sauvage parfum is the perfect going out next to a fire and just chilling enjoying a drink kinda scent its sillage and projection in the heat is insane and very attractive almost a spiritual experience
Elixer aside which is in it's own category, EDP is easily the best one to me. EDT has this overpowering peppery and metallic scent that gives me headaches and Parfum smells amazing with the added incense but it has absolutely horrible projection, silage and longevity which is pretty ironic for a "Parfum". EDP is much smoother as they toned down the pepper and added a nice sweet smelling vanilla base to it, has great projection, longevity and is just so versatile.

I own all the Sauvages (except for the body spray). The positive feedback is unreal. My favorites are the EDP and the Elixer. I stopped using it because it became too common. When the Elixer was introduced this year, it refreshed my love for the line.
Hopefully with new releases, Sauvage will become what it is one of the best mens versatile fragrances created. ELIXIR is just from another planet. But for me its the edp. Smooth, night or day winter, summer whenever, in Aust fragrance for men isnt that big so people really still respond to Sauvage. But at the moment im really into the Givenchy Gentleman line especially the Boise and the Reserve Prive, i love how they do the Iris note.
Elixir is my personal favourite. Complex, sweet & spicy, more mature, unique & sexy. The perfect combination. I always wear it when I want to feel confident & stand out. Great review guys
Same I also use EDP. It's not overbearing and still has appeal. Maybe the Parfum and Elixir had better dry downs, but from trying them all at the store I also ended up with EDP and am satisfied 💯😊

Sauvage edt is the only one i still use , after all this years and bought it since it came out.. As a man i dont want to smell as a flower , leather , or some kind of tea ..at my skin the edt smells like a expensive shaving foam somehow 🎉 Just a clean scent , really like it
EDP is my favourite. Stays true to the sauvage DNA but tidied up around the edges. Parfum is nice but a little to dark, loses a lot of what makes sauvage great. It’s also very soft, doesn’t project much. Elixir is it’s own beast entirely.

EDT = starter and entry into the Dior Sauvage series, doesn't last as long but smells good (base) EDP = noticeably better than EDT in terms of presence and durability (better) P = similar to EDP but will last longer, however, it has a less sweet note than EDP (good) Elixir = completely different from the series. It is the eldest, most mature and professional brother of the three (mafia boss).

Ive got 2 x 200ml bottles of edp, and Elixir, edp is probably the best as its between the edt and Parfum , Elixir is totally different its, its own beast and Sauvage haters like the Elixir, but it is ine of the greatest fragrances made in history, I got the 200ml edps because I know that they always reformulate but i hope they don't touch it ever, but Elixir is my special occasion fragrance you get thst old school with the modern twist. Im really excited to see what Dior does next, plus Bleu De Chanel Edp is a great scent so waiting to see what they do do they bring out Bleu De Chanel Elixir, One Million have done an Elixir and its a crash and burn. There is only one Elixir and that is Sauvage.
I was one of the original Eau de Sauvage and Sauvage extreme users from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. so back then i was one of the few who used it. Even though it evolved into just Sauvage which still keeps some of the original 80s DNA, it is a bit different but i still love it. I don't wear it so much because too many people wear it now. Still much respect, and still love them all.
The problem with the Parfum is that it's weaker projection and doesn't last as long as the others. Like I said for me it's the EDP and Elixir. If you could only buy one get the EDP. It's the perfect mix. I like how the vanilla is used in it.

Performance wise I would say the original and Elixir are the 2 most impressive ones in the collection. It's one of the reasons why it's so common to pick up the scent of Sauvage if someone has it on him. It all comes down to how a fragrance is used, but Elixir has more power to it and a different kind of "heavier" scent so in that sense it to some people is better suited for the colder days of the year. I enjoy using it more on fall, winter and spring but I also enjoy it on summer nights when it's a bit cooler. That thing (with just a few sprays in the heat) spreads in a beautiful way on those summer nights.
EDT is definitely my favorite best performance super sexy. Elixir is right behind but I’ll take EDT all day. I haven’t refilled EDP or Parfum just because it cost more doesn’t make it better.

I love all 3 sauvages even tho the edt and edp are almost identical but I do not like elixir. I'm waiting for chanels new fragrances now and will it be called elixir too because I know 1 millions next fragrances is 1 million elixir.

Elixir is from another world entirely. A beast of a fragrance. As for the rest of them , edp is easily the best. Tones down the sharp scratchy , headache inducing opening of edt. Smells heavenly in the drydown.
I have sample of EDP and at first i thought it smells like Luna Rossa Carbon. I started to test it more and found out EDP is not exacly like Luna Rossa Carbon and there is more differences between them both and ended up liking EDP more than Luna Rossa Carbon. Sold Carbon and need to get EDP. Parfum is also good. Elixir is a masterpiece and i need to get backup bootle so im set for 15+ years with Elixir because its potent
my sister told me she didn't like the smell and she wouldn't get her boyfriend the Dior Sauvage elixir, but I like the smell quite a lot I guess everyone has a smell they like then lol.
I bought the EDT but can’t stand it. Smells synthetic and obnoxious to me. But, the Elixir is complex and deep with nostalgia. Spruce , spice, citrus, licorice. Christmas in the 1980s… possibly my new signature! You must have facial hair to own this scent.
Okay for me EDP price wise and its also the orginal and great. Elixir is amazing but if you have the money get it otherwise its way too much for the casual person. EDP and Parfum i just tried those both recently and i couldn't tell the difference or i just didnt wait long enough. But theyre both from what i remember sweet, now for price wise i guess edp would be better but i think i prefer the parfum smell wise, out of those 2. But i feel its all based on what personal opinions and cost affectiveness
@@fernandomarquez8890 Sauvage is just louder and a little rougher around the edges. If that fits your personality, go for it. Personally, I prefer the smoothness of Carbon made possible from the lavender, which is not in Sauvage.

Sauvage edp is a little smoother than Sauvage edt, but also just a tad sweeter because of some type of orange (if I remember correctly). Compared to Carbon, it’s not entirely redundant, but more like “cousins”. Sauvage edt & Carbon like siblings…own one and you’re “in the family”. Sauvage edp & Carbon…eh, ok you guys definitely “related” but that’s about it. Edp not as soapy smelling as Carbon. 😆 Sorry man, tryna be helpful here.
Hi! 😊 I don't think it's terrible, but Dior Sauvage Parfum definitely has a more intimate scent cloud compared to the EDT, EDP and Elixir. People do need to be closer to be able to pick up on it. It's nowhere near as strong as elixir and it's definitely not as strong as the edt/edp.
To be completely honest I own the EDP and it smells like cheap Irish spring soap very linear in guess you’ve never smelled Irish spring soap I’ll stick with more complex better fragrances not cheap grocery store soap 😆

I just got a 200ml of the EDP a few days ago. 😂😂 1 did buy the Asad a few months ago ago and I think it’s a great buy - especially for where I live etc Too hot to wear the Elixer in many cases and I knew I wouldn't get many opportunities to wear it also... so I just wanted something cheap to give it a go. 👍 It' definitely worth the price for sure.

Parfum lasts 8-10 hours. You just go nose blind because there is no way that Parfum lacks in longevity.

Now we're going to need to see a redo of this with the new alcohol free Eau Forte.
The Eau De Parfum is the best, then the EDT, then the Elixir, and last is the Parfum. The EDP is a modern masterpiece in perfumery.
If only considering unique and elegance then yes, put in aspects after longtivty ,price and functionality ,EDP is hard to beat...

I love all 3 sauvages even tho the edt and edp are almost identical but I do not like elixir. I'm waiting for chanels new fragrances now and will it be called elixir too because I know 1 millions next fragrances is 1 million elixir.
😂 Yup.. We might just see a lot of elixirs coming out now. Would be fun to just see you being right on that one 😉 And yes, the EDT and Edp are pretty similar.. Feels like they made the Edp a bit smoother, and then took it further in that direction with the Parfum.. Until they did a complete blend of all + added things for the Elixir. 😊

Elixir is from another world entirely. A beast of a fragrance. As for the rest of them , edp is easily the best. Tones down the sharp scratchy , headache inducing opening of edt. Smells heavenly in the drydown.

I have sample of EDP and at first i thought it smells like Luna Rossa Carbon. I started to test it more and found out EDP is not exacly like Luna Rossa Carbon and there is more differences between them both and ended up liking EDP more than Luna Rossa Carbon. Sold Carbon and need to get EDP. Parfum is also good. Elixir is a masterpiece and i need to get backup bootle so im set for 15+ years with Elixir because its potent

I bought the EDT but can’t stand it. Smells synthetic and obnoxious to me. But, the Elixir is complex and deep with nostalgia. Spruce , spice, citrus, licorice. Christmas in the 1980s… possibly my new signature! You must have facial hair to own this scent.
Okay for me EDP price wise and its also the orginal and great. Elixir is amazing but if you have the money get it otherwise its way too much for the casual person. EDP and Parfum i just tried those both recently and i couldn't tell the difference or i just didnt wait long enough. But theyre both from what i remember sweet, now for price wise i guess edp would be better but i think i prefer the parfum smell wise, out of those 2. But i feel its all based on what personal opinions and cost affectiveness

@@fernandomarquez8890 Sauvage is just louder and a little rougher around the edges. If that fits your personality, go for it. Personally, I prefer the smoothness of Carbon made possible from the lavender, which is not in Sauvage.

Sauvage edp is a little smoother than Sauvage edt, but also just a tad sweeter because of some type of orange (if I remember correctly). Compared to Carbon, it’s not entirely redundant, but more like “cousins”. Sauvage edt & Carbon like siblings…own one and you’re “in the family”. Sauvage edp & Carbon…eh, ok you guys definitely “related” but that’s about it. Edp not as soapy smelling as Carbon. 😆 Sorry man, tryna be helpful here.

I don't think it's terrible, but Dior Sauvage Parfum definitely has a more intimate scent cloud compared to the EDT, EDP and Elixir. People do need to be closer to be able to pick up on it.
It's nowhere near as strong as elixir and it's definitely not as strong as the edt/edp.
Parfum is richer smelling than edt and edp. Elixir just smells like its a total different scent to me.
The original is the best ever for me ❤

To be completely honest I own the EDP and it smells like cheap Irish spring soap very linear in guess you’ve never smelled Irish spring soap I’ll stick with more complex better fragrances not cheap grocery store soap 😆

Too hot to wear the Elixer in many cases and I knew I wouldn't get many opportunities to wear it also... so I just wanted something cheap to give it a go. 👍

I’ve reached for the Asad to wear to work but I just can’t do it.
The EDT is too juvenile for me at 50+ and too loud / harsh.
I like a EDP a lot.
I’ve not smelled it on other ppl as all the haters like to make out
