Tested elixir yesterday in a shop at around 2pm, it’s now 30 hours later and I can still smell a pretty strong trace of it on my arm. The longevity is real.
Yes, had a little test sample and just sprayed one spray on my neck, and I have to say it was really incredible! My whole bed and all my clothes from that day smelled several days afterwards. So it really projected onto all surfaces and the whole Noon that day I wore it, I was dizzy because of the strength. Really insane.
Totally agree with the classification! I've tried them all but I ended up buying a 200ml bottle of EDP. Elixir got in the 2nd place but it was lacking the freshness of the EDP. Living in a warm country like Greece freshness comes handy. The best use for the EDP is summer evenings and nights. Great video, Ashton!
That’s great that you like it. Supporting Dior is great. I still think it takes a back seat to every other Sauvage though. I only have Parfum for the sake of collecting the line up 🤷♂️
I highly prefer the smell of the Parfum but it does not project for me. It does however stay on the skin and clothing for much longer than almost anything in my collection. And I only have a travel size
Sauvage elixir smells the best to me and it’s beast longevity. But I have gotten the most compliments from any frag I my collection from sauvage edp. Around 70 frags.
I got all 5 and been wearing them for quite sometime now. Except for the elixir which I just got yesterday. Where do you guys walk and get compliments on the perfume you wear 😭😂. People where I live doesn’t know how to do that😂
Elixir is #1 for me by far. I got a free .3 oz of EDP with my purchase of Elixir from Macy's and I like it a lot more than the EDT, but there's no way it surpasses Elixir for me. Maybe it's the time of year because it is fall/winter at the moment, but I absolutely love Elixir and it's the first fragrance that I want to get a second bottle of before the first even runs out.
I just got mine a couple of days ago I really love the smell. When I first smelled it it came of as a sweet salty caramel scent which smelled a little warm 10/10
@@Joseph-el2cr for me it smelled like a very dark spice and licorice bomb in the opening and then that soothing lavender comes in in the mid base. The later stages I smell the sauvage DNA slightly. It's not a sweet fragrance to my nose at all.
@@KIRA-h1w no the parfum & the elixir are for more mature individuals. The edp is still close enough to the edt that has a youthful edge but mature will also appreciate it because of the darkness & added touch of sweetness.
As a 24 year old guy I think the EDP is the best it smells really similar to the Edt but more smoother higher quality and that hint of sweetness makes it smell even better
@@JoeT-re5ro I've tested all of them out I couldn't test out the Edt version on the same day but the EDP seems to last longer than the parfum I do like the parfum I like that it has a little more sweetness than balance things out more it just more expensive and not as long lasting it smells similar to the EDP version anyway
Got the edt first and loved it. Got the elixir last week and wow. Living in cold weather it's awesome. But now on my way to California for a few weeks and left the Sauvage at home and brought the Cedrat Boise with me for the SB party. Elixir is my favorite Sauvage
Sauvage in general is a lady killer to the fullest, mass pleasing to the fullest and I love it to the fullest. The EDP and EDT have gotten me insane amounts of compliments since back in the days of me not even wearing cologne regularly. The only Sauvage that isn’t so appealing is the Parfum. But the Elixir sheeeeeessshhh it is unbelievable I absolutely love it and it lasts forever. No literally.
I gave up. I bought Elixir yesterday. It's amazing. Not something I would wear everyday, but it's a whole new level. And I did not really like any Sauvage before. Never considered buying it.
I feel like the whole line is great but it’s all redundant. I feel like no one person should own more than 3 (unless they are a collector). I’d say either VCS, EDP and elixir or EDT, Parfum and elixir.

the VCS gets annoying and is very boyish. parfum i found to be the best price for a very mature scent and you’ll find it the most heavily discounted compared, plus women go the craziest with it
I never really liked the Sauvage DNA, was always more of a BDChanel dude. However, BDC EDP doesn't work on my skin, the incense note is too pungent for me- and so is the EDT- so I switched to Gentle Fluidity Silver (love it). However, after trying the Sauvage Elixir- man this fragrance is a masterpiece. This is the best Sauvage flanker Demarchy retired with. Definitely a keeper and the best in the line. Elixir > Parfum > EDP > EDT > SPRAY. I guess I'm just a sucker for the sweet scents.
I get that it's a bit TOO common these days, but it is a bit annoying when people in the community describe the EDT like it's AXE body spray. You simply can't deny that this DNA is a timeless masterpiece at this point..
Completley agree edp is the best smelling of the bunch. You are probably the only reviewer who agrees on that. Also they should have put Cool Spray in the typical Sauvage bottle and named it Sauvage Sport. Guarantee it would be insanely more popular. Plus the performance is even better for a lot of guys than the EDT even is.
Everyone has different personalities, some want to stand out, others are more laid back. I went with the Parfum in the end. It’s perfect when the seasons transition from winter to spring and summer to fall. I only owned Polo Red 8 years ago, now I’m 30 and wanted something more sophisticated.

Very cool spray in the heat and Parfum in the cold. Don’t need anything else 💯 very cool spray is so underrated. Idk maybe people are turned off because they think it’s a cheap body spray. But it’s pretty much the edt but without that harsh metallic smell.
I stick to 6 fragrances that I rotate, aqua , Jean Paul, dolce, Y, but my respects to EDP I have gotten many many compliments with EDP to the point that I wear it on a daily basis !!!
I live in a country with almost all year summer (31-34 degree celcius) and I use Sauvage EDP. Going to get Elixir especially to support Johnny Depp 🤭 and yes the price is TGDH 😂
It's nice to see a video where Dior Savauge isn't being hated on. The stuff smells great, people enjoy it, and it lasts better than most other fragrances I've come across. I currently only have the EDT, and love it. Well I do have a little mini bottle of the EDP that they gave me when I picked up the EDT from Dillard's. I hate dabbers so I've really only smelt that from the cap.
I bought the EDP for a wedding and I can't get over how great it smells. 1 spray for me is the perfect amount to get through the day. I might consider the EDT version at some point, but my nose prefers the EDP with the vanilla.
This is exactly how I would rank them. EDP and Elixir are the best 2. If you could only buy 1 get the EDP because it's more versatile than Elixir. But Elixir is amazing. It's darker and more mature.
I agree with this list. I tried the de parfum and the parfum. Parfum started off better smelling but 7 hours in You can barely smell Dior parfum, but de parfum still smells great and lasts longer than parfum. I recommend getting de parfum because in my opinion the flavor is balanced
parfum by far is the best i sprayed it on one morning then the next day i took a shower and used body wash and i still smelled the dior from yesterday. Amazing performance
Suavage Elixir is the best for me by far. I like the Suavage line ok but find them a bit harsh and don't love any of them, but Elixir was an instant love for me. Might be my current favorite designer fragrance. I feel like Dior finally captured the intrigue, sexiness, and depth that the Suavage ads always try to portray. Whereas the earlier releases are very much young college guy/mall kind of scents. Elixir is much more palatable and mature for me. Also my fiance loves the EDT but actually prefers Elixir, so that's awesome too.
I've owned the EDT, EDP and Elixir and can say hand on heart that the EDT gets the most compliments from women. I've had a woman in the street stop me and tell me I smelled great, plus two teen girls while working in a house asked their mum to ask what I was wearing.
Just bought Dior EDP last night (late to the party) so this video is excellent timing.. As far as the EDP attracting to mostly middle aged to older guys, I don't know about that but im a man in my 20s and think the EDP smells more put together then the EDT as I have tried the EDT as a sample. Elixir for me but it is a special occasion wear. It's strictly for the colder months and when I'm dressed up to impress. It's not a casual wear at all.
I've had a few girls, that are strangers, tell me I smell amazing when I was wearing Sauvage EDT, but personally I don't really like it. I prefer Maison Margiela Jazz Club or Amouge Jubilation Man XXV, but I've never got a single compliment with either one of them. Such is life. I still wear what I like.
The very cool spray isn't in my collection but I was told it's the same as the edt. I got EDP, Elixir, Parfum, and Edt in that order. I love Elixir but the EDP is a monster. Best smell. Most attention.
I'm planning on blind-buying Dior Sauvage Very Cool Spray. I don't love Dior Sauvage that much... I like it but I'm not in love with it 🤣 That's why I decided to get the freshest version of it and honestly I'm really excited about that kind of bottle and sprayer. Can't wait to try it out!

Watched this video and tried the elixir and the edp in store. Loved the elixir way more so I bought it. EDT or elixir would probably be my number one and two.
I was never a sauvage fan but man... elixir caught me offguard. I love it. I love it so much, that asad is no substitute for me. Also i dont like it in wintertime. I like it in spring
Dior Sauvage is like Drake. You want to hate it so bad cause everybody knows it, but then you listen/smell it and you realize you have no choice but to join the bandwagon
From all the research I've been doing this is one of those fragrances that people in general seem to be in love with the EDT. For whatever reason, the EDT seems to get the most love out of all of them. If I ever decide to buy one I think I'll go with the EDT
EDT is best in my opinion all others are too strong and give me a headache. Although I do love elixir as well but too strong still but very nice scent.😊
The EDT And EDP Are The Most Versatile, I Also Wear The Club De Nuit Urban Man Elixir That Starts Of Like A Metallic Version Of EDP And Settled Down To The Sauvage Elixir.

EDT EDP is where its at their my go to daily all year round in the office. Ex is now back in stock so I just purchased it while watching this video. Some might not like the EX when you open it for the first time, but, I can assure you it will grow on you to make you like it!!!
The Very Cool Spray as a fragrance is underrated for summer in my opinion but if we look at Jeremy’s test what was it? Like you get about a quarter or even less of actual juice/sprays on average when compared to the EDT 🤷♂️ but I own both because my daughter loves them. When I wear the EDT I never get a compliment (I don’t get beast mode from it) but whenever I wear the Cool Spray during summer I almost always get a compliment 🤷♂️🤷♂️
Wish elixir was in a larger size!!!! (With better price) I do see see the drakkar comparison!!! But it’s still an awesome new scent , will be best selling this year for sure.
I bought Sauvage Eau de Parfum online based on your video. Turned out I really hate this fragrance. Despite that, I want to give you credits for all your videos and hard work you're putting in to TH-cam!
I think best is to get EdT for summer and elixir for winter. Instead of the EdP you might just go for BDC EdP, it does the same but better. Agree on the parfum, too bad that the pefromance is abysmal, since the smell itself is quite nice.
Sauvage is amazing, I would say it's my second favorite compared to my all time #1, Armani Mania. I'm sad I ran out of Mania, but really REALLY like Sauvage.
I got the Elixir today, and the girl at the mall gave me a 15% discount, so I got it just under 132 USD and it's my absolute favorite from all the other savauges.

Elixir is like the old spice that never leaves. One spray I’m stuck smelling like I bathed in cologne for the rest of the day. I feel like an old man wearing it. Terre de hermes is hands down the best smelling non intrusive cologne I’ve used.
I haven't tried Elixir and the Parfums. Version of this fragrance (cool spray as well for that matter), however I like the EDP more than the EDT. I want to sample the Parfums but the Elixir sure looks like a blind buy.
Elixir is the winner for a more seasoned nose. Maybe a niche head if you know what I mean? After sampling Elixir, I sold my pretty full bottle of the EDT to help the sting of the Elixir price tag. I'm happy with that decision 😁

Having had a bottle of edt since 2016 (used everyday and only needed a few sprays / 200ml bottle) that got stolen, replaced with a edp, don’t see too much difference between them. Bought the clone of db cosmetics to spray as much as I want or mix it and such. Don’t care if it’s overdone, it’s my favourite I’ve had. The second pick is the paco xs pure night since it’s cheaper, performs as well.
Not really, high school girls don't want to smell Creed Bois du Portugal on a high school aged boy, and a grown woman isn't taking a 40 year old man serious wearing Versace Eros everyday lol

So I let him an he told me he got a bunch of compliments from students and teachers. I also went to a high school game with him an a bunch of high school girls came up to both of us an told us we smell amazing. This one girl couldn’t leave my friends side for a second. Fragrances really shouldn’t have age labels. I wear fragrances that are meant to be for older men all the time an I haven’t gotten any negative feed back. Spice bomb extreme had girls attached to me like magnets in fall/winter when I was in high school.

Imo edt is more likely for young people while edp is more for matured and older people

I prefer the Parfum. The EDP and EDT are OK, and as for Elixir, it’s way too sweet; and I mean sweet.

Can agree the Parfum is a clean smell a lil too powdery to my liking but it’s an amazing bed time cologne and a great layer cologne

I feel like Dior finally captured the intrigue, sexiness, and depth that the Suavage ads always try to portray. Whereas the earlier releases are very much young college guy/mall kind of scents. Elixir is much more palatable and mature for me.
Also my fiance loves the EDT but actually prefers Elixir, so that's awesome too.

I've owned the EDT, EDP and Elixir and can say hand on heart that the EDT gets the most compliments from women.
I've had a woman in the street stop me and tell me I smelled great, plus two teen girls while working in a house asked their mum to ask what I was wearing.
To me EDP & elixir is so nice, but you know what to do when a new Sauvage comes out get a back up bottle they love to reformulate
i agree the EDP is the best safe all around version of the Sauvage line. strong but not too strong and smells great for all day to evening use.
Just bought Dior EDP last night (late to the party) so this video is excellent timing.. As far as the EDP attracting to mostly middle aged to older guys, I don't know about that but im a man in my 20s and think the EDP smells more put together then the EDT as I have tried the EDT as a sample. Elixir for me but it is a special occasion wear. It's strictly for the colder months and when I'm dressed up to impress. It's not a casual wear at all.
I've had a few girls, that are strangers, tell me I smell amazing when I was wearing Sauvage EDT, but personally I don't really like it.
I prefer Maison Margiela Jazz Club or Amouge Jubilation Man XXV, but I've never got a single compliment with either one of them.
Such is life. I still wear what I like.
The very cool spray isn't in my collection but I was told it's the same as the edt. I got EDP, Elixir, Parfum, and Edt in that order. I love Elixir but the EDP is a monster. Best smell. Most attention.
It has a lot of Grapefruit which EDT is lacking. Also I think it performs better believe it or not .
I'm planning on blind-buying Dior Sauvage Very Cool Spray. I don't love Dior Sauvage that much... I like it but I'm not in love with it 🤣
That's why I decided to get the freshest version of it and honestly I'm really excited about that kind of bottle and sprayer. Can't wait to try it out!

I've worn Edp for a while now and I get a lot of compliments from it and it really does last a long time

EDT and then Elixir for me.
I am not a huge Sauvage fan, but Elixir is awesome! It’s strong so you only need 2-3 sprays and you are covered for a while.

Armani would most certainly have ADG Profumo as number one. That is the masterpiece of the house.

Watched this video and tried the elixir and the edp in store. Loved the elixir way more so I bought it. EDT or elixir would probably be my number one and two.

Dior Sauvage is like Drake. You want to hate it so bad cause everybody knows it, but then you listen/smell it and you realize you have no choice but to join the bandwagon
From all the research I've been doing this is one of those fragrances that people in general seem to be in love with the EDT. For whatever reason, the EDT seems to get the most love out of all of them. If I ever decide to buy one I think I'll go with the EDT

EDT EDP is where its at their my go to daily all year round in the office.
Ex is now back in stock so I just purchased it while watching this video. Some might not like the EX when you open it for the first time, but, I can assure you it will grow on you to make you like it!!!
Hands down winner is elixir. Undoubtedly one of the best and my 2nd favorite after blu de Chanel perfum.

The Very Cool Spray as a fragrance is underrated for summer in my opinion but if we look at Jeremy’s test what was it? Like you get about a quarter or even less of actual juice/sprays on average when compared to the EDT 🤷♂️ but I own both because my daughter loves them. When I wear the EDT I never get a compliment (I don’t get beast mode from it) but whenever I wear the Cool Spray during summer I almost always get a compliment 🤷♂️🤷♂️
Sauvage VCS is my favorite, it's my go-to summer frag. I don't wear EDP and EDT any longer.

EDT smells amazing to me but I didnt like EDP or anything past that
I think best is to get EdT for summer and elixir for winter. Instead of the EdP you might just go for BDC EdP, it does the same but better. Agree on the parfum, too bad that the pefromance is abysmal, since the smell itself is quite nice.
Sauvage is amazing, I would say it's my second favorite compared to my all time #1, Armani Mania. I'm sad I ran out of Mania, but really REALLY like Sauvage.

Elixir is like the old spice that never leaves. One spray I’m stuck smelling like I bathed in cologne for the rest of the day. I feel like an old man wearing it.
Terre de hermes is hands down the best smelling non intrusive cologne I’ve used.

I haven't tried Elixir and the Parfums. Version of this fragrance (cool spray as well for that matter), however I like the EDP more than the EDT. I want to sample the Parfums but the Elixir sure looks like a blind buy.
Elixir is the winner for a more seasoned nose. Maybe a niche head if you know what I mean? After sampling Elixir, I sold my pretty full bottle of the EDT to help the sting of the Elixir price tag. I'm happy with that decision 😁

Having had a bottle of edt since 2016 (used everyday and only needed a few sprays / 200ml bottle) that got stolen, replaced with a edp, don’t see too much difference between them. Bought the clone of db cosmetics to spray as much as I want or mix it and such. Don’t care if it’s overdone, it’s my favourite I’ve had.
The second pick is the paco xs pure night since it’s cheaper, performs as well.

So I let him an he told me he got a bunch of compliments from students and teachers. I also went to a high school game with him an a bunch of high school girls came up to both of us an told us we smell amazing. This one girl couldn’t leave my friends side for a second. Fragrances really shouldn’t have age labels. I wear fragrances that are meant to be for older men all the time an I haven’t gotten any negative feed back. Spice bomb extreme had girls attached to me like magnets in fall/winter when I was in high school.
