Xenil when the sirens go on it is really exiting and also scary. Once on April 9th 2015 I witnessed an ef 4 tornado, it was a big wedge, I will never forget it as long as I live. Look it up
Xenil most don't worry too much. Mostly everyone stands outside until the storms get close then we might go take shelter if it looks bad enough. A tornado warning where I live can mean they spotted one 20-30 miles away and the storm it's in is headed in your general direction. Often this complacency can get people killed though.

Kelley Williamson was his name. Him and Randy were alot of fun to follow along with. It's so sad there was another young man killed as well. May they all rest in peace. ❤️🙏
You know, I live in belgium and I've had a strange fascination with tornadoes since I was 11 (which is kind of sad since we don't have them here) and I've searched the entire internet yet I've never come across an account that amazes me so much with footage like yours, not just your videos of tornadoes but storms and lightning too. You're really my favorite youtuber, keep it up! :D
I love your channel. I've been a storm spotter since 2012, but my story is a little unusual. I became one because I started out astraphobic even though I've studied weather since I was ten (now in my late thirties) Back then the thunderstorms for my location were very mild, hardly any severe warnings to almost every thunderstorm years later becoming severe constantly. So I thought as my original interest turned fear grew to attend a Skywarn certification class so at least despite my growing fear, I could assist in keeping my community safe with reports to the NWS. Fast forward a few years and the tornado warnings started. I was in a couple, one being an waterspout turned EF-0 tornado right outside my mother's home. I worked on my anxiety until one night when I was just getting comfortable with it calming down..but then...I had fallen asleep and all of a sudden I heard something outside, checked my local news app, and saw the radar of this huge TVS knowing it was a waterspout before the weather service even issued a warning. I got my mother up and we sheltered sadly in the bathroom because there's no basement as a result of the water table. What's worse iscthe bathroom has an exterior wall, but we had no choice. The lightning was so frequent and then I heard it pass. It didn't strike us because if it had in the case of the city over, the condo would've been destroyed. It was rated EF-2. So now I'm comfortable with thunder and lightning but tornadoes make me so anxious to a point where I'm embarrassed and yet I still enjoy watching them on videos. I hope my story helps those of you with lilasophobia, I'm slowly working on mine the same way I did my astraphobia, but part of my fear stems from the fact that I have cerebral palsy and I can't drive nor even run in general. I still love meteorology...but it terrifies me when severe warnings happen. Fun Fact: I was born on May 8th so even if I fear tornadoes, they occur frequently in my birthday month. 🌪️

Alright. Much as I wanna watch this right now, I'm gonna save it for when my EFFING INTERNET COMES BACK ON because I wanna see the lightning on the Tv not on my itty bitty phone screen. Thank you Hank. These are incredible.
Hank, man I wanna experience these moments in reality. I'm 30yrs old and have never witnessed a tornado. Couple years back a developing tornado blew over above the house and I stood in the yard as you could hear the roar in the distance as it went over the mountain. Later I had heard that it finally touched down. I lived in Denton Texas for a few years and seen some mean storms. It's south of Jarrell Texas. Or somewhere in that area. Lol. I now live in South East Kentucky and never see such amazing storms. One day I will travel to the plains in the early to mid spring to see mother of nature unleash before my very eyes. I just hope it takes place in an open field where no one is to lose life or property. I appreciate the videos of your awesome work man! Keep it up!
All my life, 53 years of it, I only THOUGHT that I had seen lightning storms.... until I saw the footage at 9:17 ! Not even the most adept CGI artist could match what the Author of all nature had wrought in those skies. Pecos Hank, you sure have captured more than a few for posterity!
I admire storm chasers. Along with documenting tornadoes and taking data, if they see people in need, they try to help the best they can. Sometimes they are people’s first responders. So thank you ❤️
Did u write and play that piano piece that started at 9:17? I know that when u edit and narrate ur vids that you like to do the soundtrack...just curious.

You'll likely see some action in OK. Lets hope that's the only place you do. Take care of yourself friend.
How was it?
@@PecosHank hi
6:50 The seizure sign is back.
IceyNova

"AHHHHHHHHH"
"STOP! Don't go down this road!"
Beautiful scenery. Absolutely stunning, Hank!
I truly appreciate that you revisit the devastated area, comparing the before/after. One of my favorite features of your work. You surely deserve a scholarship or grant.
5:20 - These are the visuals that, by themselves, would make this channel worth the subscription. That's absolutely beautiful.
Love the music and editing keep up the great work
Mr. Schyma i just realized you are the Jimi hendrix of these types of videos. You mixed your love of weather with photography and film making and vloggin. combined them to get this amazing style of video you cant describe it other than just. Pecos hank.
Edit: i think ive stated your the jimi hendrix of youtube before i forgot hah
And the wind cries Mary. Thanks Nick.
6:52 poor stop sign
Yeah i think he is far too close to the tornado.
7:44 notice how the cloud juat left of the twister is getting sort of a cowlick?
juat left? I suppose that's juat your opinion.
Alright. Much as I wanna watch this right now, I'm gonna save it for when my EFFING INTERNET COMES BACK ON because I wanna see the lightning on the Tv not on my itty bitty phone screen. Thank you Hank. These are incredible.

"Home Of High Quality Crap" 😂
It always blows my mind how you don't have 1M+ subs. There are few TH-camrs more deserving of it. I will keep spreading the word.
He does have over 1M now 👍
6:51 That stop sign, though.
Keep it up!
Your videos are the BEST!! And by far the most beautiful videos of tornados I have ever seen!!!
I love Hanks videos, especially in February!
I love these videos and I wish you the best luck in 2018 Hank!
The music at the beginning is so nostalgic
and sets the mood !
2:01 I love how I can hear this conversation
All my life, 53 years of it, I only THOUGHT that I had seen lightning storms.... until I saw the footage at 9:17 ! Not even the most adept CGI artist could match what the Author of all nature had wrought in those skies. Pecos Hank, you sure have captured more than a few for posterity!
Your videos make me happy. 🙃 Cinematography 10/10
1:40 Lol I'm laughing with you... holy moly... 8:42 damn daniel. 10:36 son. How do I get in the 2018 recap?
Maybe cross a dangerous highway somewhere when I happen to be driving along... or vice versa. Herps are starting to thaw out down here.
I'll keep you in the loop for our Houston stop in March.
I'm a simple man... I see a Pecos Hank video, I upvote
🌎 From everyone around the world 🌍 thanks for making these videos 🌏
Hank is a true renaissance man
That was real time?!
I can only imagine how loud they would be...
They sound like freight trains, so its pretty loud
I just realized you use your own background music! Awesome! Keep it up, man!
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!
Awesome work Hank!
James Dozier , it is a beautiful section of music. Just amazes me how well Hank can capture the moment/mood with music....really is inspirational.
James Dozier It's Spinning Plates by Radiohead, the live version
“But it wasn’t until March 28 when I experienced a good touchdown.”
Me: TOUCHDOWN!!!
That’s probably not exactly what he said...
Exquisite as always.
I admire this mans film-making skills. It's my passion, big respect.
This dude deserves more subscribers than what he have
