NIce one Tony! it definitely makes me want to go out and bash a bit! maybe I'll bring out the monsters for the race we are going to this weekend? Stay gold pony boy!
I just dusted my Lasernut off last night to drive it down the road where they are doing home construction. It's such a beast and drives through almost everything. Gets pretty hot running the 4s so I'm worried about longevity but I'm really enjoying driving it again.
Great job. The Lasernut just looks so cool as it comes towards you with it's awesome lights and front suspension action. I one a few months ago and liked it so much I bought a backup. I'm keeping them stock for the most part. Everyone gripes about the diffs but so far mine have been holding up. "Stock" diffs and CVD's are quite reasonable.
Great relaxing shredding session as I would say! Looked great! Think I'm gonna go shred some grass today myself! That was an awesome video Tony! Keep up the great work brother! 👍👍🤟🤟👽🛸😎
Your original video helped sell me on my Lasernut! Since I do alot of crawling I use this mostly on the trail but have bashing it and "racing it" at a local Bseball course. I put Vitavon diff cases the axles in it. The one must mod is the rear case. If I were making one mod it would be the case. I have 100's of packs through mine. Way, way over 100. I stopped counting after 100. Easy to do on Spektrum batteries which keep the cycle count. Now the Lasernut has a Reefs servo, Castle esc/motor for low speed control, 500k rear diff fluid to almost lock the rear and the 2.2/3.0 Proline Hyrax G8 tires. With tight rear diff and the loose front diff it can crawl and go fast too. 11 tooth pinion lets me crawl and still go fast on 4S. I just replaced the body with one from ebay. My black one was beat. I put on the white/blue and it looks new. I love the scale looks people out hiking think it's cool too. Thanks for your videos!!! Another favorite is you jumping the Typhon onto your fence!!! I way over shot a jump early on and put a big dent in my garage. Checking out your 24th scale stuff, building an indoor track for winter. Thanks again for the videos!
I'd say the Lasernut and the Tenacity platforms are both relevant, I just wish my hobby shops were better about stocking losi parts. Nearly every shelf is Traxxas, Arrma or ProLine parts exclusively now... Shame about the lasernut being discontinued though. Hoping Losi re-invigorates some of their 5+ year old platforms.
Yes. The latest DX6 Rugged still only holds 20 models. The iXSR looks awesome, but the form factor sucks for me. I prefer the Rugged because I can drive them one handed while walking on the trails. The Dx5 Pro and the new iXSR are great, but have that dropped down wheel that can't be used one-handed. I would totally buy one for race vehicles....which would only need 20 models or less. The radio I use for bashers and crawlers and the larger part of my collection that I want the 100 model memory for...but they limit it to 20. Just seems like an old school upsell technique...but they aren't upselling because the form factor is a deterrent.

Good times. Such a fun looking rig.

Yes spectrum we need the controller, awesome review.
nice run
Definitely 💯🤸♀️♥️
100% you should get the Super laser nut, its a blast! I threw some paddles on it for the Kraton 6s and it ripped in sand.

I have over 80 rigs so far. I agree we need more model memory!! I use Flysky now.
I have 1/6 super laser nut and it also has to be run like a scale basher and it has turned to be really fun buggy !
I haven't seen one in person yet. I look forward to it.

That rides really nice, sure it could use better shocks but looks really stable.
Not sure it needs better shocks....just some tuning of the stock ones would go a long way (and losing the rear wheel)
I am talking about the ixsr
Have you heard about the new radio or no
