fight Jeff !!!
The Great Commission is not an option to be considered; it is a command to be obeyed.th-cam.com/video/tLPSsepMUXI/w-d-xo.html
I love to see how Jeff handles these situations. What an inspiration for all of us on how to lovingly show people the truth of God. Praise the Lord!!
Hallelujah thank you My Lord Jesus Christ for the amazing grace you have upon me and my family may you truly have your way in my life and in my family
Calvinists speak a different language with regard to faith, grace, and works than most other Christians
It would be like a random Christian asking a Calvinist,
"Do you believe we are saved by grace, through faith?"
"Yes."
"Do you believe that man doesn't do anything to earn salvation?"
"Absolutely."
"So, for example, if a man thinks he's put his faith in God, is that a work?"
"Of course."
"So you don't have faith!"
That's not what Calvinists believe about themselves.
@@PandaPunch I think it was Jesus who said, "Apart from me, you can do nothing."
@@dnzswithwombats facts. And the reason when I talk sit down and talk about the Gospel of Christ with others, I try to never reference anything else apart from what Jesus spoke.
Man does not contribute nothing to the plan of God to save sinful humanity. Man is broken and in need of a perfect savior, God provided His Son , the Lord Jesus Christ who went to the cross and died for our sins that through what He accomplished on the cross and our faith in what He did there we can be saved. What an amazing conversation! I just happened to come across this video while searching Christian musicians. I thought I would give it a quick watch; well, I was pulled right into watching it in it's entirety. I was so impressed with how Jeff responded with gentle, direct, and thought provoking answers and questions to these LDS missionaries. I will definitely be checking out more of these videos. I am just in awe of your presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We once had a Mormon teenager visiting our church youth group for several weeks on Wednesday evenings. I never pressed her, but one night started asking her questions about the Mormon Church & salvation. She was flummoxed though her dad was a respected elder. She never returned to us but I heard through students that her dad was angry that she started asking questions of him. I just pray that we planted a seed.
“She started asking questions of him” (and therefore of the false prophet and LDS) You clearly planted seeds. God Bless 🙏🏻✝️

Wow, what a conversation and the importance of knowing God's word.
Love watching these, it’s such a challenge to me to be ready to defend my faith and how much room I have to grow in writing scripture on my heart to have on hand always!
Wow! I loved this. So very helpful to me in understanding my mormon sister. I'm more prepared to engage her now. Thank you!
My prayer is that every single mormon finds this video, oh how important to know the truth, unbelievable man of god! My hope is that David Alexander will find it as well LO.L

What steps do you think they should take that they're not already taking?
@@nathangarn6918 They need to believe in the Bible and the Bible alone which is the word of God. They need to believe that Jesus is God and His blood alone can save us and give us Eternal life. They need to believe that there is only one God and that they can't become a god. We can only be saved by the blood of Jesus. Only God's blood can save us. That's why the enemy puts lies in people's minds to believe that Jesus isn't God because once we believe that Jesus is God, we have the victory over Satan by his blood. One of satans biggest lie is that we can become a God. He got kicked out of heaven because he wanted to be like God.
@emilyjoanna6269 I find it interesting that you didn't bring up once that we need to follow Christ's example and strive to live like Him. This is what these young men are taught as members of Christ's church. This focus on keeping His commandments has led people of the LDS church to be one of the most successful and happy groups worldwide. The specific points of doctrine you argued have either no scriptural backing or were misinterpretations of men about Christ's gospel well after he died. I'd invite you to learn more about Him through His church and another testament of him: The Book of Mormon.
I really appreciate Jeff's ability to hone in on the point of contention and draw out the sources of unbelief in people. This is the best example of that, I think.
These young men are so well spoken ❤
By their fruits you will know the true gospel
I’ve listened to this testimony more times than I can remember, but at 3. Each and every time, I am edified by the hearing of GOD’S word, and more shocked by the reaction of those to whom you are speaking. Rather than judge them and wonder why they can’t hear, I examine my own heart, who knows the truth, and yet I do not always live by it. Thank you once again for your faithful good works, and your willing to serve in the manner you do. Thank you for your videos which reach many!
These are the EXACT topics I entangled myself in for 2 WHOLE YEARS obsessing over the contradictions when I became a Priest in the Mormon Church which led to my family leaving now we are saved. I feel for these people because I totally understand.
The more on Colt never even had a priest in any sense of the word ironic or Melchizedek Melchizedek priest is the same as a rock the real ironic one by name and an action and subject as you do Jewish sacrifices you're clean you don't do baptisms that's a Christian motif there's an indication of priesthood by the Christian Bible the more on Colt is doing satanic Lucifer and Corruption of the Old Testament or tanak and making it for their free Masonic lucifering cold fraud if you look at the actual milk pseudo fraud and ironic pseudo fraud against it it's anti-aronic anti-malchizedek full on it's anti-biblical it's really more luciferian Smith invention out of nowhere by as a cult luciferianism and by the Satanist freemasonic scammers who invented crap out of nowhere and Palmyra New York and elsewhere. So those so-called fake priests are not priesthood but they're luciferian high level ranking fraud scans of a cultism it's pseudo-christian satanic luciferian fraud which makes it even more satanic than a basic Satanist cuz at least satanists and normal can be outright saying they're satanists these Mormons can't have to hide the fact that they're satanists because of all the luciferian Satanism that's in their cult

I’m a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS, and this is my first time seeing your channel. I also subscribed because it’s refreshing to see a conversation about God that comes from a place of love. I agree with you that Jesus has always been. Christ the man Jesus born as a man so that birth, death, and resurrection can offer everlasting life with God.
And yes, when Paul said there are many gods, he meant that some serve false idols. That’s why our Heavenly Father said thou shalt have no other gods (idols) before ME.
What in your opinion would cause you the most concern about a claim that Jeff Durbin made?
@@mr400meter that we need works to be saved. Always claiming that grace is the way and then wondering if another is already saved. Saved how? By doing something which if not done leaves you in the “not” saved category. It is hypocritical to tell another that works don’t save a man and then profess a condition or work that must be done. The hypocrisy that if a person confesses Christ they are then saved and need not do anything further or anything that they do after their work of professing Jesus doesn’t matter- they are forever “saved” - whatever that means - He claims that unless a man enters the waters of baptism he will not see the kingdom of heaven. He claims that we must give our all not some one minute requirement but a life full of devotion. Why would Jesus go to all the trouble of giving all of his parables and teachings if all he needs to do is say: “Hey, dude, just confess your belief in me one time and stop all this commandment garbage - then you will be “saved” whatever that means or it means anyone who doesn’t do the one minute belief thing goes straight to Hell.” “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”
