I sprayed this on a tester recently and the test strip ended up staying in a cupholder in my car. The next morning when I got in my car, all I could think was there was a sexy confident man in my car. Lol It's really nice.

This is a masterpiece flanker. I literally put three sprays on my polo and wore it the whole day and left it on a chair. After three days, it was still smelling amazing…my goodness this has longevity and projection.
Bought the Sauvage elixir 100ml two weeks ago and performance is really not what it used to be when it was released. It is less potent and sweet. It lacks the smokiness of the initial batches. Regret buying it. How is the performance? Does it need macerating? Thank you.

Most of my fragrances last 12 hours on my skin, Invictus Elixir lasts 16-18 hours on my skin, wore it last night and i was still projecting it after 10.5 hours. One million Elixir lasts 20 - 22 hours on my skin JPG leMale edt lasts 11 - 13 hours on my skin. Prada Luna Rossa Sport day and a half Prada Luna Rossa Ocean LeParfum 16 - 18 hours on my skin… i mean i can keep going.

I scored a free sample and it reminded me of Blue De Channel Parfum with Dylan Blue mixed with an old school spicy vibe. Lasted over 24 hours on my skin (then I had to shower) I liked it, mum didn't.
I like Elixir but Drakkar Noir still seems preferable; Elixir's dirty opening isn't enjoyable but the dry down is worth the pain. Clones of Drakkar Noir such as Classic Match and Lomani seem to be better buys than the lovable expensive trainwreck that is Dior Sauvage Elixir. Will test again.
I would imagine the wear time would even be longer on a very well moisturized skin. I am definitely drawn to a more masculine scent too! 🙏🏻 I am very happy with your comprehensive review!
Just picked up a bottle for $150 AUD normally retails for $205-$220 AUD, so blind purchase and Wow i.love Sauvage not a fan of the edt it was like lolly water but have the edp which is perfect for me, this Elixir is 3 sprays max and the way the notes come in and out is brilliant, if you are a Sauvage fan you can pick up a little of the original DNA but other than that totally different fragrance. I.love it ive only had it in for 3 hours and i can still smell it projecting in the air but I dont buy for commitments i buy for my own self cate and what i like, im not a nishe fan not because of the price but im just not into them, all mine are designer but i go quality over quantity I have about 50 bottles, but Sauvage edp now this ine are my favourite, Ive already worked out you can wear this dressed up or casual. So its a 10 out of 10 for me, yes I got a good bargain but will be using this sparingly as I have nearly 500ml of Edp to spray, but i also like my Farenheit there is nothing on the market like it. But they need to make this in a 100ml bottle and maybe for say $250 AUD. but a good buy for me.

Well my opinion has changed over the last month. This has been my number one complimented fragrance since bleu de Chanel parfum. I was the 1st one to get on the horn and tell you that this smell exactly like Drakkar noir, and it does but then quickly fades into man Musk! Haha

I was able to purchase Elixir from Macy's a week ago at first it was very different because I was so used to EDT, it lasts very long i did a spray on my hand 10mins before I sprayed the EDT on opposite hand & it handsdown out preformed the EDT in my opinion. Great Buy if you can get pass the price also if patient Macy's had a coupon code for 20% off with a bunch of free gifts.
To my nose, I get a lot of similarities to Oud for Greatness, especially in the dry down. Like 80% overlap. Did a blind test, a spray of OFG on one arm and Elixir on the other. My sisters and friends couldn’t tell the difference. They thought it was the same fragrance.
Steven Awesome review I just received my bottle from Dior yesterday. Very mature and pleasant. I wore it right away. Longevity was 8hr tops Lavender was perfect in this. Definitely enjoyed this..

Dior is my all time favourite. I can't say much positive about Sauvage, but Elixir is everything that Sauvage should have been. this is what Sauvage should have been from the start. ...watch it get discontinued. or for sure reformulated. 😑 so since Ive got a 20% off I'm thinking I might get a few bottles. finally I can add a Sauvage to my collection now.

Totally. Same here, but since it was in the bottom shelf, the bottle didn't suffer any damage. I put an elastic band around the box so it doesn't happen again!
I happened to be with my mom when I was at Macy's and she straight up said she smelled Pine. I got several samples from sales rep and rep told me they were told that originally this was meant to layered with Sauvage edt. Not sure if that is true or not. I'm not getting pine but I've now had three people say to me they smelled pine. Pine with spice etc. Lasts forever and smells pleasant but seems expensive for designer to me
I’ve got EDT for daily office wear and exiler for special occasions. Both that have loveable sauvage ‘unbeatable’ DNA but both very different. Wouldn’t wear exiler daily as it’s sweeter and stronger. It’s more formal. For good measure, I use YSL y for casual everyday but Dior sauvage for formal every day (work)
Love this! Its beast mode with 12+ hours longevity. I personally like this one better than the original bc of the sweetness added. Too bad it comes in only 2oz size
A two ounce bottle literally is the perfect size for Sauvage Elixir. Because of how strong it is, a two ounce bottle should last a very long time since doing more than one spray per wearing is unnecessary with this fragrance.

Picked this up the day of release alongside Phantom and Luna Rossa Ocean. Here's my 🔥 take on the 3. Elixir: beautiful scent, winter only scent. Performance is amazing. Easily bested Tom Ford Noir Extreme. I still prefer Savauge Parfum. Phantom: first spray has a spicey citrus kick that is overwhelming for my taste. Keep in mind I absolutely love and favor sweet scents. The dry down is amazing. Performance is also pretty good. Luna Rossa Ocean: absolutely stunning. If you like Luna Rossa you'll absolutely love Ocean. If the color Blue had a scent, Rossa Ocean would be the scent. Performance is HORRIBLE. I give scent 10/10 with a Performance of 3/10. That being said. Ocean is my absolute favorite. Performance needs a major boost. If it came down to picking the best out of the 3 I picked up that day, Ocean absolutely wins IMO. Performance is horrible but I don't regret buying it one single bit!

Lookin' good Steven. Elixir smells good, powerful, long-lasting, it can become cloying over 2-sprays. The current price is a deterrent, however.
I own this scent, couldn't not have it in my collection. Definitely not one I could stand wearing all the time, but I respect the quality and potency
i own the parfume and elixir the elixir is amazing i use the parfume and top it up with a couple of sprays of elixir i feel it compliments it good.

Picked this up the day of release alongside Phantom and Luna Rossa Ocean. Here's my 🔥 take on the 3.
Elixir: beautiful scent, winter only scent. Performance is amazing. Easily bested Tom Ford Noir Extreme. I still prefer Savauge Parfum.
Phantom: first spray has a spicey citrus kick that is overwhelming for my taste. Keep in mind I absolutely love and favor sweet scents. The dry down is amazing. Performance is also pretty good.
Luna Rossa Ocean: absolutely stunning. If you like Luna Rossa you'll absolutely love Ocean. If the color Blue had a scent, Rossa Ocean would be the scent. Performance is HORRIBLE. I give scent 10/10 with a Performance of 3/10.
That being said. Ocean is my absolute favorite. Performance needs a major boost. If it came down to picking the best out of the 3 I picked up that day, Ocean absolutely wins IMO. Performance is horrible but I don't regret buying it one single bit!
