This chair was fairly easy to put together, the instructions were clear and I was about to follow along with no issues at all. I also added a pillow for lumbar support because although this is a great chair and is comfortable, it’s not necessarily the best if you’re sitting 10+ hrs a day wfh but in all honesty for the price, I didn’t mind at all. It looks great in my space and easily adjusts the height when needed.

Mine has not given any issues yet, although i can see why this would happen to others. there ones with better lumbar support mechanisms out there if you are having second thoughts.

hi, is the mesh quality the same for both the Sihoo m57 and Sihoo v1? How does the comfort compare between the 2 models? I'm looking for a comfortable chair that's good for my health but I'm having a hard time justifying an x2 price for the v1 model just for the footrest, being able to lean back a bit more, and having a bit better materials. I know the seat pan is adjustable on the v1 model but is it actually that useful? I've never had a chair with an adjustable seat pan so I'm not sure, hope you can help me out
Hey friend thanks for dropping by! I totally get where you are coming from. if you are coming from a non ergonomic chair then just the SIhoo M57 would be make a mountain of a difference. The V1 is really more for those that may have a higher budget and those that maybe already coming from an entry level Ergonomic chair.. the lower recline is not for everybody, I personally like it. some don't.. also the armrests on this one is a bit higher which may be a limitation to some setups. If you are just entering the ergonomic chair market i would suggest getting the M57.just keep in mind that the back is not adjustable so for taller folks it may not be ideal. i hope this helps!

I have both the M25 and V1 right now and i am using the V1. i am 5'9 and i am enjoying the adjustable backrest.. i might get my hands on a m90 sometime this month and i will make a review of that too. The m57 is made of 90% plastic and some areas are hard yes that's true.. i have not yet tried other brands so i cant make the comparison but i will when i get those too. i hope this helps.

hello Bryan, I really find your videos very helpful. Can I ask why you opted for the M57 and not the V1 or the M56? (Aside from the price difference of course).
Hello Carlos glad you like them. That means a lot. The M57 for me was the best bang for the buck. The m56 does not have lumbar tension adjustment and does not have a mesh seat. Both are essential for me, it can get really uncomfortable if the lumbar support is too hard or soft, and the mesh is really cool as it allows air to pass through. The v1 on the other hand gets too costly, for almost double the price you get adjustable seat position and a foot rest, both i think i can live without at the moment. :) i can re allocate the money i save on some other upgrade :)
there are other reviews for this chair that says the seat mesh portion wears down over time. It then becomes uncomfortable because the plastic and foam areas become more prominent on your butt. Have you seen something similar?
Hello friend thanks for dropping by. i have not experienced this yet as i have only been using this for less than a year. Although i can see how that can be an issue. Unfortunately there is no way to tighten the mesh once it gets loose (or at least nothing i know of) so at this point only time will tell how durable these are. Maybe worth a look after a year.
@@PinoyAverageConsumer I have a similar chair with the exact same mesh and it has indeed stretched. More so on the base than the back. As a solution, I put foam in the gap between the mesh and the plastic part of the base. It worked perfectly and is probably more comfortable now than it was when new. I should add that I'm a fatty so for a normal size person, it should last just fine.

The m57 does not really hold out for decently tall guys. I am 5'9 and it barely touches my shoulder here. i would go for more adjustable options.

Are you able to play guitar on it comfortably? I have a hard time finding one ergo chair that allows me to practise guitar on it without the right armrest stuck the way.

Bought from the same person/shop. Mas mahal nga sila compared sa ibang nagbebenta pero they offer 2-yr warranty versus 1-yr sa ibang shop plus I got my chair same day after I inquired.

hi, is the mesh quality the same for both the Sihoo m57 and Sihoo v1? How does the comfort compare between the 2 models? I'm looking for a comfortable chair that's good for my health but I'm having a hard time justifying an x2 price for the v1 model just for the footrest, being able to lean back a bit more, and having a bit better materials. I know the seat pan is adjustable on the v1 model but is it actually that useful? I've never had a chair with an adjustable seat pan so I'm not sure, hope you can help me out
Hey friend thanks for dropping by! I totally get where you are coming from. if you are coming from a non ergonomic chair then just the SIhoo M57 would be make a mountain of a difference.
The V1 is really more for those that may have a higher budget and those that maybe already coming from an entry level Ergonomic chair.. the lower recline is not for everybody, I personally like it. some don't.. also the armrests on this one is a bit higher which may be a limitation to some setups.
If you are just entering the ergonomic chair market i would suggest getting the M57.just keep in mind that the back is not adjustable so for taller folks it may not be ideal.

I have both the M25 and V1 right now and i am using the V1. i am 5'9 and i am enjoying the adjustable backrest.. i might get my hands on a m90 sometime this month and i will make a review of that too.
The m57 is made of 90% plastic and some areas are hard yes that's true..
i have not yet tried other brands so i cant make the comparison but i will when i get those too. i hope this helps.

Headrest is too low? I'm around a similar height maybe 5 10. Too small for me. Since you can't move the headrest up only tilt
best bet for you to get the SIhoo V1, i have moved to that now.. bigger, more confortable.

Hello idol salamat sa pag bisita! i tried that kaso medyo hindi comportable. one leg kaya at the most pero hindi ko matagalan.. saka hindi advisable sa mesh seat and indian seat :)

hello Bryan, I really find your videos very helpful. Can I ask why you opted for the M57 and not the V1 or the M56? (Aside from the price difference of course).
Hello Carlos glad you like them. That means a lot. The M57 for me was the best bang for the buck. The m56 does not have lumbar tension adjustment and does not have a mesh seat. Both are essential for me, it can get really uncomfortable if the lumbar support is too hard or soft, and the mesh is really cool as it allows air to pass through. The v1 on the other hand gets too costly, for almost double the price you get adjustable seat position and a foot rest, both i think i can live without at the moment. :) i can re allocate the money i save on some other upgrade :)

there are other reviews for this chair that says the seat mesh portion wears down over time. It then becomes uncomfortable because the plastic and foam areas become more prominent on your butt. Have you seen something similar?
Hello friend thanks for dropping by. i have not experienced this yet as i have only been using this for less than a year. Although i can see how that can be an issue. Unfortunately there is no way to tighten the mesh once it gets loose (or at least nothing i know of) so at this point only time will tell how durable these are. Maybe worth a look after a year.
@@PinoyAverageConsumer I have a similar chair with the exact same mesh and it has indeed stretched. More so on the base than the back. As a solution, I put foam in the gap between the mesh and the plastic part of the base. It worked perfectly and is probably more comfortable now than it was when new. I should add that I'm a fatty so for a normal size person, it should last just fine.

Hii!! I’m around 5’8-5’9 and I am looking to get this chair. I saw a lot of comments that the lumbar support was too low and it doesn’t reach the sweet spot. All in all, would you recommend this chair for my height? And is it really comfortable?
