This is the type of tilting mechanism that I've been trying to find for months, thank you so much!
In order to achieve ergonomic experience in your office chair, firstly, adjust the armrests to be desired 90 degree so that your arms dont feel unsupported/overly bent (i adjust it at just level 3/4). Secondly, raise the seat so that the armrests are at the same level with the table. If your feet is hanging, consider buying footrest or put some books below so your feet are planted firmly on the floor. Keep adjusting the chair to get the most comfortable position.

In case someone looking for different ergonomic i got mine on furnitura/furtura i forgot the exact store name but their brand Sihoo M18 same cheap price and quality chair. But this was a nice review for different brand as well. Nice!

Hi, I've been diagnosed with Scoliosis would you still recommend this or is there an upgraded version of this? I've seen reviews suffering the same condition as mine the only draw back they prefer more lumbar support for this said model.
How is the comfort / cooling tradeoff between a padded foam (?) seat like this one vs a mesh only seat ala Aeron?
Im sure it's still better than fake leather, but does the seat padding make you sweat during long sessions without the AC on?

I noticed that when you sit in the chair your back is not againist the back of the chair, and your head is tlited forward. Have you been able to find a chair that supports your head and back while you sit upright with good posture?

I do have some issues in my lower back and I need to sit for almost 6 hours in a day. I was looking for an ergonomic office chair to work from home. The same chair you discussed in this video, is available in my country (India). I am pretty much confused between the two chairs: first one that you discussed in this video and the second one is the chair that was shown as a clip in this video, having white coloured butterfly shaped plastic material back support.
Which one is really supportive in lower back?
And overall which one feels more comfortable to sit?
My height: 5ft 11 inches

Damn! I want an aesthetic setup bout to buy a butterfly nordic chair but this changed my mind. A very classic chair design that never gets old.
Nordic stuff are cool! Just make sure you are comfortable. I've seen some Nordic chairs with fixed arm supports. In this day and age, arm supports which at least go up and down for an office chair are non negotiable.

I wanted to get this chair but I'm kinda short like 158 cm and I feel the head rest would cause problems ? also the seat tip is lowered , would that make my hips not parallel? Edit: NVM I bought something similar to it and the back is too thin and backwards makes you slouch forward to work and hardly any back support apart from the lumbar pillow.
I have a different chair but I can attest to the value of the WHEELS he mentioned in the review. It really elevated the quality of my cheapo office chair.

Which is the better buy, Sihoo M57 or the 8-yr old ErgoDynamic? Planning to buy my first ergo chair and I can't decide between the two. According to Cost U Less, the EHC-420 now costs 9,999, which is almost the same as the M57. Thank you.
I’ve been trying to find the best comfy chair that I could use for everyday use for work or for gaming. Years have past.. tried using gaming chairs, ergo chairs and even furniture chairs but I just can’t find the comfort I need. But for this review? I will probably make it a try, thanks for this!

Sihoo looks like a good chair! Looks more professional than this chair too. I can't really comment if I would like it just as well. The aftermarket casters look bigger than those that came stock with the chair, so using aftermarket caster wheels will increase the height by an inch or two, right?

I'm currently revieiwng the Sihoo M57, It's still too early for me to tell. :) Customer service wise, the guys who sell this chair don't seem to be very friendly, however their product seems to be pretty good. If you can however find a seller who seems extremely reliable, I would go with the Sihoo chair purely on better customer service, however if you want to wing it, just as long as this chair gets assembled, you are solid.
Would you recommend this over Sihoo m57/m18?

Hmmm it is some sort of metal but it feels hollow to the touch, so it's not premium, however from afar it looks nice.

You had me at 8 years. I bought a gaming chair last year. Kinda regret it because I sweat a lot even when AC is turned on. Plus, I like ergo chairs as that is what we have at office at work (herman miller). I think you should buy a hydraulic powered adjustable table. Your problems with the arm rests does not lie on the chair itself but due to your table being unadjustable.
True, I could get a new table but that's added cost I don't want to get into. The fact that this chair has more height than that of the Herman Miller Aeron gives it a little bit more room for those of us who use old family tables or tables which are technically not work desks. I had a less professional set up a year ago

This was an extremely good video :) another thing if you are extremely worried about your ergonomics, try to get a keyboard that is split in half and you can tuck each one towards you so your wrists don’t have to tuck in and twist to type, if you are typing for hours a day just something like this will help you a lot :)

I have an office chair that was bought from a warehouse store in Paco, Manila more than 3 years ago that looks like your mesh chair minus the adjustable arm and head support. I am a bit on the heavy side so I don't think I have ever attempted to lean back like what you were doing here (because I fear for my safety lol) no matter how much I really wanted to do some reclining action while resting. I was seriously tempted to buy a gaming chair recently because of how cool they look and how they seem to be so functional and "ergonomic" but because of this video, I now think they are overrated and will just find an actual ergonomic mesh chair similar to yours. I have the newer version of the chair with the modified arm rest. I've had it for more than 2 years now, issues that I've had so far is the gas lift which I was able to request for a new one free of charge and the arm rest which is now crumbly and really need a replacement. Problem is they don't have a replacement part for the arm rest anymore :(
Yikes! I wonder why they changed the arm rest. The mesh was already perfect. Sorry to hear about your woes :( but thanks for sharing on the channel your experience with the new version!
What was your problem with the gas lift?
That's one of my worries with chairs. Gas lifts tend to lose strength over time. My current chair (which to be fair is priced at 2k) already doesn't support me as well as it did when i bought it-it lowers down simply by sitting on it. It's been only a few months.
Also, how were you able to get it replaced free of charge? Warranty?
@@laboratory009123 It just didn't work haha. It didn't lift anymore when pressed and it stayed on the lowest height/settings. I just sent an e-mail with attached product details to their CSR. It took a while but I did not pay anything, even shipping. :)

Make sure to look at reviews, I saw one person who was around 6'1 and they said this chair isn't comfortable. If it's not built for larger people that's definitely something to consider this is why HM has multiple sizes for the Aeron.

This is a good find. Almost every recommendation I see is like Sihoo this and Sihoo that.
I'm actually using a who-knows-how-old hand me down ergo chair and I agree that it's very sturdy.
But I need a newer adjustable chair, and this one is out of stock. Probably cause of this video, lol.
I never even thought to think how lucky I was with this random chair I also got well before I cared about chairs to begin with. So, you and I are on the same level! I am however also reviewing the Sihho chair right now. Sihoo has more of a brand name now that people feel reassured of. Not that I have heard anything about this brand until this year. :P

Well, it's similar to the extent that it is a mesh chair, has a small cult following with respect to comfort and build however I haven't tried it out myself. I placed it as a good touchstone where you can begin your search.
